Show up to my dental cleaning 10 minutes late and told they cannot see me today. Do you know how many times I have had to wait for them due to their morning staff meetings running over, the dentist dealing with another patient. I have been to that dentist office over 20 times in the past couple of years and have not been late. But one time I'm late and can't see me. No grace given to me at all. Also note it was pouring raining and I got stuck behind a bunch of traffic which I told them. Last year at my dental cleaning the hygenist was so slow and the doctor got behind that I was there for a cleaning for over 2 hours. I was having to cancel work meetings. Did they care, no. But I show up 10 minutes late and am told they have to reschedule me after I drove in the pouring rain and blocked my work schedule. Take into account your patient. I get it if someone is a habitually late person, but I am not. I am the one sitting in the waiting room. Take into account weather situations and know when you want to prioritize your patients safety over being exactly on time. I get they have a schedule to keep but seriously the time could have been made up. And to note there was nothing in the reminders which I got a ton of via phone call, via text and via email that said if you are X minutes late you will be rescheduled. Again truly disappointed that after all the times I have been there, all the thousands of dollars spent that one time they have no regard for my situation and try to accomodate me. 0 stars for this.

Due to my severe adversity to Dentists, I didn't have a patient connection to a Dentist that I could contact to take care of this problem. I ended up researching some Dentists in my area and found many great reviews for Coal Mountain Dental Care and Dr. Jindal. I left an after-hours voice mail only to receive a call about an hour later. Even though I understood that the office didn't have an opening for two weeks, the office scheduler understood my predicament and had me in the office within a short period of time. Long story short, from the minute I walked my overly anxious self through the door the entire staff couldn't have been more friendly, professional and relaxing. Dr. Jindal is amazing with a fun sense of humor and a calming professional way about her and her assistants couldn't have been any more pleasant or accommodating. ALL AMAZING! Here's the most amazing part of all of this; I had a molar extracted, bone graft and a couple of stiches on my first visit. I was told that I wouldn't need prescription pain medication, but that I could alternate Advil and Tylenol if I experienced any discomfort in the days to come. I am going on my forth day post extraction and have had ZERO pain or discomfort. I honestly can not believe it...and I've taken ZERO Advil or Tylenol. I'm not sure what kind of sorcery they're using in that office, but I now consider myself no longer adverse to Dental visits and am looking forward to being a regular and consistent patient of Coal Mountain Dental Care for the years to come! Seriously, an unexpected amazingly great experience for a situation that could've been severely miserable.

We started seeing him before he joined Lanier Dental Partners, and we followed him there. We all go every 6 months for a cleaning, even during Covid. My children sat in my wife's lap as babies so they wouldn't grow up scared of the dentist. There has also been the occasional dental emergency. EVERY TIME we paid immediately after the appointment was over. For twenty years we have lived at the same address and had the same phone number. Dr Palmer recently retired and I am not very happy with Dr. Patel, his replacement. Recently, every time we go, they insist we fill out a medical history form, even if nothing has changed. The last time I went in for an appointment it was the same thing but then, the woman at the desk asked for a copy of my Driver's License. Remember, for twenty years we pay as soon as the appointment is over and we've lived in the same house. They really have no need to ask for my Driver's License. I decided we would just find another dentist and cancelled all our upcoming appointments. Now, they can legally ask for my Driver's License. However there is a lot of identity theft going on in the world. If hackers can breach large companies like AT&T, Equifax, Visa etc., how easy is it to breach Lanier Dental Partners? I would not advise anyone to have their Drivers License copied unless you have to for insurance reasons. I am in the finance business and 4 or 5 times a year we hear from our clients that someone stole their I.D. Businesses like Lanier Dental Partners have a policy in place that makes your identity accessible. I would think twice before you hand over that information. On February 7, Dr Patel sent me a Certified Letter "firing" us from her practice because I refused to give them my license. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this practice. They only want to check the boxes and have forgotten they are dealing with real people. The letter from Dr. Patel is just one more example. I would have never done this review, but Dr. Patel just went too far. P.S. He said he could fix it if he could get the posts out. He used something that hammered like a mini jackhammer. After 3 hrs. of hammering, he finally got them out. He looked at his assistant and said, "it won't work." He walked out without saying a word to me. His assistant walked out without a word and came back with about a 5,000 dollar estimate for a four tooth bridge. I paid 300 dollars for the vibration, plus 90 dollars for the initial visit. I left and the next day a four tooth bridge in the top rear fell out because it was loosened by the vibrations. Now after several years of barely being able to eat one of the broken teeth from the vibrations is abscessed and I am searching for somewhere to get relief.
