Delicious sandwich options, fast and friendly service. We loved the pesto grilled cheese and apple Brie. Fries were tasty and generous. Salads were small but good! I love their mission and the dream lab next door, and their support of social justice causes.

Haven't been to their restaurant but was lucky enough to find their food truck at the neighborhood brewery. So fun; great service, with a smile and a whopping delicious grilled cheese jerk chicken sandwich. Just the right amount of heat and extra tasty. A must try; next time I'll visit the restaurant. With great owners with awesome attitudes and living life with gratitude and joy you can't lose. They tell me they will be at the Viking games. SKOL

All Square had been on my list for years, and I'm glad I at least know I can go back to get through the winter. It's not a massive menu but all of the grilled cheese sandwiches and sides are a hit! On top of that the staff were truly some of the kindest and most welcoming staff I've ever seen at a counter serve restaurant. Can't wait to go back!

Craft grilled cheese for a good cause- how can you say no? I love the premise behind this nonprofit and the food is pretty good. You get fun preset topping options for grilled cheese . The French fries are crispy, and the tomato basil soup hits the spot. You order at the counter and they bring the food to you. I went on a nice summer day and got to take advantage of the beautiful patio but there are some indoor seating options as well. Lots of free street parking available in the neighborhood as well.

Loved, loved, loved my Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese! I went here with a couple friends who were visiting. The weather was perfect, so we took our dog and sat out on the patio. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and the decor was nice. Love their mission! Employment is a hurdle for many people who are formerly incarcerated. I love that they specifically employ formerly incarcerated individuals and focus on restorative justice. The fellowship program is beneficial not only to those in the program, but also to the community as a whole. Can't say enough wonderful things about this place. Go check it out if you haven't already!

A little gem in the busy food scene if Minneapolis. Excellent food, customer service and mission, friendly ambiance. I am OBSESSED with the Johnny Tsunami and Jerk chicken sandwiches and don't get me started on the fries! The lemonade is also excellent and I'm even impressed with the salad. I hate pickles and I genuinely enjoyed their pickles!

Socially conscious grilled cheese - who knew there was such a thing? And who knew it could be so delish and so rewarding too? We just happened upon this place while visiting the Twin Cities and were so happy we did. We felt privileged to be able to share in their mission.

Great customer service and great sandwiches! We will definitely be back! I liked the apple and Brie sandwich but I might see if they can make it a little less sweet next time!

The Back to BAC was delish. Bacon, avocado, and cheese. What's not to like?! Very cool place and easy to get to with a layover in MSP.

I went with a group of 5 for dinner so we got quite a few dishes, most of which were really dazzling. As a table we got the special appetizer whipped feta drizzled with honey and fluffy pita bread, crispy cauliflower, coconut curry hummus, charred eggplant, seared sea scallops, duck fat fries, lamb sausage pizza, and steak frites. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the dishes they got & shared except for the steak which was over cooked for medium; still edible, but not worth $55. Including 3 drinks and a soda our total came out to $230 which is pretty steep but the quality and quantity of the food I think justifies it (except for the steak). I personally loved the scallops and whipped feta dishes, they were scrumptious. Our server was friendly and accommodating and our food came out not even 20 minutes after we ordered even though it was busy. For a special occasion, I would certainly come here again.

It had want I wanted for my aunt: an attached parking lot and lots of flat surfaces. It also had what I wanted for a perfect July day: an outdoor, covered patio! Service: When we peeked in the patio, a server said "pick any table you want, i'll be back with a basket." There were maybe 10 tables. The "basket" had silverware, napkins, menu and the QR code for ordering. The server explained that we got our own water and could order inside or through the QR. That is always a little annoying to me (Karen!) but the water was full, the food came out quickly, and they checked on us and cleared the plates in a reasonable manner. Food: I order steak salads as my go too and sometimes the steak is tough: not this steak! It was as smooth as butter! Delicious. My dinner companions ate all their food (we were talking and not about the food, but a clean plate is always a good indication.)

The tables have QR codes so you can order straight from your table. There's a decent selection of tacos, burgers, and more! We also splurged for a milkshake that was big enough to share. They had some deals which included a $4 Prys Beer! The onion rings were a stand out and we loved the "creole" aioli that came with the shrimp sandwich - though it tasted more like a wasabi base. There were a lot of things we liked about this place but where they lost points was the cleanliness. There was a lack of clarity on bussing your own table and everything just felt a little sticky. When the wind came - people's trash was blowing about and that wasn't ideal.

I ordered the Nashville Hot chicken and it was incredible. It was crispy, oversized, extremely hot, I was crying after eating it. My girlfriend got the eggs Benedict, which she loved, and I stole some of. The real star of this restaurant is the donuts and spicy cheese curds though. I would literally travel back to Minneapolis just for those. I think I dream about them in my sleep. The vibe is great inside, it's retro, but not in a try-hard way. I just expect a bit more if I am going to drop $70 for two lunch entrees and two drinks. Not including the tip. Bottom line: I would not go back for this very expensive diner that doesn't know how to properly cook simple things. Or chop veg. Or make a drink.
