House seasoning
Trecie M.

So good. It's located in the City Center building downstairs. The customer service is on point and the food is amazing. The portions are sharable sizes, the seasoning is good, and we got a cookie on the house. My daughter purchased their house seasoning to take back to California. Definitely a gem.

Fries! Seasoned to perfection (so, good)

Ok so my husbands like your taking me to the cop shop! This little gem is located inside the city hall building lower level in the garden room. It's a family owned business. The young lady at the front was super sweet and you heard her lovingly call back to "Daddy" in the kitchen. Southern charm and wonderful food. Great find! That's to fellow reviewers for pointing this place out.

Gumbo!

Amazing food. Get the gumbo. You won't regret it! Delicious cornbread and the chocolate chunk cookies - they are worth it. Great service and super kind and helpful owners. An asset to Eden Prairie businesses!

a box of french fries

Currently visiting Minneapolis and looking for lunch. We found this little spot located inside Eden City Center. My first thought was, "Yelp didn't tell me it near a police station," but already being here we decided to give it a try. At first, I wanted to try the fried ravioli but my mom reminded me that with the additional food I wanted, I wouldn't eat it all so instead I chose to just go with the tenders baskets w/ fries, and I'm glad I chose to stick with the tenders. With several different flavors to choose from, I went with the SWEET & SPICY ASAIN, they also flavor your fries!! And with that I wanted to try something different, so I chose DILL PICKLE. OMG y'all! When I say mouth watering I mean MOUTH WATERING! Everything was so delicious, and the owners (BLACK-OWNED BUSINESS) are just the nicest I've ever met. Their ranch is probably the best ranch I've ever had. When I asked Daddy Davis about it he said, they make it with their house seasoning. The also sell their house seasoning for $7.25 and I bought a bottle to take back home.

Need to plan way ahead and call in hours before pickup. Slow wait otherwise. Very friendly otherwise.

We dined in at Tavern 4&5 with a large group to celebrate a birthday. Reservations were made in advance and our table got seated quickly upon arrival. Similar to any tavern, the dining in experience is laid back and casual. You do not need to be dressed up by any measure to eat here. The menu is robust and I had a difficult time choosing as every item sounded great. A few members in our party had been here before and recommended the Thai chicken lettuce wraps off the appetizer menu and they did not disappoint. It was very fresh and I could tell it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. For my main entree, I got the Chicken Yum Yum which is a bowl with fried chicken, ginger soy sauce, coconut fried rice, mushrooms, edamame, egg, green onions, sesame seeds and yum yum sauce. It was nice to be able to find an Oriental meal at a tavern. Our service was excellent for having such a large party and I felt as if the prices were reasonable. Looking ahead, I can't wait to return as there's so many other great items that I hope to try including the sweet chili cauliflower appetizer, tator tots and harvest apple salad. Thank you, Tavern 4&5!!

Ordered the chili lime shrimp salad. Comes with 6 pieces of grilled shrimp on top of greens, avocado, tortilla strips. Overall great salad but we noticed the portion size is smaller. Also tried the grilled chicken grain bowl. Comes with grilled chicken, steamed green beans, greens, and quinoa. Dressing is a sweet plum sauce. It was decent but pricey at $23. The star of our lunch was the key lime dessert. More like a deconstructed pie but huge and so good! Restaurant was busy, service was mediocre, bathroom is clean. Large shared parking lot

I usually recommend a reservation for Pink Ivy as during dinner rush it always seems full. I have had so many great meals here. I am usually a meat and potatoes kind of person but the salmon here is great. Also as much as I dislike vegetables they actually have ones I order. As much as the food is always been great. The staff has also been wonderful. They are knowledgeable and friendly and really make a difference. Atmosphere can change from time to time. As busy restaurants nights are always going to have that buzz but in a good way. As the busy night calms into late evening there is this different nice smooth feeling that comes over the place. Lastly this place introduced me to a new drink. The Carajillo. In my opinion it's a better version of the Espresso Martini as it's a bit sweeter.

The place is pretty big but only about 8 people were there when we went in at 12:15 on a Sunday. Our server came over quickly when we sat down with our menus, and she was super nice. They were out of my first choice of an IPA, but they had Surly Furious as a nice backup. I ordered the big 32oz, followed by a 16 ounce mason jar later on. Solid Twin Cities flagship beer. I ordered a Cuban with a side salad, which I was glad I was able to substitute and my wife got the steamed vegetables. Lots of pork on the Cuban, could have used some more pickle and mustard, but it was plenty good and the pork was juicy. Good loaf of sandwich bread as well. Her steamed vegetables were fresh looking and tasted good and the Caesar salad was great size and not too drenched in dressing. It was really good with plenty of croutons to top it off. We took home half the salad and veggies and I made a great wrap with it the next day with a chicken brat. Really good sports bar, make sure to check it out!

Perfect spot for a casual date night or catching a game while enjoying their great drink specials. We started with potato skins which were lacking a a bit of flavor, but if you dunk them into their seasoned sour cream? Game changer. For my entree, I tried the new whiskey BBQ burger. It was good, but felt like it could use a touch more BBQ sauce. I will admit I stepped out of my usual comfort zone this time and tried a couple new items, which may have affected my experience, but hey gotta live a little, right? Other than that service was excellent as always, and we definitely made the most of happy hour. We saw the burger of the month in December was a tater-tot hotdish burger online and man did it look like a 10/10. We drove about 30 minutes and ordered two along with a past and red sauce kids meals. While we waited we ordered a flight to try several options: the peanut butter bear was amazing, the cider / seltzers were good (Sherbet was the best) but the sugar cookie was meh. Once our good arrived a was already bummed as it didn't look like the photo. The burgers weren't cooked to order and overall there wasn't a lot of flavor for a burger with so much going on. I felt like it needed more goop....that's the best part of a hotdish, the glue. The past with red sauce wasn't well received but kids are kids. It didn't look amazing, but I didn't except much. With the menu being as big as it is I wouldn't mind coming back and trying something else, but I'm not in a rush to return.
