Jose is prompt, courteous and professional. They arrived on time, he explained the process, offered suggestions and allowed me to decide on the finish color. A fan with an exhaust shaft was put out the window to remove as much of the fumes as possible. A reminder tape was put across the door. My old scarred tub was refinished by 2 equally courteous men in a couple of hours. It's not cheap, but I hope I'll find it worth the price. He took my call late in the evening, told me exactly what I could expect in the re-finish process, and gave me a quote for re-finishing my tub and repairing missing tile grout. We scheduled a day and time, and Jose showed up right on schedule. He and Jorge completed the work in around four hours. Then Jose reviewed care procedures and processed my credit card payment on his mobile device. What more can you ask? Terrible, unprofessional treatment of women and Mexican clients. This group will promise you the moon, make a firm appointment, and then call you two hours early, during a meeting, to say "Hey, we're at your house. Why aren't you here??" When we called back to say that we had agreed to a later time. We we rudely told, "We're canceling if you can't be here when we are!" Austin may be booming, but not to that extent. These guys are terrible! I booked an appt weeks in advance and they called the day prior to confirm they would be there at "around 9am". Since it was a rental property, I had to drive over from Dripping Springs to let them in. Then they called at 9:10 to say "it will be more like 10am". I explained that I would be late to work and that I could not wait that long. Then they said, "well then let's just cancel the job!" I first attempted to maintain my composure to just get the job completed on behalf of my tenants but these two guys..Will & Jose started whining about my attitude about the whole thing and just wanted to sit on the phone and jab about the mid-understanding about the meeting time, rather than get their butts in gear and get to the house quickly to start the job. In the end we elected to just cancel it with them. There are dozens of companies that do this work and I've moved on. I would suggest you do the same! read more

Excellent work and fantastic customer service! We had All Surface Renew come out and refinish an old, very beat up cast iron sink. I wish I had taken before and after pictures to show what a great job they did. After the first visit, there was a small air bubble in one side--they came right back out and looked at it and immediately offered a full refund or to redo the entire sink as soon as they had an opening. They came back and redid it at no charge and now it is perfect. I also referred them to my parents for a patch job on a bathtub. Once again, they were extremely professional, fast, and the results were excellent. Jose and his team really stand by their work. We moved into a 1950s home that was completely remodeled except for the original steal iron tub. All Surface Renew helped me get over this annoyance right from the start. If you send them a message online, they will answer you with an actual quote very quickly. If you call, they'll answer quickly. Everything is quick with Jose! ;) His crew is extremely polite and clean, also. They covered up the entire bathroom with plastic to protect all the new tile, and went to work. It was finished within an hour and a half and they were out the door! Jose even gave us a great little sheet to help us navigate the next 24 hours of the tub drying. Instant facelift! Our tub surround looks SO much better now. I'm amazed at what this product can do. Making the appointment was easy, they were on time and quick. This was a great experience with no snags. The price Jose quoted me was the price I paid. He is a super-sweet man and a hard worker. He and his assistant cleaned up after themselves and were in and out in less than 2 hours. I had 2 tubs and one shower that were brand new but yet still slippery. I called Jose and he set an appointment for about 4 days out and came out and put a non-slip surface on. He and his one man crew were courteous and went back and retouched some edges that my wife wanted straightened to her satisfaction. Many times he said if anything was wrong, please let him know and he'll take care of it immediately. He also reiterated how to best care care for the non-slip surface. I am happy. If I could, I would have given 10 stars! I was in a stressful situation, getting my rental ready for the next tenant. The tub had been done 2 years ago but something went wrong. We are trying to sell our house and the tub in our master bath looked seriously AWFUL. I would not even share the bathroom with my husband, it was so bad. We had All Surface Renew take care of it, and they did a fantastic job. They removed the doors and tracks and resurfaced the rest of the tub. It looks brand new. We also had them resurface our bathroom and kitchen counters. I was totally skeptical about doing this. I thought it seemed too good to be true, but everything looks fantastic. Out of all the work we did on the house, I think this gave us the most bang for our buck. The guys who own and work for this company are fantastic to work with too. They were polite, returned my calls, showed up and finished the project when they said they would, dealt with my mistake when I forgot to take the faucets out, etc. This kind of attitude, courtesy and work ethic goes a long way with me. I bought my house 6 years ago and had completely renovated most of it except for the kitchen. I was toying with granite, but I couldn't justify or recoup the costs if I ever sold my house. As part of my renovations, I had all the bathtubs refinished by a miracle method franchisee. They did a horrid job, despite their promises and guarantees. They attempted to cure the problems, but never got it right. Ultimately, the tubs began to chip and peel within the guarantee period. Unfortunately, the franchise went belly up and I was stuck with a substandard job. After doing some research, I emailed All surface and within 24 hours, I had a scheduled appointment for them to provide an estimate. Will arrived exactly at the specified time and gave me a very competitively priced quote for my counters and bath tubs. I did some due diligence, checked them out in more detail and then booked them for the job. The work crew led by Jose arrived EXACTLY at the scheduled time. They prepared my kitchen like a clean room, ensuring my cabinets, walls and furniture was covered. They then transformed my hideously dated green corrian counter tops into a contemporary black granite look alike. Mind you, this was no easy job since my kitchen is massive with about 36' of counter tops. They also updated the backsplash too. When the crew completed the work in the kitchen, they went on to complete the bathtub refinishing. They absolutely restored the tubs to like new condition repairing the botched miracle method job. They even put down a slip resistant surface as part of the job. The crews cleaned up, and Jose gave me special care instructions on both the tubs and the counters. I noticed a scratch a couple days later and followed up with Jose. Although he was fully booked, he squeezed me in their schedule and refinished my entire island again. But, this was not a quick fix; they used the same painstaking process of setup and prep before refinishing. Now that's what I call customer service! All in all, Jose, Will and the crew did a fantastic job. They are incredibly professional and a tremendous value. I couldn't be happier with the end results. I NEVER write reviews...so this review is a testament to how livid I am about my experience with All Surface Renew. I wish I could speak to the quality of their work (which I'm sure most people are interested in), but unfortunately, our relationship never quite got that far. I had a series of bad events with Jose, who I believe to be the owner (?) - and that, to me, is MOST unfortunate. 1) I engaged the company via email/ per their website. Jose responded quickly, while on vacation at that, and I thought, Great! This is a good sign. He requested photos of the work I needed done, to which I responded within hours. It was then that the cracks started showing...he never responded. 2) I made an allowance... figured he was probably buried in work since I knew he had recently returned from vacation...and said I'd give it up to 2 weeks. When he didn't respond, I followed up via email. After 2 days with no response, I followed up again. After yet another non-response, I gave him a call. Jose was pleasant enough, seemed somewhat scatter-brained, but well-intentioned. He said he would revisit my email, then respond with a quote within 4 hours. 3) When the quote came in. It seemed off. It sounded like he had quoted me for my master bathroom only, although the pictures I had sent (accompanied by a very detailed description of my request) included both my master & guest bathrooms. I responded to his email with a couple of clarifying questions; but -- yes, you guessed it! - got no response. 4) Again, I called him to iron my questions out. He was rather abrupt, cut me off a few times actually, but after hanging up then calling me back, admitted that he had misquoted me. He then revised his quote and sent it to me via email. I thought the price was steep, but was willing to pay for the a good job - so I didn't flinch 5) Jose then emailed me an appointment, for Tuesday the 23rd, with arrival between 9a - 10a and a call 30mins ahead of arrival. I work M - F, and am in the middle of a massive project at work - but I prioritized this appointment, and shuffled everything around so I could clear my day for this appointment. I confirmed the appointment with Jose over email, and allowed myself to get excited about the imminent tile "facelift" On the day of the appointment, I call him at 9:30a to check their arrival status. Jose doesn't even know who I am!!! Tells me he's in the middle of drafting a very important email, and has to call me back. When he calls back, he admits that he had forgotten about the appointment, and says he would do everything to "squeeze me in today and make sure the job gets done". Folks, if I'm paying you over $1000 for a paint job, the LAST thing I want is to be "squeezed in". I - very politely - expressed my disappointment in the entire experience, told him that I had taken the day off for this. In a nut-shell, Jose told me that he single-handedly fields about 200 emails /texts per day. This was the last straw for me - I told him I would take my business to a company that can better handle their workload. In summary, I found Jose to be one of those arrogant men who furnishes his rudeness with perfunctory "please"s and "my apologies" and "thank you"s! Word to the wise, actions speak louder than words...so PLEASE spare us the niceties and focus more on being a true professional. read more
