I had a very unpleasant experience here due to the owner's behavior. I parked in a spot in front of the business that had no sign or indication it was reserved. The owner ran outside, immediately put up a board claiming the spot was his, and started screaming at me, repeatedly telling me I "better move my car." The way he spoke to me was extremely rude, aggressive, and disrespectful. This was completely unacceptable and uncalled for. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Based on alterations only because I haven't had a chance to drop off dry cleaning. I had pants to get hemmed and called them bright and early to see if they could do same day services. Places want at least a couple days sometimes a week lately. Could be because they have someone come in for alterations once a week or something. Anyways the gentleman was like yes come in so I drove over with a quickness and dropped the pants off. I actually had a nail appointment nearby so swung by even though they had said to come back at 4pm. It wasn't ready but he was like come back after 3 so I gained an hour. Coolio. Picked up pants. Warning! If you value your linens or clothes don't bring them to this place. They will come back worse than when you dropped them off. Not only that, but if you ask the man who runs the place to redo them, he laughs in your face and tells you there is nothing he will do to fix it and will not give you your money back. I have also heard this from other people in the community. My neighbor brought her comforter to them and it came back wrinkled with a fowl odor that wasn't there before. He told her the same thing, that there is nothing he can do. When she suggested a refund he got out of control and lashed out at her and her daughter. I don't know how they can stay in business with this kind of attitude. Basically crooks in my opinion. I will never patronize this business again. read more

All around awesome people! Called at 5pm on a Friday night to see if we could get a dress shirt and slacks pressed quickly for a Saturday wedding and they told us to come right in. It was done in an hour and he even removed some spots from the shirt! He went above and beyond and the price was ridiculously low. I highly recommend! read more

Mr. Kim knows his customers. I don't even need to give him my name anymore when I drop off and pick up my dry cleaning. It's great to have your local business owners like Mr. Kim know you and how you like your orders done. We've been using J&J cleaners for many years now. We switched after Albertson's cleaners was returning shirts dirtier than they arrived (greasy hangers I guess from the conveyor belt). He also recommended the right level of starch for shirts and spot cleans perfectly. read more

Okay - the owner is like the Soup Nazi, but he has some kind of secret magic that removes almost any stain. I tend to spill a lot, so I've tested him on many occasions with stains on clothes I've already washed and dried a couple of times. The only time I ever got him to crack a smile was when I expressed amazement over one of these feats -- a white jacket on which I'd spilled red wine that I tried to wash out, then left it in a hot car for 2 weeks! read more

All my stuff always comes back looking fly (great)! I can always count on my stuff being on time when I need it. The cleaning job is the best, some smells & stains just stay in clothes, but this place can get it out! He has plenty of regulars, who always compliment him on his good job. I've had no luck in the past with dry cleaners. The last before J & J was the worst. I lost hope looking for the perfect cleaners, until my dear friend introduced me to J & J. So I gave it a try ( I thought I had nothing to lose). OMG!!! A miracle! All my stained clothes was stain free.( they were old and tough stains) I also love that the owner really listens to me. For example, if I don't want creases in my pants, it's never there. Now for the bonus. Alterations! Always done as directed with perfection! I have so much more to say but I have to go now. I live about an hour away from chino hills but this is the only dry cleaners I trust and I don't think I'll be looking for a new cleaner as long as I live around here. read more

The quality of this place is poor. They are usually timely but I wouldn't recommend J&J.

I have been using J&J Dry Cleaning for my cleaning and alteration services over many years. I find their service to be reliable, quick, and efficient. If I need something done in a day they are always accommodating. Once, I even needed a pair of slacks hemmed and pressed by that afternoon. I dropped them off at noon and they were ready for me in a few short hours. Always friendly and quick to serve. I have had my DIL's wedding gown preserved and packaged here for a reasonable cost. Because I am on the shorter side regarding height, I nearly always have to have my business clothes altered and they get it right every time! Although the owner can be quite "expressive" at times, what won me over was the little Asian lady that does the alterations. She did an AMAZING job on all of my clothes. I've taken thick and heavy jackets for the winter and something as fixing the length of a very expensive nba jersey. She takes great care of all clothes and they come back fitting exactly how I described them to be. read more

I've taken dry cleaning there before and had very good service but the last time I went was to get a button down dress shirt cleaned and pressed. It came back badly wrinkled. I asked the man to do a better job and he tried again with an iron on a thickly padded ironing board. He couldn't get any wrinkles out. When I asked if he had any other equipment to use he said he didn't and my problem was that I bought a cotton shirt. He said no one can get wrinkles out of cotton shirts. I told him I can at home and he just shrugged his shoulders and said he couldn't. I'm looking for a new place that can press cotton. read more
