We set a date (07/06/26) for the replacement and what I thought was a fair negotiated price ($250), it really ended not being a fair price at all. Paco initially wanted $280, I negotiated with him to $250. Even at $250 he was higher than all others by $50-$100 more. I asked him if I could use my credit card, he said yes but there would be 4% surcharge. I didn't agree with that, so I asked if he could wave that, he reluctantly agreed. So, date and price was set. Come Monday 07/06/26, he claims his credit card service isn't working, so I agreed to a Zelle payment. Our appointment was for Monday (07/06/26 at 11:30; not only did his credit card service not work according to him, but he continued to change his arrival time. He texted me he was running behind on 07/06/26 and now would arrive no later than 12:30. By this time I'm seeing many red flags. I called him @ 11:46 on 07/06/26 to verify with him that he would arrive no later than 12:30 and was still intact. While confirming his 12:30 time, now he tells me 1 O'clock and blames me for his late arrival because I called to verify the time. During our conversation on the phone he kept interrupting me, talking over me, telling me I was upset that I couldn't use my credit card (furthest from the truth), and that I set the price for the job and so forth. I told him, I no longer needed his services, he was rude and not accommodating or respectful of my time and needs. Who wants to invite someone to their home after a terrible text and phone conversation, NO THANK YOU! To say the least, he wasn't given the job. Be careful who you hire people.

Perfect Garden Services and another top rated one (Both with Yelp Guaranteed) The other one had more reviews and verified business badge. Sadly the other's quote was at least TWICE as high so it was a no brianer I picked PGS. Very easy to schedule (all done via Yelp messaging) Just note they do not accept Credit Card (seems a lot of businesses don't now and days) So keep that in mind before booking their services. Gave me a time time when they would be there and showed up right on time (within the range) PGS has a crew of 3 total and they worked fast (for the amount of work they needed to do) The job still took them about 4-5 hours and they took care of everything (including any trash) When they're done, a lot of photos were taken (since I wasn't on-site at the time) Very happy with their service and the price was great for what they had to do. When it was windy, the branches would hit the roof and create a horrible noise. A couple of landscapers had left their cards on our door, so I initially called one of them. He said he would be there the very next morning; however, he never showed up. He then called and said he would come the following morning--and again, never showed up. At that point, my husband Tom submitted a quote request on Yelp, and Mizrain was one of the first to respond. He was also the most prompt and thorough when answering our questions. Mizrain provided a very competitive quote and was able to come out the same day to trim our tree. He arrived on time, immediately greeted me with a handshake, and provided his business card before getting right to work. He and his team took their time while working very efficiently. They were extremely careful to ensure that no branches fell on or damaged the house and frequently stepped back to assess the tree as a whole to make sure it looked balanced after trimming. I am extremely impressed with Mizrain and his team's work. They went above and beyond to make the tree look great and full while still removing a significant amount of overgrowth. I was initially worried it would look bare or dead, but it looks amazing. They also thoroughly cleaned the entire area, removing not only large branches but also small twigs. They even blew away dust and picked up trash that had blown into our front yard, which was greatly appreciated and not expected. Overall, this was a wonderful experience, and I would absolutely work with Mizrain again in the future. I would highly recommend him to friends and family.

We explained that we wanted a low-maintenance outdoor space that felt clean, modern, and sophisticated. About a week later, Evan sent us a design image created by their in-house designer. Evan was also the one who recommended the white decorative rock, which makes the patio feel brighter and more spacious, as well as the gray multicolored pavers for the area where we planned to install our pergola. We happened to have very similar tastes, but more than anything, we were truly impressed by his excellent sense of design. His recommendations helped bring our vision to life. The project was originally scheduled to take three days, but the entire job was completed in just a day and a half! The entire crew was incredibly professional. They worked with incredible speed and efficiency, and the finished work was absolutely perfect. We were especially impressed by Nicco, the manager, and the entire crew. Watching them work so hard in the intense heat, with such dedication and professionalism, truly made us appreciate their efforts. We also received estimates from three other companies. The other companies told us that a design image would cost $500, but this company provided ours free of charge. We were also told by other companies that we would need additional drainage pipes. After carefully examining our patio area, Evan confidently told us that they were not necessary, which helped us avoid an unnecessary expense. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and trustworthy. They sincerely listened to our wishes and questions and gave us honest, professional advice. Because of that, we felt completely comfortable leaving the project in their hands. Now, one of our favorite things to do is simply look at our patio throughout the day. Southwest Lawnscape did a great job cleaning up and pruning our front yard last year. The crew was professional, arrived when they said they would, and completed the work efficiently. The owner checked in with me in real time to make sure everything had been done to my standards. The pruning looked excellent, but I noticed a few stubborn leaves had not been fully blown out. After I mentioned it, the owner immediately sent the crew back, and they thoroughly cleaned out the remaining leaves. They collected all the debris, hauled everything away, and left the yard looking great. The price was also very fair. I will absolutely use Southwest Lawnscape again.

The first red flag was them taking payment before the job was done and then leaving without letting us know they were "done". We wanted the weeds pulled but instead they weed whacked the weeds down but didn't even do a great job with that. They also weed whacked the fuck out of my aloe plant that I had out front. It looks like they intentionally mutilated my plants and it's frustrating when we are getting written up and hire someone to do a job and it looks worse then before. Usually landscaping companies will make sure that trash is cleaned up as well as leaves but that was not included. They were supposed to come out on Monday but they never showed up. I had a ton of dead weeds that I had been trying to kill with weed killer & pull up but it was just too much for me. Armando showed up when he said he would & even gave me an ETA the morning of after me asking if that was possible. He greeted me by my name, was smiling, nice & very friendly. It also helped that he was bilingual & also spoke English as I barely know much Spanish...lol He was able to tell me what could be done & gave me a quote. I also asked about weekly & biweekly landscaping services to be able to keep up on the clean up. Luckily his company is in the area every Monday servicing others. We agreed on a price & he told me he had to check his schedule & would get back to me later that day with a day & time. Which he did & I had a 2 man crew show up the next morning. The men were nice but didn't speak English (not a problem because they already knew what needed to be done). They got right to work. It took them about 2.5hrs to get my yard looking fabulous! They did such an amazing job especially with this annoying tree from my next door neighbor's house that hangs over into my yard & is constantly dropping dead leaves & berries into my yard which end up in my pool & just makes a mess all around. I can't wait to see what a difference this should make. The only issues that I have was the mess that was left in my pool from the clean up, a bush that Armando said they would just remove that wasn't (they did trim it) & some weeds/grass by my back gate that weren't gotten rid of. Not a big deal due to the phenomenal job that was done with the rest of the yard & I can clean up the pool & hopefully dig up the small amt. of grass/weeds left by the gate. I had left the men to do their job & wasn't out in the yard watching over them. If you're looking for a reasonable, reliable, hard working, on-time & communicative landscaping crew that's going to do a great job then this company is your guy!
