I purchased a 2024 Ford Mustang in November 2024. The same day I purchased the car the infotainment center as well as cluster started glitching and going blank. I was told by Ford the system needed to be updated. I took the car to have the system updated. About 3 weeks later the same malfunction happened again with the cluster/ITC. This time the service department tells me I need to have a software update again. Trusting Ford is being honest with me I take the car back to have the programming completed. A few days later (3rd repair at this point) the same malfunction happens again with the car. I go to All Star to talk with a manager, who I might add was very defensive and rude for no reason because I simply told him what's been going on with the car and that service reps told me they don't know what to do to repair the car and at this point I would like the vehicle replaced, This manager goes on to tell me "the lemon law does not have any weight on used cars in Louisiana should I try to get an attorney, that it's been past 30 days so the only way he can put me in a new car is to do a trade in and that I would have to put a $5,000 down payment & if the car can't be repaired he would give me a new car which was a SARCASTIC LIE. I was also told if I try to personally sue All Star SuperCenter that I will most likely loose as other customers have bc the OWNER of this particular Ford have connections with attorneys throughout Louisiana. Also, KEEP IN MIND I JUST GAVE THEM A $2000 down payment for my original purchase. I'm a single mom who works HARD for every cent I earn only to have Ford TAKE my money. May 15, 2025, my car has been taken to service 7 times regarding the same malfunctions. I talked to the General Manager who verbally told me in front of 2 other managers that was in the office that the car is a lemon and he will replace it, get this, UNDER THE LEMON LAW!!!! I forgot to mention, the service department has deemed the car as unsafe to drive several times before (but continued to say they repaired the malfunction & gave the car back to me to drive) after receiving the car back in March & driving it, the car caused me a neck injury due to the screen going blank AGAIN while I was driving, the car screen went blank as I'm driving at a speed of 70+ miles causing the car to quickly jerked as if it COMPLETELY lost power but picked back up speed as if the power immediately returned on. FORD HAS HAD MY CAR EVERY MONTH SINCE I PURCHASED THE VEHICLE. THEY HAVE HAD THE CAR LONGER THAN I HAVE BC EACH TIME I TAKE IT IN THEY KEEP IT FOR A MONTH OR MORE. ITS GOING ON 2 MONTHS AS OF TODAY THAT MY CAR HAS BEEN SITTING IN THE SERVICE DEPT PARKING LOT. IM STILL RESPONSIBLE FOR THE $800 car note and Insurance while the only persons driving the car and who has the car is Ford not ME. I'm paying for Ford to keep a car that was supposed to leave the lot with me for my benefit. 6 MONTHS LATER AFTER PURCHASE THE CAR HAS BEEN AT FORD. I HAVE HAD THE CAR MAYBE 2 WEEKS TOTAL OUT OF THE MONTHS. Fast forward to today the service dept is still saying they don't know what to do to repair it at this point they have had an Engineer Tech fly in from Switzerland to look at it, so they say and still no repair. They have replaced the entire cluster screen, still malfunctioning. The General Manager has promised me he will get me into a new car ASAP, WITHOUT DOING ANY FORM OF TRADE IN, BUT ALL OF THIS SEEMS TO BE BIG TALK (LIES) TO PROLONG THE SITUATION. Communication and keeping the customer updated is NONEXISTENT with this company. They lie and tell you they are working on situations with co managers, only to call and find out the comanager was never contacted regarding anything and they were never really trying to get me into a new car at all. Saga of the Pre-owned Lincoln Nautilus continues. There are always things you look for when purchasing a pre-owned vehicle.... Body chips/marks, tires, interior, etc.... These are a few of what I think is a top "10" list.... In no previous pre-owned purchase did/does inspection sticker come up. There has never been a time where an inspection sticker was not on the vehicle; except this time... I never even looked to see if there really was one and since my wife drives it exclusively it was never noticed; until I drove it on a vacation.... I was stunned that the vehicle had NO inspection....!!! I continue to question this dealership .... read more

All Star Hyundai Service department, Baton Rouge..if it was possible to provide a rating less than zero, I would. I started out thinking they were nice & helpful. @ least the initial people I dealt with were. unfortunately I did not have the same experience when I returned because I authorized work that didn't need to be done (Brake fluid, etc) I let myself get taken advantage of since my car had fresh brake fluid & upgraded brakes & rotors that are maybe just now a year old. My fault for just authorizing everything when I was awakened from a dead sleep. I accept that responsibility. Lesson learned there. I will NEVER allow a dealership to do anything to my car other than what absolutely can't be handled by anyone else. Shame on them for "recommending" services (that were NOT needed, yet not recommending things that should've been done) Just to take advantage of customers lack of knowledge about cars so they can make an extra buck! Asking for honesty, integrity & the practice of ethics is clearly too much to expect. They gave me my car back with air in the brake line & therefore basically no brakes. My brakes & rotors are brand new & upgraded & already had fresh brake fluid. I didn't bring my car to them for braking issues (& someone's open drink bottle 3/4 empty with no lid on it in my cup holder. I would greatly appreciate people not leaving their trash in my car.) When I went back I was upset & then I was ignored. The service manager wasn't a bit worried about taking care of a customer that was clearly upset (although upset I did not go in & take it out on the people @ the desk, they didn't work on my car). The service manager was in no hurry to take care of a customer & took his time taking a lunch break. Like I didn't have places to be, I didn't mess my car up, they did. I was actively ignored for over half an hour. & when someone finally bothered to pay attention to me, I was on a personal phone call, not talking loud, not on speaker & not even facing the counter. The only thing she heard me say on a PERSONAL phone call was the "B" word & she popped off. In front of other customers she was yelling at me, cursing @ me & calling ME curse words & trying to come across the counter to attack me. Another customer stepped in. This other customer even told the service manager (who finally decided to show up) what she witnessed & how HIS employee started with me & was calling me names & trying to attack me & she really needed to lose her job if that's how she's allowed to treat customers. He didn't bother to get her name for reference. He wasn't very nice to me either. He spoke down to me, never apologized (not even to the other customer that told him what his employee did & how long I'd been waiting & ignored). He in fact told me that he'd had about enough of me. But did agree to refund me the money for what they did to the brakes. I was so upset that my boyfriend left work & picked me up while they fixed what they messed up. The service manager's attitude was completely different when I came back to get the car & there was a man with me. Still not nice but Suddenly he didn't feel the need to talk down to me & be an outright jerk when there was a very large man with me. Could also be that maybe he actually watched the recorded footage, on their cameras & saw what his employee did.Still..no apology for anything. That was all April 14, it's now June & I still haven't gotten my money back from them. I did get a text asking if I had a positive experience & when I replied "no" I received a text saying someone would be calling me. Yet, no phone call. So, today I left a VM for the general manager requesting that he please contact me asap. Still nothing. I was actually trying to find out how I could file a complaint with corporate & Yelp popped up, so I figured I'd stop here first & drop a review. Mow My brakes work, but they absolutely are not the same as when I brought my car to them. I'm sorry this is so long. I just feel that any one else considering this place should probably choose another dealership as customer safety, service and satisfaction is NOT a priority. Or @ least know what you risk dealing with if you do choose to give them your business. I always had a positive experience with All Star Nissan in Denham so I figured All Star Hyundai would be good too..Another lesson learned. In a nutshell DO NOT bring your car to All Star Hyundai. In retrospect I probably should've gotten the other customer's name & called the police. But I was too upset to even think straight after this employee was allowed to do what she did. The service manager wouldn't allow me to view the footage with him (I'm sure because he knew they could be at risk of a law suit once he saw that she was the agressor). Allstar Chevy North on Plank Road is the worse that I have ever had to deal with. My husband took his 2024 Chevy 2500 pickup that he has not had for a year yet to the dealership because the truck is hesitating, and the check engine light is constantly coming on. I was called and told that he could pick up his truck because it was fixed that the technician drove his truck and there was nothing wrong with it. Please keep in mind he had to get someone to pick him up from the dealership after dropping it off and he had to have someone bring him back to pick it up. A little less than a week later the truck was having the same problem, so it was taken back to the dealership on Friday, while heading to the dealership we almost got struck by another vehicle due to the vehicle hesitating. Once we arrived at the dealership, he explained that he was having the same problems with the truck, so it was taken to the back to be looked at. We were there for a total of 4 hours and while there no one told us anything about his truck for at least 2 of those hours. When he asked if anyone has said anything about what was wrong with his truck, he was told that none of the technicians has said anything yet, we were later told that the tech had the tire off and we would be informed what was happening once the tech was spoken to. After waiting another hour and a half my husband asked the front desk guy again what was going on and he was told the tech said it was a wiring issue. We asked how long they would keep his truck but were told they didn't know, we asked was a loaner vehicle going to be provided and we were told that they had to pinpoint the issue first before Chevy would approve a loaner vehicle (but wait isn't a wiring issue the problem or is this just something we were told because they don't know what the issue is) but that they didn't have any loaner vehicles at this time. My husband asked how he would get around and he was told he could rent a vehicle and chevy may reimburse him if they approved keeping his vehicle once the issue problem was identified (what happened to the wiring issue)? We both understand that things happen with vehicles but don't leave us in the blind for hours with no information, leave him without a vehicle because you do not have any answers as to what the issue is with the vehicle and then not try to accommodate him. This is the worse example of great customer service that I've ever seen. I'm beginning to wonder if there is anyone that knows what the issue is with his truck or how to figure out what the issue is. read more

Purchased my 21Elantra in June of the same year. One week later the paint started chipping. Called the service center for an appointment to take care of the issue. I have called every other week to elicit a response on when will the problem be addressed, until now March 2022. Went over to collision Center where my info was taken and supposedly an email sent to request repairs be approved. The service center and dealership manager (Jay) continue to say they're waiting for an email from the collision center. Someone isn't telling the truth. The vehicle is great, got it to save on fuel cost as I commute daily to New Orleans. DO NOT USE THE RAM SERVICE CENTER IN DENHAM SPRINGS. I had a Safety recall on my 2017 Eco Diesel done. The dealer made the repairs and returned the truck. 1 day later the truck canfilled up with exhaust gases. My wife and I had to pull over in a driving rain storm to let the truck air out. They don't care about your safety or time. Safety Recall issued VB1/NHTSA 19 V-757 Confirmed parts 5/11/20 were in per Service department. Brought truck to dealer 5/18/20 Called to check status 6/3/20 was told parts back ordered till April 2021. Inspection was completed and needed parts ordered 6/12 Got a call from FMC customer care saying parts were in dealer would be in contact. 6/15 called the dealer and asked about parts and schedule. They said would need to confirm and would call back. 6/16 no call back. 6/16 called costumer service to inquire. Service desk said all parts were in and could do recall. Scheduled an appointment. Service scheduled for 6/18. 6/18 returned truck back to dealer for VB1 recall repairs 6/18 Dealer called and said they needed another part "cooling line" and they would have to order it. Another appointment needed when parts arrive. No loaner vehicle available. Estimate time 2 weeks. 6/22 Talked to FMC case manager. Told her still no call from service center. 6/23. Driving down Florida Blvd. exhaust fumes so bad in truck my wife and I were nauseous and needed to pull over. I opened the hood and on the passenger side next to the fire wall the fumes were very strong. Still no call from service advisor or anyone from All Star Automotive 6/24 bring truck back to service center. Discussed issues with Tyler AllStar service manager. We opened the hood and confirmed the exhaust gas smell. I did receive a loaner Truck. I instructed the service manager to keep my truck until ordered parts were received and replaced. Also to locate and repair the source of the exhaust gas related to the repair or not. 7/1 Update no call or information on the status of truck. In the Service Center 7 days today. 7/2 picked up truck from dealership. 6/18 Asked if truck was safe to drive and they said yes. See 6/23 entry. Asked if acceleration issue was addressed. (Service advisor to check and call back.) Close of business no call. 6/3/20. Nothing specific found. Service said they think by cleaning the RGR valve it may run better!!!??? My experience with Kia on Seigan was described as one from hell. I had to get my own rental car without assistance from the service advisor and I had to call about my own warranty because the people there were incompetent about the warranty process. It was hard to get in touch with someone because no one would answer the phone. My experience was truly a nightmare. Someone broke into my mother's car and stole her eyeglasses, and went through all her personal belongings. The personnel in the service department confirmed this situation, but they could not confirm which staff member opened the car and assessed my mom's personal items and information. They called to say yes so we scheduled an appointment to make sue car was going to be available since I was driving over 1.5 hours to dealership. I make the drive over and when I get there they can't find the car for 15 minutes. They then come over and tell me it's at an off premise shop and it's closed. Not only did they sell the vehicle before my appointment, but they continued to communicate with me as if the vehicle was still there and NEVER let me know it was sold. I simply just needed a quote for a minor repair of my antenna. I called multiple times, and was redirected to several employees, all of which could not simply give me a quote. I asked to speak to the service manager and was told he would pick up in 2-3 minutes. After 10 minutes on hold, I hung up and called back. Then, I am told the department is closed, and apparently no one in the building could help me. On employee even told me they do not provide quotes, since I was not in the building??? Crazy! So I guess, I will find somewhere else to help me! Your company lost money... again!!! I have had several issues with this company overall, and have been quiet about it, but this is just crazy! Absolutely avoid All-Star Automotive Group if at all possible! Worst dealership and service department I've ever dealt with. Please see previous review from my wife, Teresa Cheely, as this will be a follow up and ongoing- Have been going back and forth with All Star Dodge in Denham Springs since September 2018 to resolve a starting issue. The vehicle was purchased a few months earlier in June 2018. After keeping my vehicle for nearly a month and doing absolutely nothing with it, it was returned to me with unresolved issues. I went back in week before thanksgiving and was told a recalled part that has already been replaced would need to be ordered. Service tech, Carmen, said she would call the next day to confirm it was ordered and would also call to confirm it was delivered. No calls received. I called for weeks, left voicemails, and never got any response. I've tried reaching the service manager and general manager without any response either (both have since been fired, replacements not returning calls either). Starting issue was getting much worse and after getting stranded a few times decided to drive in and question service department in person since that's the only way to have any correspondence with them. Numerous other unhappy customers any time I've been there. I question about the part that should have been ordered over 3 weeks ago and after waiting about an hour I finally get the answer that the part was never ordered. This was Monday, and they promised it would be ordered that day and would be in Wednesday morning. Although the vehicle would not start and was hazardous to drive, the new service manager, Tonya, would not provide a rental or loaner. Angrily, I said I would return 1st thing Wednesday morning, hoping to finally be done with this service department. Trying to leave, the vehicle will no longer start at all. Once I showed this to the service tech, Carmen, she finally tried to run this back through warranty and approve a rental. Was told to call her back Wednesday morning to confirm part was delivered. I tried calling Carmen, Tonya, and Richard (General Manager) for 30 minutes before I was able to get someone on the phone and all they could say was that the "part has been invoiced and should be here later this afternoon or 1st thing in the morning". I have absolutely no hope in them resolving this in a timely manner or that this part (that has already been replaced) will have any effect. Further, the rental will only be approved for 5 days and I will be responsible past that period - just in time to try to travel for the holidays. Will provide further updates as I try to resolve this issue. Reviews@allstarautomotive.com don't bother responding - we've tried contacting you directly as well without any response and your communication here is a abhorrent attempt to save face. Please stop wasting my time and money and deliver this vehicle to someone capable of servicing and answering a damn phone. As this has resulted in undue hardships and charges for services undelivered, with my experience being well documented, this case will be presented to the BBB, CFPB, and pursued legally to recover damages if necessary. I bought a 2007 F150 STX, 2009 F150 XLT, 2013 Ford Edge Titanium, and the company I worked for had a 2015 F150 XL sent to this dealer which I received 3 weeks ago. At this time I am looking for a personal F150 XLT after shopping at Allstar and Hollingsworth Richards for I think Hollingsworth is a better dealer to deal with. At one time I thought their service was good, but it is horrible along with attitude toward the customer at the Allstar Ford in Prairieville, LA location. Employees are more into joking and playing around than helping the customer. I went in on 7/3/2015 to get wiper blades for my 2013 Ford Edge titanium around 12:45pm. The parts counter was like a play land with the employees more interested in playing jokes on each other than helping me with the parts I needed. After a few minutes the parts employees finally decided to help me. I needed some wiper blades and told them the vehicle and wanted them to make certain it was the wiper blades for the 2013 Ford Edge (Titanium). The counter guy gave me a smart attitude and said all the Edge blades were the same. He said he knew what he was doing and if I wanted them to pay the cashier and get the F&&K O&T. Well I tried putting them on this morning 7/4/2015 and guess what "THEY ARE THE WRONG BLADES." Went to Allstar Ford 7/4/2015 and the parts dept was closed the guys in the office didn't care and said if I had issues I could deal with it on Monday! Well I went to Hollingsworth Richards Ford and even though the parts dept was closed I do bring my Fords in there for Service. The salesman helping me look for an F150 not only helped me find the right blades for my 2013 Ford Edge Titanium he got me the blades. He also took my Allstar Ford F150 quote and beat it on a similar truck by $2,000. They helped me out due to my other wiper blades were shot. As far as Allstar I will probably be charged a 20% parts restocking fee due to their parts guy was playing around and did not check to make sure the wiper blades were the correct blades. My daughter and I were helped the minute we set foot on the lot and the sales people seemed very nice and helpful. We had gone to this dealership to see a used Sonata listed on the internet and to test drive a Santa Fe. After the test drive the sales person asked which one I prefered. Of course I perfered the Sonata because it was loaded with every option and the Santa Fe was a base model. I asked for 2 invoices, one for each model. He showed me the invoice for the Sonata and had come off the price $63.00. (yes $63.00 that is not a typo) I said that I was disappointed that they hadn't come down and he told me that wasn't the point! What is the point? So I could see that he thought that I was a women alone and I guess he thought that I would just say "oh ok" and buy because I liked the car. When I asked for the invoice for the Santa Fe he said it didn't matter that they were the same price. I should go to Vegas! What are the changes that I pick the 2 cars on the lot that are the exact same price. I had told them that I had $7000.00 and was willing to finance up to 72 months. They never said ok you can't afford this Sonata but let me show you a used elentra or a new accent. They let me walk out the door and then called me later in the week "to see what car they could get me in". They misjudged. I was made to feel that I didn't have enough money to get into any car on the lot and felt insulted when I was told that the coming down on the price didn't matter. So I left and drove to Metairie and bought a car from someone else who looked at the inventory and found a car that fit my budget and drove home a happy women. When I told this story to a retired sales person they said "if I had known that is where you were going I would have told you not to waste your time." She said they wouldn't even work with other dealerships and are known for that type of salesmenship. read more

They screwed up a collision repair of ours so badly that they actually wound up having to pay us for the value of the car. The entire process of dealing with them took over a year. Refinanced my car through AS Hyundai and a month later (3 days before my temp tag expires AND after a first payment on the car) I call to see why I haven't recieved my plate and I'm told that there is paperwork missing and they haven't filed for my plate yet... I never recieved a call or voicemail or notice in the mail or anything about paperwork being missing. The whole proccess has been mass confusion. The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. I've left two voicemails which have gone without a call back and left a note with someone in titles to get this person to call me back and still nothing. I had an appointment for Monday 7/13/2015 to have my 2012 focus's transmission looked at. It was a frustrating week for me because they did not do a very good job with communicating to me the status of my car; it was difficult to get a hold of them by phone so I ended up having to drive over there to get information. They were very apologetic once all this was brought to their attention and they seemed sincere to me. They did a much better job of communicating with me after that. They finished my car by COB on Friday which is within the time frame I had requested and I am very happy with the repair. The transmission seems to be operating much better now. read more

I found a used car that I was interested in purchasing via their website. The car was listed for $9000. However, after visiting the dealership, for a scheduled appointment with a manager (who wasn't there), the car couldn't be found (was in for re-conditioning down the street), drove down the street to see it (it was not there - had been picked up), went back to the dealership and there it was...with another customer - no problem, I thought, it was a good deal. Here's where it gets interesting - the salesman with the other customer tells them that the price was wrong on the internet listing - it should be $4900 higher...AH, the old BAIT AND SWITCH! So now I know I'm not going to do business with them and I let the GM know via a reply to his email - he has not acknowleged receipt of the email yet. I also notified them that the internet listing still says $9000, not the correct price...still BAITING and I imagine, SWITCHING....STAY AWAY FROM ALL STAR HYUNDAI! read more

Most horrible service experience ever. Please avoid All Star Automotive and save yourself from the misery of dealing with people who do not care about customer service whatsoever. Dropped my 2012 truck off on Monday morning, June 15, 2015, and phoned on Tuesday and Wednesday and left messages but never got a return phone call. My wife finally spoke to someone on Wednesday and was told nothing had been checked out on the truck. Coreen then checked with the service department and was told they would look at it on Thursday and phone us. Phoned to speak to service manager and had to leave a message but again no return call. We called again on Friday and said truck should be ready Monday. Phoned them on Tuesday morning and had to leave a message again no return call. Phoned again and was told truck not ready they need to order a part. So we told them we were coming to pick up truck please do not repair. Arrived to pick up truck and was ignored for 10-15 minutes before anyone asked if I needed help. Then given bill for $137.00 even though we had purchased the extended warranty which was still in effect. Coreen said I did not have a warranty so I had to bring my invoice for proof. No one was interested in looking at my proof of warranty. The service manager Jeremy then appeared and asked very rudely if I had initialed the service agreement when the truck was dropped off and said I had to pay in order to take the truck. I did pay but will never ever return to purchase another vehicle from any All Star Automotive dealership! read more

Poor knowledge of inventory! Very very put on the pressure attitude. Very unorganized and the finance manager kept complaining how they were losing so much money! Even though I was preapproved at a credit union, they would only give me the price I wanted if I finance through them. Not even through Kia finance. Went to premier Kia in Kenner which is a hour and a half away and bought a brand new s u v. In less than 3 hours. Told them want I wanted in a vehicle, emailed the pics of my trade, got the figure I wanted before I got there and walked in and signed! Spent 5 hours at all star and was treated poorly and our salesman went to lunch while we were waiting with kids. Never offered any drinks, or snacks. Only color books. I will never spend any money at the all star group because this is their headquarters. If I get treated like that at their headquarters, I can imagine how i would be treated at a other one of their dealership. There was only one person their who was okay, and her name was Ashley? I think. But they kept saying they didn't have the model we wanted and kept trying to sell us a 2014 for more. Threaten to walk out and the infamous " oh I think we have the one you want in the back, let me check game started". Super bad experience. Don't bother to get preapproved for a certain amount, because they won't listen. If yelp had negative stars, I would give them -2 stars. Because I told them online and over the phone what and where I needed to be and they still didn't listen. I hate wasting my personal and kids time and that's all they did. Good luck if you go, I suggest you do some shopping around in the Kenner/ New Orleans area first. read more
