What was most impressive (especially to my wife) is GMK booked us in a resort not publicly listed right off the beach in Waikiki. Being our first time in Hawaii, it was perfect. Everything we wanted and needed (restaurants, groceries, activities) were in walking distance. GMK also recommended tourist spots and activities to enjoy on our trip. From the direct flight fm Sacramento to Honolulu, the car rental, and the resort, GMK made everything easy. GMK took away the headaches and made the process hassle-free....and did I mention saving me $$$? Highly recommend GMK!

But this woman didn't turn down one cent and then had the audacity to charge me for extra packages not realizing it's a new month, fraudulently! After 4 extra packages she charges a fee. I didn't get 4 packages in the time frame she decided to charge me for after her greed has already had $80 more than she earned given to her from me, just showing support and being authentically kind. If I could get a refund I'd get the hell away from this kind of person in which is a greedy individual. KARMA don't care who you are. God knows my intentions and so does he know hers. I'd suggest to stay away from this place she appears nice but one of the greediest people I've ever seen. Can't wait till I don't have to use her services but be ware of undercover smiles that's nothing but a greedy individual just waiting to rip you off in some kind of way. She never told me I had to pay for the printing and pay for dropping here. She also refused to give me a receipt. Overall horrible experience and rude woman here. She seems like a real dishonest scam artist.

I made one claim in 2007. And they dropped me like a rock for home insurance on August 1st because of my ZIP Code. There is absolutely no loyalty. You are only a means to a financial gain to them. They don't care one iota how loyal you've been to them. And then they had the audacity to contact me if I wanted Earthquake Insurance a week after dropping my Home Insurance. You might pay your premiums, you might RARELY make a claim (if ever), you might have a loyalty card that says 88 year member if you signed up under your parents, and they signed up under their parents - but it won't matter for a second if you don't fit into their financial equation of how to profit. You are 100% there to benefit them, not the other way around. So don't pay their steep prices, and don't fool yourself into thinking you have a "relationship" with them, because all you have is money they want.

The Volaris representative kept looking at her phone before helping us, along with at least 6 other passengers, all with different situations, and they didn't do anything to provide us with a solution. In the end, we were stuck. They gave us a flight the next day, but it cost $4,100 pesos .And right now they've scheduled me for 4:00 a.m., and my new flight leaves at 7:01 a.m., and we still don't have a gate. Terrible service.

They were able to facilitate complimentary early check-in as well. In short, the service was very good and everyone at the front desk was super helpful and accomodating. Apparently there's some sketchy areas nearby if you walk to Old Town through a very weird direction (you should actually cross the street and go through the underground passage). Location is convenient, the prices are SUPER affordable, and it's just overall nice and cozy. Complimentary breakfast was also nice and easy. Had a very pleasant stay and would likely stay here again the next time I'm in this part of San Diego!

The staff is always welcoming, the house keeping staff are friendly and trustworthy, the parking lot is gated and secured by a guard throughout the day, the rooms are always clean the grounds are well maintained, and after all the years of being loyal visitors, we have yet to experience anything negative at this property. I love that the grounds are secure and you can allow your children to go into the courtyard area and play the provided games with peace of mind- knowing that they'll be safe. They provide tons of outdoor seating options and grills for tenants, which makes cooking a breeze. In order to enter from the beach/boardwalk, you must have a room key to enter the premises- another awesome perk. This keeps all the riff-raft out of the area. &At night, they also require a room key to enter through the front of the building- which is a newer feature, and much appreciated. You can leave your beach toys & chairs outside your room without worrying about someone coming to steal it. We have locked our bikes up downstairs in the courtyard area & nobody messes with them. This is such a great place to stay & an amazing tradition that our family has. We look forward to our visit every May!

It's hard to imagine a better location for a hotel in Del Mar. It was right on the beach as…read moreadvertised, tons of active beach goers, surfers, dog walkers, joggers, teens at lifeguard school, you name it -- all sorts of active lifestyles without it feeling too crowded. The parking lot isn't huge so the first night we had to park in the metered lot next door, but they reimburse you for any parking fees. I was however able to find parking the next two days. They even gave me a courtesy call saying they noticed my car in the other lot and to remind me to move it by a specific time. I had already set my alarm to move it, but that was nice. The lobby has free coffee/ espresso machine and a dispenser for purified water. They provide beach towels and efficient room service. The rooms themselves are pretty comfortable, but we had someone above us that walked back and forth non stop which was a bit annoying. I mean it's just one room and a bathroom how much walking do you need to do lol. When you go out your door, you just walk a down the little walkway to the beach. Everyone is barefoot it's so close. They have little areas to rinse off your feet and also a brush hanging outside your door handle to brush the excess sand off, cute touch. The beach viewing lounge area (pictured) is nice, people hang out there and drink their coffee or work on their laptops. I had one suggestion, and that would be to build a platform deck for the back seats, because it would give them an unobstructed view. As it is now, the wall blocks some of your view, but putting a platform deck would solve that and be relatively inexpensive to do. So since they were taking me for dinner at nearby Jake's, my girlfriend offered me the empty room for the night so I didn't have to drive in the dark and also enjoy a beautiful morning doing my 10,000 steps while simultaneously meditating and recording an episode of my podcast in Spanish. I loved the room super spacious and with everything I needed (even if the coffee machine did not work for me). Being right there by the beach was a total treat. I feel loved by my friends, especially since I have not been out of San Diego since past September for budget reasons doing multiple jobs at the time. So I appreciate this generosity and being at Del Mar Beach hotel as it is one of my favorite beaches and brings so much joy. The decor in the small lobby is very surfer, cool vibe. Similar inside the room. The restaurant does not have restaurant for breakfast but they offer free coffee and you can buy simple sweets (although there are plenty of options to eat nearby). We chose to pay for on-site parking, and I highly recommend it. Parking in Pacific Beach can be challenging, so having a guaranteed parking spot made our trip completely stress-free. We originally booked a partial ocean view room, but to our surprise, the front desk upgraded us to a full oceanfront room at no charge! They explained that they randomly select a few guests each day for complimentary perks such as room upgrades, free parking, or late checkout. We felt so lucky and truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and are modern, clean, and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great, the refrigerator was convenient, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. It's the perfect boutique beach hotel with an upscale feel while still being relaxed and comfortable. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. A relaxing beach retreat shouldn't require a first-aid kit. Then there's the humidity...the kind that makes your clothes feel like they went swimming without you. The air inside the room is basically ocean soup, and everything smells faintly of wet flip-flops. Be prepared to wash every piece of your clothing, whether or not you wore it on vacation. The bathroom features a stylish sliding barn door, which is a great design choice if you've always wanted to share your most private moments with your travel companion. His excuse was that we booked too soon he needed much more time in advance. By this time we are looking at our trip to be roughly $10,000 for flying coach too, not even business class. Extremely livid at this point! Well, on the touring company "Charming Holidays" website and the brochure he handed me and my wife it clearly is written they leave every Mon, Thurs, Sat. Furthermore, this is not what he initially informed us. If this is the case then why did you quoted us the prices and worked out the whole flying schedule and touring package, and the price with us? Be warned: Vi, his business style is to pressure you into giving him your passports so he can save your spot immediately and then he will charge you a lot more once he knows you are interested. As for doing the Visa you can do it yourself online. Don't let him scare you by saying it is very hard to do it yourself and there are frauds online. Make sure you go to the government website and save yourself $200 per person in comparison to what he charges you (which is outrageous). He has no people skills what so ever...always trying to rush you on the phone and hang up when the conversation has not ended. He will try to convince you to travel to somewhere else instead of the country you wanted to go to. This place deserve a "zero" star not even 1 star review.

He coordinated a private custom tour for my family of 3 in Shanghai in which my tour guide Jesse was amazing. We booked our vacation of a lifetime through an agent associated with Cadence Travel. We did not…read moreexperience the so called as they advertise any "world class white glove care" for a very expensive trip. While on the cruise we heard from multiple people that their travel agent got them ship credits, free beverage package, and or there was a gift basket in their room. We received nothing and instead had an agent that even forgot to remind us that we had to book our own airline seats no assistance from travel agency or agent. This resulted in the worst seats we've ever had in our international travels. Nor did we receive any welcome gift or as We were celebrating a couple special occasions- birthday and retirement. Again as Cadence website purports "to take care of the Client". In addition, we were told several untrue things. One of those was having to check in for a river cruise by 3:00 p.m. costing us time to explore the originating city. All in all, the river cruise was a wonderful time but we absolutely gained nothing by using a travel agent and do not recommend this travel agency- Cadence Travel.

TBH, I'm not a customer, but a booking agent I know complained to me about an agent with Cadence. I…read moredon't know what's going on with this Steve guy, but he seems to not understand that when he's booking international travel, he needs to get passport information, destination locations, and actually make an effort to get all of the pertinent information from customers before booking a trip. Furthermore, he made his lack of adequate preparation the booking agent's problem, which I find completely unprofessional. If travel agencies are having difficulty competing with online travel options, then it would be a good idea to have a staff which exhibits exemplary professionalism. That means being courteous and patient with the people who are working with us.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this travel agency while applying for a China…read morevisa. I realized I needed my passport to come back to the US after a cruise so I contacted the owner and made an appointment for FedEx to pick up my passport while we were waiting in a Canada hotel. Unfortunately, the agency missed the scheduled FedEx pickup. After we begged the owner had an employee take my passport to a nearby FedEx location. What happened next was the most upsetting part of the experience. While we were in the process of paying the FedEx shipping charges, the owner told us that unless we paid an additional $80 for the employee to deliver the package to FedEx, he would not release it for shipping. Since my passport was urgently needed for international travel, I felt I had no real choice. This situation was stressful, unprofessional, and completely avoidable. We had originally planned to use this agency for future visa and travel services, but after this experience, we will never do business with them !

I went in to renew my China visa and it was the easiest experience I could have imagined!…read moreDefinitely way more straightforward (and noticeably cheaper) than any of the online services that populate Google, and the turnaround time was super fast. They double checked my visa application with me and sent me on my way, saying it would be ready for pick up in 2-3 weeks. 10 days later it was already good to go! Thanks for making a daunting seemingly daunting process so easy!
