After about 3-4 uses the hem came off and when I asked if there's any kind of guarantee on their work the man at the cashier said with a snotty demeanor "this isn't a car dealership we don't do warranty". AGGRESSIVE AND VIOLENT! My poor mom only wanted to have my father's suit dry cleaned for a special event this weekend and ended up leaving almost in tears. The owner's name is Chung, and he treated my mother so horribly. He asked for her number to look for her in the system and after she tried to explain twice that she is a new customer, he grabbed my father's suit from the counter and threw it to the floor and ordered her to pick it up. My mother was stunned and refused to be humiliated so she told him, that he ought to pick up her husband's suit from the floor and be a gentleman or she'd call the police. At this point, he leaned towards her face from across the counter and yelled at her, " Call the police, I will never be a gentleman to a woman like YOU, pick up your clothes and GET OUT!" I've been coming here for years and the service is always good and friendly. They are friendly family owned business. My first or second experience with them they lost a silk pocket square of mine. For a pocket square it was fairly expensive. Without skipping a beat he apologized a lot and offered to pay me for it - I told him mistakes happen and to give me a credit for future cleanings. He was appreciative of the resolution. I was appreciative of how he handled the situation. I've gotten my clothes cleaned here for years and it always comes out great - any issues with stains I point out and they get them out every time. I had a few things altered and it came out fantastic. They have a well run business but what makes them or anyone a 5 star business is how they handle mistakes and customer service issues - everyone looks good when things are going well... how you respond to issues is what separates the good from bad and the good from the great. read more

I don't think this place deserves any stars! Went in to pickup my clothes and the owner Cheng, started off being rude without a reason. He promises a time but doesn't keep it. Makes people come back later. Word of advice Cheng, give the honest pickup time not a range between a few hours that doesn't make any sense. When I calmly asked, he raised his voice and even cursed at me, "shut the fuck up!" Is that how you treat customers. I never once used foul language until he started cursing at me. We've been going here for years but will never go back again. He's rude and just upset with life in general. He said he's trying to survive here. Very disappointed with my alterations experience. I've had a number of clothes cleaned here and never had a problem. They had been affordable/good price w the cleanings and generally friendly and professional. With alterations, forget it. I was polite, waited my turn, then even offered another customer go ahead of me because I needed to try some dresses on for alterations. The guy at the counter helping customers was quite impatient and curt with me. He said that if he were to alter one of the dresses it would "look retarded". Word for word, I kid you not. I probably should've just left but went ahead with my other dress. I was charged $20 for a simple 1-2 inches off the bottom hem of the dress which was more than half of what I even paid for the dress. I've never paid that much for that kind of alteration. I used to love this place because of service, quality, and price. Sadly, the quality has decreased and I will not be returning my clothes here for dry cleaning. The last two times I have taken clothing items with white in them, came back discolored. The white parts in the clothing items came back off white/yellowish. I'm not sure what all the bad reviews are about. I never met the old owners but I've had no problems with the current management. They always do a great job, ready on time and the prices are great. I always bring a ton of my husband's clothes and we've never had a problem. First of all, I am a consistent visitor of Eco Cleaners. At least once a week, I bring in the 3 dress shirts I wear on rotation, my white coat and sometimes my suits. Not once have I had a bad experience or low quality result. Every time I pick up my clothes, the clothes looks brand new, as if I had just bought it from the store. Now what makes Eco Cleaners stand out from your other dry cleaners is the customer service. Chan, the owner, takes his time to get to know you. After a couple of visits, the staff starts recognizing you by name. The feeling you get when you enter a well-run small business if unmatched; it makes you feel special, comfortable, trustworthy and instead of a dry cleaners, I feel like I am going to say hi to a friend. So what happens when a business decides that being miserly and avaricious is better than offering a good service at a reasonable price? Well, they lose a loyal customer. I have been a customer since Eco Cleaners opened and have enjoyed their 99 cent shirt deal. Bring in a dry clean item and get a shirt or shirts done for a buck. Great deal. Good service. So I do understand businesses need to continue to evolve to make a profit, so when the deal went to 2 dry clean items for the buck-a-shirt offer, I bellied up, but this last visit I was told that my shirts were "oversized" and didn't qualify for the special. Really? I am a big guy so my shirts range from XL to XXL but this was the first time this ever happened. No where on the large ad next to the door does it mention anything about "oversized" clothes, never had this been a policy before, never have I been spoken too in such a condescending, patronizing way as I was this day. I think I spoke to the owner (a man I have never interacted with previously) who is incredibly short on people skills. Rude is the word--not ever a problem I have had here before. All in all, if you want to make a buck, then charge the prices you think the market can bear, don't change policy midstream for loyal customers and tell me after 2 years that I have been being charged wrong all along. Don't all of a sudden hide in your promotions hidden fees to make the extra buck. What you end up doing is losing a devoted customer who will now launder elsewhere, even if I need to pay a little more (the rudeness was enough for me). I brought in a pair of pants that I had thought I picked up from this cleaners (I always go to this cleaners) and asked them to check out the zipper, ever since I picked up, won't zip up or down, it's stuck. He, the owner, Mr Chang, looked at the sticker tag and notices it was a different color, said it's not there's and that I didn't pick up from them. Said I was confused. He was so rude and unpleasant, raising his voice at me, very unprofessional and in front of other clients, so embarrassing to be treated this way. I told him I wasn't accusing him of anything, I solely asked kindly if he can just check it out. My mistake for asking. But to be unpleasant and unkind, uncalled for. Wow, 50% off for their grand opening? .99 for shirts, 3.00 for jackets, and 2.00 for pants! I thought maybe they'd do a subpar job for that low a price but my clothes came back clean and nicely pressed. They also did a great job sewing my daughter's Girl Scout patches on and hemmed some of my jeans. I think they have the cleaner, greener machines which is nice too. Thought I would try this place out and disappointed with how my shirts turned out. Gave them another try thinking whoever did the pressing had a bad day, however, same result. My first time visiting this place for dry cleaning two suits and two additional slacks ($14.60/six pcs). The turn around time was reasonable (I did not ask for rush service). The staff is friendly and the pricing is reasonable. The best part is this location uses hydrocarbon cleaning which is mostly recaptured and not released into the atmosphere. This means less carbon impact and less toxic fumes all over your garments. I have been taking my laundry to this place for quiet sometime, and never had any issues as far as customer service was concerned. But today the guy at the counter was extremely rude.When I told him that they have been washing my duvet for a certain price for so many months , he had an audacity to tell me that I might be bargaining like crazy with other people working there to give me that price , and refused to wash it for that amount. He was rude and in the end while printing the reciept he asked me that the amount is high for all the items, so do I intend to pay or should he not bother to print the receipt. This place is only getting one star because I'm forced to choose one. I took 3 dresses, two of which are brand new from Nordstrom and urban outfitters, and a brand new urban outfitters jacket that had been worn twice to dinners. I picked my second dry cleaned items up today and I decided to take them all out of their bags and hang them. One of my dresses is missing a button and seems to have been discolored in a few spots, my jacket appears tattered with pieces of thread pulled out in odd places and one very obvious tear on the very front of it. My last dress still has its stains on the Front! but now they're the color of a dark honey, was it burned or splashed with something I have no idea. I'll be by eco cleaners. I had a pretty decent run at this cleaners. Never any issues with dry cleaning, broken buttons or failed alterations. However, I recommend paying cash. I was double charged for my alterations. They had a faulty machine and had me pay via credit and then again via debit. The owner said to bring the receipt and if I had any issues they would fix it. When I came back, they didn't want to give me cash back and wanted to credit my account instead. Fine. When I brought in more items (like I do regularly), he didn't even mention that I had credit on my account. Do you just want to keep collecting my money? When I called him out on it, he claimed that he spoke to the credit card company and the charges had already been reversed. I told him, if that's true, why didn't he call me and tell me? I didn't have the time to research it on my cell phone right then and there. I'm there to pick up my cleaners and go. In the end, they ended up honoring the credit after some back and forth but he made it seem like he was doing ME a favor. He said, "you got your credit and we won't charge you this time, it's okay..." Something like that. When I got home, I researched to see if I did in fact get refunded and if he truly did do me a favor. Nope. I still had both charges on my account. Did they just try to lie to me? Hmmmm... read more

If I could give negative or zero stars, I would. The lady that does alterations is HORRIBLE. I've taken in a jacket for very simple (so I thought) corrections to my wristbands, replacing velcro. It took her three times to get it, just ok. I gave up and accepted it. Then I thought I'd try one more time with another item. Again, a simple (so I thought) velcro change. She (I don't know her name) could not get it right. I still need it fixed and will go back as soon as I get a day off. After this, it WILL BE THE LAST TIME I use them. Of course, it might help if she actually spoke and understood English. I would not recommend this place for alterations. Their other services, I can't comment on. And the prices for what I've had done are too high, in my opinion. Since she never quoted me a price in the beginning, I will accept responsibility for that. But this place is HORRIBLE.
