So they don't do duct work this is like selling a car and can't change tires. Got another company to check them out. When I mentioned that their website suggests otherwise and asked if she could verify with someone, she placed me on hold and returned asking for my name, company, and whether I was a third party. I explained that before providing all of my information, I just wanted confirmation that Ranck actually performs the service. Instead of answering the question, she insisted the answer was contingent on those details. I asked whether those questions had any bearing on whether the company offers the service at all, and she again stated that the answer depended on who I was. As someone calling about what could have been a significant commercial project, I found the interaction frustrating and unwelcoming. A simple, "Let me check and confirm whether we offer that service," would have gone a long way. First clue - it sounds like a freight train, which I asked about. He used the wrong square footage and installed a unit TOO BIG for our ductwork. The system short cycles and it can't push the air through. It leaked refrigerant and we had to have system charged on several occasions (Stan conveniently says it never happened - I have receipts). His contract stated 10 years part and labor but we had to replace a coil (Oct 2025) and $1500 later... system is not working again (Aug 2026). 3 companies recently came out and ALL agreed that the system is too big and NOT WORKING. NOW we need a NEW system. I am reporting him to BBB AND ATTORNEY GENERAL OF PA. Shame on him. Don't fall for his old school blah blah blah. Terrible. I am sure he will have a great response. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
