What I noticed about the location of this cabin was that it was further away from the heavy tourist areas but close enough to grocery stores, restaurants and shops. So if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the perfect getaway from the everyday stresses of life. This cabin includes a living room with a cute fireplace, a small but full kitchen with a eating area, full bathroom (water pressure is good and it heats up pretty quickly), a bedroom with a closet, access to the backyard, a front porch and a cozy loft with a flatscreen TV that I didn't touch once. I was primarily there solo to detox from the busy life of Los Angeles and not to ski since I was there beginning of May. Snuggle Bear Cabin had everything I needed to detox. I laid out my yoga mat and meditation pillow upstairs in the loft and it had an inviting view of tall trees out the window. It was a perfect environment to reflect on life, letting all creative juices flow, read and write. The solitude was exceptionally welcome. The final full day that I was there, my boyfriend came up to join me. And really...all we did was snuggle. UPDATE: After months of delays, repeated follow-ups, broker…read moreinvolvement, and extensive written documentation, Bruin Trojan Escrow finally reimbursed the additional $820.93 flood insurance overpayment that should never have happened in the first place. What should have been a simple accounting correction turned into an exhausting process involving multiple rewritten escrow amendments, inconsistent explanations, delayed responses, and attempts to require unnecessary liability language before releasing funds that were already owed back to me. Ironically, when escrow failed to pay my homeowners insurance at closing and I had to personally pay out of pocket to avoid cancellation, Janet Stevens-Moore issued reimbursement immediately with a cashier's check and no signed release or special documentation required. But when it came to returning the duplicate flood insurance payment escrow collected in error, the process became unnecessarily complicated and dragged on for months. Only after my realtor escalated the matter to her broker did meaningful progress finally occur. To be fair, the refund was ultimately issued and delivered via UPS. However, the overall experience left serious concerns regarding communication, escrow handling, transparency, and professionalism throughout the transaction. I would strongly encourage anyone considering using Bruin Trojan Realtors and Bruin Trojan Escrow to ask detailed questions, carefully review all escrow documents, independently verify all insurance and fund disbursements, and ensure they fully understand any affiliated business relationships involved in the transaction.

My wife & I stayed at the Treehouse for six nights & it couldn't have been a more romantic trip. After our honeymoon, we raved about this place so much we made all of our family jealous. Right after the new year, ten of us came up for another six nights of skiing & snowboarding. The wolves at the zoo would howl at night & there was never a dull moment. Vacation 3: I'm leaving for deployment soon (Navy) & we decided to bring us & our three little ones to our favorite getaway. Only two nights, but everything is perfect. Can't beat eggs & bacon in those cast iron skillets! As I have said before, this review has always strictly been about the experience of the lack of customer service from the property manager, NOT the condition of the cabin. POST FROM - The Treehouse on Aspen Facebook: The Treehouse on Aspen has been the victim of bullies. A group of renters who rented online for OCTOBER somehow, showed up in January. When shown the online reservation form, they insisted that they never stayed at the cabin in October. A call to the housekeeper determined that no one had come on the weekend they had reserved. Unfortunately, the Treehouse was already rented for the weekend they showed up for as it is a very popular rental. A sheriff was called to remove the disgruntled non-renters from the property and protect the current renters. A full refund was given to the non-renters even though under the terms of agreement that was not necessary. The owners also personally contacted the person who made the booking, hoping to ease the situation that could have been a simple mistake when they booked online. Instead, the person who booked the cabin refused to speak with the owners, and the friends have launched an online bullying campaign against the Treehouse. On Yelp,on Facebook, and on their personal pages they are attempting to ruin the reputation of a house they have never stayed in and the owners with whom they refused to talk to. It is a shame that some choose to use the power of the Internet to bully, harass, and otherwise defame innocent parties. We are currently investigating whether this can be pursued legally for slander as we do have their October reservation, and none for January. I do wish to thank all of those who have been our guests and enjoyed the Treehouse. I'm sorry that any of you have to be subjected to the immaturity, vindictiveness, and spite of an unfortunate group of people who have chosen to turn a mistake into a vendetta rather than work with the owners to resolve it. I have decided to put the Reviews back on for the benefit of those who actually stayed in our cabin, and hope that they do not become even more vulgar. No matter what issues they may have had with the property manager, their refusal to speak with the owners who only wanted to make things better and destroy the business of said owners, is extremely sad and speaks volumes of their own character. Thank you all for all the good times with the Treehouse! ****MY RESPONSE The power of social media - I normally don't drag things out, but because the property manager herself posted with her personal profile lacking empathy of the situation (plus the donut comment? - see review and thread) and still defending her behavior - it just isn't right. Yes it did result to anger, yes it did make our blood boil, it's like dealing with a bigot who just DOESN'T get it, now we're "bullies" because we posted an HONEST review from OUR perspective - welcome to the internet, don't get in it unless you're ready to handle the good and the bad. Negative honest reviews online are not equal to online bullying. Majority of people from our group stayed in that cabin in 2012 so in fact we have stayed in that lovely spacious cabin, that's why we were extremely disappointed with the mistake. Disgruntled- we weren't "disgruntled" until the property manager drove off. Think about it, you're trying to figure out what happened in the situation, and the person you have to work with on this decides to angrily drive away? How would you feel?
