My daughter ordered a dress for her friend's 18th debut and they were asked to wear a specific cream color dress as she is part of the court. When the dress arrived the night before the party it was super wrinkled. I tried to iron, steam, add ice cubes to the dryer but nothing worked. They didn't press my shirts correctly, making them extremely wrinkly, and she blamed it on me not willing to pay for dry cleaning (I had shirts laundered because they didn't REQUIRE dry cleaning - so if it doesn't NEED it then I'm not going to pay for something extra). I've had the same shirts laundered and pressed at different dry cleaners over the years and have never had any issues like experienced here with all star cleaners. I took a pillow to have 1 button fixed and to have the pillow cleaned. This is a little pillow for decoration. The bill $18.00 are you kidding me!! Ok fine a little pricey but they are close to home. I'm already here. I decided to leave it. I go back to pick it up a few days later. The pillow is all bent out of shape looks like they threw it in the washer. Stuffing is all pushed to one side. The color is changed. Now it doesn't match. The set is now useless. Horrible. I'm so mad !!!!!! I loved my pillow and now it's ruined. I would not recommend this dry cleaners. I'm sure the majority of all businesses suffered through 2020 in this horrendous pandemic. I have to believe that with so many people working from home/not going to school/or just plain staying home that the dry cleaning business would be one of the toughest. I've have used many dry cleaners throughout my adult life and I have experience both good and bad. I have to say that All Star is as good as I've seen. Recently I realized that the end product is very important, but the "experience" is equal to if not more important. I've never gone into All Star without receiving the best service. They go out of their way to accommodate any special needs, and do this with a smile on their face 100% of the time. I couldn't recommend them any higher! read more

The WORST business EVER! I want to give it -0 stars. I went in with a coupon they gave me when I dropped off the clothes and the girl told me I could use it when I pick the clothes up. Not only did the owner refuse to take my coupon (he said I could ONLY use it on my next order) and I explained to him the girl told me I could use it on this order, and he wouldn't budge and I said fine, I'm never coming back here and I told him I was going to write this review on here, then he decided to take the coupon, but he wasn't done. He started telling me I had taken to long to pick up my clothes and he should be charging me for storage to hold the clothes. I explained I had called twice and spoke to the girl I wrote her name on the receipt even saying I apologize I haven't picked up my clothes yet, she assured me they wouldn't get rid of my clothes and it was o.k. He just kept harassing me, I finally said "Your making my blood pressure go up, just take my money and let me leave" he kept arguing and harassing me, repeating the same thing over and over. I've never in my life seen a business conduct this way. I said I can't believe you keep telling me how horrible of a person I am for leaving my clothes here and how you lost money on storage. He literally was giving me a hard time for like 5-7 mins. I signed the receipt as I used my debit card and he said do you want a receipt I said yes, but instead of giving me my receipt I asked for he looked at my signature and said this signature isn't any good, I need to see your I.D. at this point I'm seriously thinking what is wrong with this man? and I'm not going to let him see my address on my I.D. and grabbed my clothes and left without my receipt. Been going for the last 3 years to this cleaner. Always been good. One hiccup last month one of the brand new dress of my wife was stained and had a snag. But they fixed it. I spoke with the owner previously, I wished he had been more apologetic and friendly. As I have been his customer for the last 3 years, cordial treatment is a must since there are numerous cleaners around. My only advise, please keep highly qualified employees, in this business if you cut corners, you will lose business. I came in to pickup an order and drop off 7 items. As I was walking to my vehicle I noticed the receipt for the 7 items was awfully high in price so I returned to the store and spoke to the female employee. While speaking to the female employee, an Indian male employee stepped into the conversation. The female employee noticed she had charged me for an extra coat. She apologized and reprinted the receipt showing a total of 7 items and not 8. The male employee (Indian), was exceptionally rude the way he spoke to me and accused me of making the mistake reading the invoice. As I inquired about the individual charges on the receipt to ensure I was not overcharged, he told me I made the mistake and I didn't understand how to read the receipt. Once I inquired about the extra coat charge, no apology was given by the male employee but his response was "we both make mistakes". Rather than apologizing for the extra charge of the coat he pointed out arrogantly I made the mistake on reading the receipt. The female employee did make a mistake in charging me an extra coat, she admitted to the mistake and removed the extra coat. The male employee had no idea how to handle the situation professionally. He seriously lacked customer service skills and made the situation worse. I was upset by my experience and asked for the contact information for the owner 3 separate times but he ignored my request each time. I told him I planned on writing a Yelp review and suddenly he felt the need to apologize. I told him it was too late for that. I collected my 7 items and left the business. I worked in customer service for over 17 years and never had a complaint once from a customer and that's because the goal is to resolve the conflict rather than making it worse. The male employee made the situation worse. The female employee handled the situation right. She noticed her mistake, fixed it and apologized. Good news is, I went to Albertson's Grocery Store in Chino Hills and received awesome customer service!!! Also, the prices were so much lower!!! Been going to All Star Cleaners since I've moved to Chino (2 years). I've never had a problem going there until I took my authentic Angel's jersey there. The numbers and front logo were faded in certain locations (the "ang", side MLB logo and the numbers in back). I left my name and number with the woman at the counter. A few days later the owner left me a voicemail. When I called back, I talked to the owner (Couch), he said that his machines didn't do it. That maybe it was acid or grapefruit that I spilled on it. Then he mentioned that if I paid a $75 fee, then they could see what the problem was and then if it was their fault they would pay for it. When I dropped off my jersey, the woman working the counter said that it could have been a possible machine press that ruined it. When I mentioned this to Couch, he said, "She didn't say that ..." When I asked him if he just called me a liar he changed it to, "She shouldn't have said that." The conversation ended when I asked him if he was going to fix it. I got my jersery from the cleaners, put it on, saw the damage and took it back. He said he wouldn't fix it so I just hung up. Talk about poor customer satisfaction. Extremely disappointed. I understand businesses can have off days, I understand you can't please every customer and I wish I could at least give this place a two star, because I understand the impact these reviews can have. With that being said this is just terrible, I have a go to location for getting stuff sewn on my uniforms, but my place was closed and I needed my uniforms done asap. My usual location first off charges $20 per uniform, this location however cost $100 for 1 single uniform, with the fact that I needed it done asap I decided to take the loss and pay the excessive extra cost, expecting at least mediocre results, only to find out today that they sew on the patch entirely crooked and not even in an actual square, they didn't take out the strings from the former patches and look at the hat! They didn't put the correct sizing of the square at all. Keep in mind, I not only broke it down exactly how the sizes should be and helped with putting the pins in to ensure its put on correctly, but I also left one uniform to not only use as a reference, but I also let them take photos to make sure the uniform would be done correctly. So after spending the extra dollar to get this done in a timely manner, I'm now left with a uniform that was sewn together so poorly that it's unwearable. I will now need to get it redone, by my usual people and pay again to get the job done correctly. read more

I dropped off my husband's suit to be cleaned for my father's funeral. In all the chaos surrounding that event, I completely forgot to pick it up. I remembered the night before and drive over to find the posted hours showing the store had closed 90 minutes earlier. By some miracle, there were two men still inside working on the computers. The owner let me in, but because the system was off, couldn't recall the suit by the ticket number. He manually turned the rack and looked through each garment one by one until we found the suit. The suit was cleaned and pressed beautifully but it is the kind customer service that won me over. I'm glad this friendly place is so close to home. read more

Friendly staff that gets your clothes cleaned in a reasonable amount of time. I've been here quite a few times to bring in my dress pants and dress shirts and have had no problems with those so far. The only reason why I'm giving this place 4 stars instead of 5 is because I brought in some Diesel jeans once to get cleaned. When I got them back the waist area was clearly faded and turning white. Some of the areas around the zipper and pockets also looked like they got worn down. This is my first time cleaning these pants since I've had them and they weren't there before. Other than that though, I still like this place and give them the benefit of the doubt. read more

Dropped off a pair of jeans for alterations. I was told they would be ready on a Thursday night. I made arrangements to drive there and pick up only to be told they wouldn't be ready until next day. I made arrangements again the next day to drive up there and pick up and again they weren't ready!! Unacceptable service!! Keep in mind jeans had already been at the cleaners for 5 business day not counting the extra inconvenient days! I came here because it was within close proximity to my house and plus I go to state bros so I decided to try it out. I didn't want to mean and give a 1 star but they did get the cigarette smoke out. However, they did manage to leave these white spots on both my black dresses. One of them came out with some dusting and spritz of water. The other one didn't come out as nicely and I had to scrub. Which probably ruined the dress since its suppose to be dry clean but I thought it would come out. It dried and I can still see the spot. read more

I GIVE THIS PLACE -0- STARS! Brought in three pairs of shoes. One came back with pink soles and the gentleman tried to convince me it was from red dirt. Highly unlikely as we haven't been in dirt with any red components. The other pair was a leather adidas and the leather became hard (like almost wood) and it shrunk. His excuse was that leather never comes back the same after a cleaning treatment. I would have appreciated it if he ACTUALLY DISCLOSED the risk at the time I dropped off my items. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. I suggest going to another cleaner. Unfortunately, this same cleaner lost the hood and belt of my jacket. He claims they NEVER lose anything...right. Apparently they don't make mistakes and he would not admit that he may have inadvertently may attached them to another customer's items. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. When I called to complain, the lady who works for him said she would call me back. No call from her for days. I went to the cleaner and spoke to the gentleman, he said he would call me back and I asked him to review his camera history. No call for days.
