In doing so he indicated areas I overlooked when viewing this home several times over. Not being aware of these nuances is why you hire a home inspector simply because a home's wear may not be fully factored into the closing price. Water damage is the nemesis of any home and probably the most pervasive. This inspection confirmed those suspicions however I underestimated the extent of the issue. I was able to follow him throughout the inspection process from the roof to the crawlspace. His assessments however verified what was also right with the house. That information provides a more balanced assessment of a property's worth and a basis for making an educated offer. Being informed can save years of buyers remorse and this inspection provided just that. Homes can be a maintenance hog so just knowing what your getting into is essential. Don put to bed a lot of that nagging uncertainty. After all, you ultimately are the one left responsible for what the seller leaves behind.
