This place is amazing. They make my life easier and I greatly appreciate it. I can call and purchase over the phone and have it brought to my car in minutes so I don't have to take kids and all inside or carrying heavy food while pregnant. Always friendly. Always great at educating me on products and why they'd benefit my dog. Honest and genuine not salesy. I appreciate they take cards and cash as the impact of a cashless society can really impact the less fortunate- and I used to pay for my dog food with my tips. They also have great offers on dog teeth cleaning once a month. Highly recommend esp because you get discounts for purchasing- we get a $20 discount every few months. read more

Certainly not All The Best customer service. I usually go to the ATB closer to my home (Madison St) but was in the area so I stopped in. I was curious about water fountains so I asked the two men behind the counter for their thoughts. Ben, I think the tag said, gestured to another man for a response. He then told me about wild cat's drinking behaviors, and seemed to be getting annoyed I bothered his standing behind the counter. Not ringing people up or stocking. He then told me how if my cat eats dry food it's organs will shut down and my cat will die. At this point I'm already offended by his attitude and decide not to continue shopping and just check out with the bag of litter I brought to the counter. The past few visits I've been told I have my $20 ready to use. He didn't ask if I'd like to use it. After I paid I said "I'm pretty sure I'm at my $20" and he said yeah you just hit it. The whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth and could have been handled so much more eloquently. I respect that staff may be knowledgeable about pet diets but it's not ok to make the customer feel like an idiot. read more

I will not be a customer at this store again. I came in for some cat litter and when I asked if they could price match they said yes, so i showed them the Petco price and they said "that's the online price" despite it saying "pickup in store". The manager then made me wait while he calls the store for 5 minutes on hold - the Petco employee then gives the manager the wrong price - the manager just accepts it and hands up the phone and tells me that he Petco price is more than their price. I look at them in disbelief and walked out and headed to Petco to get my cat litter. I always try to help out smaller businesses but if they're going to jerk my time around for a 1 dollar price match - they don't deserve the business. 2 stars because the times I've come in before today they were nice. read more

I absolutely love ABPC and so does my little dude, Brutus. I work right in the area, so I often swing by here to pick up some new snacks or toys for my kid. They have high quality food and snacks that he loves, and that I feel good about feeding him. Stuff that you can't find at Petco or PetSmart. Brutus is a huge fan of the Tiki Dog chicken feasts and is obsessed with the Tucker's chicken filets they have at the counter. I just grabbed one on a whim the first time and he loved it so I keep getting them. Brutus has been dealing with some heart issues recently, so I've been coming by here more often cause it's all Brutus likes anymore. I've switched to raw food and high quality treats, which I know is good for him and he devours it. read more

I had been a customer of this All the Best for 18 years. In that 18 years, I had nothing but amazing experiences at the store until the current management took over. The current store manager and assistant manager took over the store about 1-2 years ago. IMO, they both behave in a cold and unfriendly, and often quite rude manner. It is shocking to me that All the Best has lowered their standards to include hiring and maintaining managers who behave this way! The atmosphere in this store has declined tremendously since these managers have taken over. If you wish to shop at All the Best, I highly recommend shopping at their Ballard or Stone Way locations. Although I have not been to those locations since the shut downs, ALL of my experiences at those locations have been nothing but amazing. If you want to have a positive, friendly experience shopping for your pet supplies, I don't believe you will get that here. To add, I shared this feedback when this management first took over with corporate. They thanked me for the feedback, but nothing changed. I have felt extremely disappointed in their corporate employees' responses to issues with this management team. I have seen a side to All the Best corporate that I did not know existed and it is extremely disheartening. But, the Stone Way and Ballard locations do have wonderful employees. They looked to be of sturdy construction which is nice if your pup is a destroyer of all things toy the way mine is. Woof woof! I really like this shop and come here often. They are the only place in town that sells the brand of raw goats milk that my dog likes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We've gotten food, treats, and supplements here. They had a reward card system. On my dog's birthday they gave my dog a treat bag with lots of toys and goodies. It was such a nice touch. They also have a dog cupcake, pie, and cake for your dog's birthday. My dog is so little so we got him the cupcake and he chowed down on it. read more

This is definitely a nice store with a great location next to a bakery/coffee shop! I came in here seeking a few car items and was really pleased with the cat selection. Most of the stores have a pretty limited selection for kitties. But they had plenty of canned and dry food. From the most special organic blend to the run of the mill type stuff. The toys were pretty great too. We couldn't pass up a few new wands. And above all, freeze dried chicken! My cats are crazy for meat so giving them a treat like this makes their day. I love all the best pets! Staffs are nice and friendly. They try hard to find something that's works for you doggie. I have a Frenchie and she has allergies. We founds a few good choices for her and it has done magic! Every time I drive by the store, the sign in the front cracks me up. The things here are pretty expensive and not the type of thing that you would find at Petco. If you see something labeled organic and ESPECIALLY if it's PET FOOD (are you going to eat it? do you have a special enough tongue from eating many kinds of dog foods that you can tell if it's organic or not?). This place is a fucking joke and you're better off going to PETSMART or WAL-MART for your pet care needs than this overpriced, bougie bullshit. I am so sad to give them a 2, We have been going there pretty regularly but I was so irritated last time.. here's why.. I don't mind paying a bit more to support local businesses and they carry great stuff but they recently quit carrying the food my dogs eats. We tried a new kind and we were givin some enzymes to help witht he transition.The dogs have been throwing up, Normal when you switch foods I guess but annoying. I really didnt want an education on dog food that day... but the lady insisted on overloading me with information. She has done this twice now. I appreciate the service and everything but I just need a quick bag of food, not a seminar. I was also stunned to hear her say on two different occasions that I should switch my dog's food every bag. That seems contradictory to what my vets have always said. Is she qualified to give that kind of advice? Sticking to product information might be safer. They have the products I want at fair enough prices. I feed my dog Honest Kitchen food which isn't super easy to come by locally. They reward program brings the prices in line with what I could order it for online. I seem to get 20 bucks off every 3rd purchase or so (I spend around 175 each time). Some of the employees are FANTASTIC, but really they are all pretty knowledgable it seems. I did have a huge discussion with one of them about high protein diets for dogs. I think it comes right down to opinions... Some people think raw is terrible, some think its great. Some think high protein is great, some don't. I'm not sure that as retail employees they should be pushing their opinions quite so much, but they do know a lot about the product. If you're looking for opinions ask your vet or do your own research, don't put that on a pet store employee. If you know what you want in theory (ie protein and fat content) they do know their products well enough to give you the options. read more

I recently moved to the Lake City area and needed to find a decent pet store for my cat who is a very picky eater. I normally go to Mud Bay but there wasn't one in the area so I checked out All the Best. When I asked the cashier if they has the specific kind I was looking for, they told me it didn't exist... I pulled up a picture on my phone and explained that I had been feeding my cat this type for a few years. The cashier then offered to order me the brand and flavor I wanted so I waited at the register. After 5-6 minutes of just waiting I walked back to the office and told the cashier I would just check in later, they responded "oh yeah we won't have it in for a while." I will not be back. (Pet Pros just down the street had excellent service and offered to order me the food right after discovering it wasn't in stock. No questions). read more
