The gentleman had on a newsboy cap and the woman had reddish hair (forgive me for not having better details, I was so sad. But the sentiment remains the same.) There are businesses you visit, and then there are places that become part of your family's story. All The Best falls firmly into the latter category. Since moving to Ballard, our dog was a regular visitor. He'd shamelessly help himself to treats from the bins, tail wagging with pure delight at his "successful" heist-- the cashiers were always so gracious. And on top of that, the store regularly hosts wonderful community events (like the wading pool they set up during farmers market days.) But it was on our dog's final day that the staff last Wednesday morning truly showed us the greatest kindness. We brought him in one last time, and they let him steal treats to his heart's content. Without being asked, they prepared a goodie bag filled with food and treats he might enjoy, and they gave me forget-me-not seeds. In a moment when I was completely broken, they showed such genuine compassion and understanding. Those treats kept Teddy calm and happy in his last moments, and I will never forget the incredible kindness of their gesture. If you're looking for a pet store where your furry family members will be truly welcomed and cherished, where the staff genuinely cares about your pet's happiness, and where you'll be treated like family, this is your place. Thank you to the team for being such beautiful souls. You've made me a customer for life.

My dog has been dealing with constipation and yellow liquid poop for 4 days for what can pass through. I am considering taking her to the vet today. They really should talk to the vendor they are receiving these from as they are obviously selling pig ears with a lot of fat or grease that is causing constipation.

Lani is a very anxious, easily scared pup and in the past has needed trazodone for grooming or vet visits, but with Mahi we've been able to bring her in without any issues. Nail trims with other groomers have always been a struggle, but Mahi somehow manages to get them done. We can usually get appointment times that work for us, and our dogs always come back smelling great and feeling super clean. Parking is easy right out front. Even though this location stays busy, they move people through pretty efficiently and seem well organized with their appointments. The grooming prices are reasonable and the fact that it's close to our house is a big win. Our other dog Bradi is much more social and absolutely loves coming here. She thinks it's playtime every time. We also like that they offer teeth brushing as an option. Overall a solid grooming spot if you live in the Queen Anne or Interbay area.

bad experience taking my puppy to get groomed here. (He's on the left)…read more He's a toy poodle and they completely shaved him down, leaving him unrecognizable, not even leaving any facial framing or fur on his ears despite him clearly not having any matting in those areas. Groomer seemed uninterested in conversation regarding the cut so I just left. Just did a lazy job in general. The groomers name was Wethir I believe. Does this look like a poodle cut to you? Such a low effort job for a $90 charge. My dog on the right was also pretty matted up and was taken to the Petco location in Ballard just last week, notice the difference in effort on the groomers end. Unfortunately won't be back to this location which sucks because it's closer to me.

I…read moreoccasionally will scope out some of the deals here which I recommend, but this will mostly be about the grooming services here. I come here because it's fairly reasonably priced for the service of cut, washing and nail clipping. I've used a couple different groomers here and it varies. What varies is the friendliness, but I feel like "how's your dog today? How's it going today?" is a good start. I haven't gotten that in my last couple visits. I get a groomer looking like they're coming off they're break and still looking exhausted and only somewhat interested in doing the job. That said I am generally satisfied with the actual grooming, but the little details I ask for are sometimes missed, and I've gotten that attention to them before. The staff are usually friendly, and the store is well stocked though it's not usually where I get my pet needs. The clearance rack is something I like about this Petco and have scored some nice deals browsing it each visit. So, while this Petco is ok, the services are a tad hit and miss.

Guessing this location of Petco may not be long for this world. Will Crown Hill pet owners even notice? Update: what seems like an automated response came almost immediately, either a form template or already AI agent. The big box corporate advantage is usually a fully staffed store, but not at this location.

It really sucks when you walk in the door of a shop…read moreor restaurant and the first thing that happens is someone yells at you not to do something. That's what happened to me today. I had to quickly pick up one item for my dog and, as is the case with most businesses I go to, I was hoping to pull in my bike for a quick second - It's not like this store doesn't have any room to allow a person to put a bike up for two or three minutes. However, Even before I was able to get the door open, some blond chick in the store screeched at me: "no bikes in the store!" Clearly that is store policy, but the way she did it made it so that I don't ever care to go to this place again. I don't have a car so it's hard for me to get around, but I guarantee that I will go out of my way to avoid this store again because of the negativity I received today. Sure, they don't allow bikes in the store, but she could've walked up to me and politely asked me if I would park the bike outside and the policy is to not allow bikes in the store. Instead, she screeched at me from her counter across the store. That is really embarrassing and shaming. Perhaps she's not being paid enough to try to be polite to customers, but you can guarantee that they will not see my face at that store again.

If my pups are taken care of, then I am taken care of!…read more I have been to a number of mud bays around the Seattle area, and while they are all awesome, I really like the Greenwood location for a number of different reasons. First off, I have never walked in the door without being greeted with a huge smile and hearty hello by one of the staff members. I always feel so welcome and when I have my dogs with me they are usually doted over and made to feel like the most special dog that walked into the store that day. Additionally, I have had multiple, LONG, conversations with many different staff members regarding a number of different, meaningful topics - food, behavior, toys, etc. The knowledge the staff have, and the fact that they go above and beyond just to help their customers out is a big testament to why I feel so committed to spending my doggie dollars at Mud Bay. They really know A LOT and really care A LOT about making sure you're making the best choice for your animals. They might be a little expensive, but I would much rather walk into a nicely lit, well decorated, invested-employee establishment and feel like my dogs are truly cared for than a large corporation that barely talk to you, and don't know nearly as much. I'll continue to shop at Mud Bay for all my pups needs.
