We needed air conditioning badly at our home (we live just outside Monterey off of HWY 68). With summer and autumn temperatures reaching the high 90s and triple digits more frequently, we knew we needed to invest in air conditioning as soon as possible. In the past, we had been using portable AC units, but they were extremely loud, didn't cool our rooms with vaulted ceilings, and during the wildfires they let in large amounts of smoky air. We knew ductless ACs were the way to go because they are quiet, powerful and cool the indoor air only (no smoky outside air brought inside and no leaky window venting). I called several local companies for quotes and Zach from All Seasons was clearly the best choice by far. Zach was the most responsive, professional, knowledgeable and reliable of all the companies interviewed. Zach quickly arranged an appointment to give us a quote for a mini split ductless AC system, and he even coordinated his visit with an electrician to ensure the quote was as accurate as possible. A few days later, we had scheduled the AC installation. Zach and his recommended electrician Dan were both very professional and extremely easy to work with. Zach always texted or called before arriving, and kept us up to date on the installation process every step of the way. He went above and beyond to ensure our new ductless AC units were working perfectly, spending extra time to make sure everything was just right. We couldn't have been happier with the process and the results! We've had a some very hot days already and we can't believe how quickly and quietly our new AC units cool our home!! They charged me 4 hours of work time. Totaling $800.00. But all they did was vacuum my vents and place tape over one open vent. On the bill, they charged me for a complete heater assessment ($200), but my heater wasn't turned on because the control box was being updated. $40 for each vent to clean, and 4 hours of time. But I don't even know what they did for 4 hours. I hate to say it, but be careful, because they will over charge you. read more

Jordan and Manny were our technicians on both occasions, respectively. An element which is likely just as important as the actual work performed is the customer service. I called to make an appointment and we were scheduled for a couple days later. On the day of I received a phone call advising me the tech could come earlier than scheduled and we worked it out, saving time and increasing efficiency for all involved. The second occurrence, our tech was busy on a previous call so I received another phone call advising me he was running late and the next best time to expect the tech. Received another phone call from the tech when he was 20 minutes out. These elements are absolutely essential and I appreciate the leadership of All Seasons Heating & Cooling. Keep it up. We hired All Seasons to perform preventive maintenance on our two furnaces. Zach arrived as as scheduled and did an excellent Job. In addition to cleaning the furnaces and replacing the filters he discovered an issue with the blower motor capacitors that could have eventually caused a failure. Warning: stay away from this company. If I could give zero stars, I would! My heat blower motor failed. I called them to come out and confirm my diagnosis of the issue. The house call cost $130. They quoted me $1425 to replace the motor. I asked for the part number of the motor in multiple phone calls. They refused to send me the information. I eventually pulled the motor myself and found the part number. Factory part (HD44AR134) is listed at $520 on google shopping. All Seasons was going to charge me over $1425 to replace a motor that I was able to replace in roughly 2 hours (after a simple you Tube video). - $130 service call - $1425 repair cost = total $1555 Cost of factory certified replacement for motor: - $520 - average replacement time 2-3 hours for blower motor This means All Season was charging over $500 an hour for labor. They tried to take advantage of a cold front that dropped tempatures. Use this company at your own risk! read more

We've had All Seasons come and diagnose and fix our heater a couple of times over the years with excellent service. The first time in 2016 our underfloor heater was flooded. All Seasons repaired it by replacing the circuit board and flame sensor. In 2019 All Seasons found that a faulty capacitor was the problem. All Seasons is courteous, prompt and know their business. They fix what's needed and don't push beyond that. We recommend them highly. read more

I called, they answered, set up a convenient appointment for me, called back to inform me I might find a cheaper thermostat on Amazon, even though they carried one on the truck if I preferred, and reminded me via email of my appointment the day before. The repairman called before he came, was professional and polite, and so thoroughly checked my system that he uncovered a small leak that could have posed a hazard later. I did not need a new thermostat-- just new batteries. The cost was reasonable. But most appreciated is the fact that the entire experience with All Seasons was so efficient and easy. We called Zach at All Seasons Heating & Cooling to help us with what could have been an emergency situation at our beach cottage. We needed to repair a furnace that had overheated and fried the circuit board. Not only was it a possible fire hazard but as well - there could have been a co2 leak and things could have ended up very badly. Zach and All Seasons replied in a timely fashion, was polite, courteous and came out immediately. After several visits attending to what had became a complicated situation he was able to get us back up and running! He made certain that the flueing for both the furnace and water heater were to code, ordered a new circuit board and repaired everything that was wrong as the original installation was completely lame. There were other problems associated with this as well - such as electrical and structural. This was handled at the same time by a general contractor partner who installed a dedicated breaker with an outlet, installed a light, bolstered the framework in the ceiling, installed a trap access door and punched vents throughout the roof area for ventilation. All of this was necessary to ensure a safe enviornment for our family and guests and we would highly recommend this company to anyone who reads this. I recently moved to Carmel from Auburn Ca. The small home I rented had been vacant for awhile. When I turned the heater on for the first time odd smells came from the vents. I went under the house where the heater was located and found rat feces everywhere! Yuck! I immediately went on Yelp and found All Seasons Heating and Cooling! The Gal who took my call was great! From the information I gave her it sounded like the ducts needed cleaning as well as the heater serviced. I got the approval from my landlord and they were able to come out the next day! They suit up mask up and use the RamAir Cleaning System. About a 4 hr job and so worth the peace of mind it gave me! The heater was inspected, serviced.....all was well! We called All Seasons because our HVAC shut off. After two hours of inspecting it by two technicians they realized it was simply because the installed unit was too big for the house. Costing us $154. Their solution was to increase the vent that allows air to get to the HVAC unit so that it wouldn't overheat and shut down. A week later they sent a handyman to our house to cut a new vent space about two feet from the actual HVAC at a cost of $140. The next day or two the two technicians came back and ran a flexible duct hose from the vent to the unit at a cost of $856. While this did ultimately fix the issue of over heating and the technicians were very polite, I do not believe the cost of $1,150 reflects to amount of work that was done. I will not be using All Seasons Heating & Cooling again. read more

Why can't every business be run like all All Seasons? I manage several properties in downtown KC. One of our tenant's A/C system broke down on a very hot July night. The good folks at at All Seasons answered the phone at 10:30 on a Saturday night ..... .... And then expeditiously fixed the problem the following morning -- a SUNDAY! This is exactly the type of Mom 'n Pop business we all want to support. The service was friendly, fast and quite reasonably priced. Owner Bruce also gave me some very objective, non-self-serving advice on future replacement of the HVAC system. Could not be more pleased with every aspect of their service. I've asked a couple of larger HVAC companies to look into my 15 year old furnace. I'm new in town so I'm leery about being taken advantage of. One company didn't call back and the other gave me an outrageous estimate for repair. The guy worked hard to convince me that I needed a new furnace 4x the price I paid for furnace and heat pump in another state. Then came Zack. He worked right into the source of the problem. He is very professional, courteous and above all, honest. There was no need for a new furnace. The motor fan was a bit squeaky due to age and tear but not critical enough to change the whole furnace. My brand-new wall heater had been making a high-pitched squealing noise for 4 days (even though it was turned off). Based on the other Yelp reviews, I called and scheduled an appointment with Zach, and of course the noise stopped on its own one hour after I called. I decided to keep the appointment and have Zach look at it anyways. He arrived on time and inspected my heater. It appeared to be in perfect condition, so we were unable to figure out what had caused the noise. He gave me a few tips on maintenance (vacuuming out underneath) and reminded me to check my carbon monoxide detector on a regular basis. He even offered to re-attach a handle that had broken off the outside. He was here about 15 minutes. I opened up my checkbook to pay him his diagnostic fee, but he wouldn't let me pay him. I really appreciated that and will definitely call him if the heater ever acts up again. read more

We just got our new heater installed by Zach, owner of All Seasons and must say I did not know there are still such straightforward, fair contractors who do what they say they will do, when they say they will do it, keeping you up with all of the necessary details. The price for the new gas furnace was reasonable considering it was installed in our house's crawl space, and the service was excellent. Example--we needed a new exhaust pipe as part of the process and Zach discussed the possibilities so we could decide where it would both function best and not interfere with our use of the house or its appearance. I contacted other local companies for input on replacement of this heater and would without a doubt pick this company without any hesitation. My ancient gas dryer happened to conk out the same day my furnace was installed. I called Zach to see if it had anything to do with the gas line or pilot being shut off during install. He spent time over the phone, helping me trouble shoot what may have happened. He offered to come out and take a look at it that night and also offered to pay for a dryer repair person to check.
