And Paul gave me a cone to borrow when my dog was recovering from surgery, and he said just return it clean.

The staff were super warm and friendly, they couldn't get enough of Calvin in his new raincoat. They helped me find the size for my bigger dog I needed, and were chill about Calvin wanting to try treats. They made the experience very pleasant. The store is in a convenient location, easy to find, has plenty of parking for those who need it, and is bright and open. Highly recommend.

Baci's favorite shop!!…read more You can park anywhere in the university village and my puppy will bring you here with his little nose. I mean! How can you not love this spot. Sadly, we come here almost every week just for the bones and ice cream. I still cook all his meals at home! So what's the best part about this spot besides the happy puppies? You can park downstairs in the village or up here in the smaller lot. It's a smaller store but they have the essentials that we always get: goat milk gelato, bacon and chedder swell's puppy ice cream, peanut butter ice cream! The smoked bones, Icelandic fish skin, the bully sticks, the chewy yak chews and the occasional little treats from their treat bar: we got the tub! You get discount per pound with the tub. He doesn't like them as much since they are mostly flavored with grains so we get a handful sometimes. But beef jerky, taffy, bbq smoked bones! Can't go wrong with them. Baci loves this place and so do I!

They have the hugest amount of big hearted volunteers and I will be one soon too and donated a large cat tree, and immediately the cats wanted me to take them home when they saw my donation. I found the staff to be all really educated, kind, humble and very caring about the conditions and play activities and space for the cats. They have several glass playrooms with huge space so guests can go into the rooms and really connect to the cats, lots of activity, stimulation and playtime, very comforting cat sleep places and it is super clean. By the behaviors of the cats, I know it really is a special foundation. We hope this post will inspire any locals or visitors to consider visits and donations of time or anything to support these cats into real loving kind giving supportive new family homes. I love PAWS 501c3!!

He plays with the ribbon wand but is also happy playing by himself with the colored wool balls. Thanks so much to the people at PAWS who so wonderful and answered any questions I had about the kitties, including sharing medical history, diet, and all first time kitty owner questions. :) PAWS Cat City Adoption Center: The adoption center is located across from a day care or school in University District. When I walked in, it smelled clean and the meet and greet rooms were really clean as well! All of the kitties were just chillin in the rooms. Process: I found PAWS Cat City on Google maps when I searched cat adoption near me. I went to their website and kept checking for new kitties. When I saw a few that I wanted to meet, I just showed up the next day at opening (on a Thursday), let the adoption specialists know which kitties I was interested in meeting, filled out a form, and went straight into the meet and greet rooms. I spent about 20-30mins in the room observing and petting the kitties. While I was in the room, the adoption specialists came to check in every 10 mins and I was able to ask lots of questions. After I decided to take Tako home, I sat down with one of the adoption specialists and went through their packet. Someone also helped put Tako in the soft carrier that I brought. I ordered mine on Amazon, and since it's a soft one, it arrived folded up and didn't take up much space. I think they also have one-time use carrier or used hard carriers for purchase. I'd highly recommend PAWS Cat City for cat adoptions! I've seen some mixed reviews on how busy it gets on weekends, so I'd recommend stopping by during a weekday.

Communication is so important with customers. It really sucks when you walk in the door of a shop…read moreor restaurant and the first thing that happens is someone yells at you not to do something. That's what happened to me today. I had to quickly pick up one item for my dog and, as is the case with most businesses I go to, I was hoping to pull in my bike for a quick second - It's not like this store doesn't have any room to allow a person to put a bike up for two or three minutes. However, Even before I was able to get the door open, some blond chick in the store screeched at me: "no bikes in the store!" Clearly that is store policy, but the way she did it made it so that I don't ever care to go to this place again. I don't have a car so it's hard for me to get around, but I guarantee that I will go out of my way to avoid this store again because of the negativity I received today. Sure, they don't allow bikes in the store, but she could've walked up to me and politely asked me if I would park the bike outside and the policy is to not allow bikes in the store. Instead, she screeched at me from her counter across the store. That is really embarrassing and shaming. Perhaps she's not being paid enough to try to be polite to customers, but you can guarantee that they will not see my face at that store again.

My dog, the incredibly fabulous and ultra-spoiled Goldendoodle that he is, has asked me to bark out…read moreand write this review on his behalf. He is 5 now, and when he was just a tiny little guy, I was roaming the aisles and overwhelmed by the fact that there is SO MUCH that you can buy for your dog to snack on, but I thought 99% of it was junk (after scrutinizing the ingredients). While I like junk food myself, I monitor EVERYTHING that goes in his mouth since I want him to live a long, happy and healthy life. Enter Blue Dog Bakery treats! He's tried them all, and gives all a 4 paws up, but his absolute favorite is the "Softie", which I describe as a fig newton for dogs. It's shaped like one, there's nothing in it that a human could not eat (I'm allergic to peanut butter, otherwise I might try it), and it is nice and soft (thus the name, obviously). I think it was designed as a nice treat for older dogs, but it has evolved as his goodnight snack, and no matter what he is doing, when I say it is "time for night night", he will RUN TO HIS BED to get his Softie. Seriously, he loves it. Loves the Softie. Loves. Blue Dog does lots of nice things for the community, has a great monthly newsletter that you can have emailed to you, and best of all, you will know that your best 4-pawed friend is eating things that are healthy! Woof Woof.
