The team members we worked with deserve individual recognition: Brandan came out first to rule out any active plumbing leaks. Once he confirmed the mold wasn't plumbing-related, he kindly offered to inspect the rest of our new home's plumbing. He caught a few minor issues, explained his recommendations clearly, and provided no-pressure quotes. We are so relieved to finally have a trustworthy plumber on speed dial! He then immediately looped in their mold specialist, Ruben. Ruben arrived the very same day to assess the mold and provide a fair quote. I received a very reasonable quote within an hour and when I called back to schedule an appointment, he answered the phone and scheduled the installation within a few days. The morning of appointment I received a text msg, indicating ETA for his arrival. He and his co-worker did a great job installing over 13" of insulation in our garage attic! He took before and after pictures of our attic. The inside temperature of our garage feels much better now. This is a small owner-operated business who knows how to take care of their customers. A couple even came by to look at the job site and make recommendations about the type of installation they thought I needed. After talking to four or five firms, Milton from Izzy's insulation reached out to me and made the most practical recommendation based on my unique situation. We ended up going with a blown in fiberglass insulation of R 38 and 13 inches. His price was the best by a few bucks, but I particularly liked his practical recommendations, and so ended up using him. He booked me out a week later and showed up exactly on time and had the job done in just a couple hours. He even provided me with before and after pictures that I can use when I submit my taxes for an energy tax credit. Very straightforward and honest service I recommend if you're looking for installation to talk to him at least. As it ended up the insulation did basically nothing to help with the temperature in my garage. If others are looking to do the same thing, I tell you to look at a combination of insulation for your ceiling, walls if needed, and the inside of your garage door these metal garage doors really radiate a lot of heat into the garage.
