They rebuilt my transmission for $2800 and after 2 years it break again. Two weeks before break again, I felt something strange, I took to them and they said that nothing was wrong. I had the 3 years warranty, but only cover parts, so I had to pay another $1400. My truck stayed at the shop for 3 weeks, I called 3 times a week to get status. After get my truck last week, I noticed that my gas cap was missing, my 2 led fog light bulbs were missing and the harness cut. They gave me a free diagnostic, found the problem with 24 hours, gave me a fair price, and even were willing to cut me a cash deal to match a price I found at a different shop. I took my 2007 Camry in for a free estimate, the car is in superb condition both inside, outside, and mechanically, just felt a slight issue shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear with the automatic transmission. The estimate is not free because if you want a second opinion you are required to pay several hundred dollars before they put your car back together. Rusty seemed friendly and capable, said he is the owner's son and he runs the business, and is very customer focused. Rusty told me I was lucky because the Toyota transmission can be repaired and doesn't need to be replaced. After he had my transmission that was when he told me it needed to be replaced (this was when I found out about the cost to put it back together if I was not proceeding with them doing the repair). I authorized the repair and everything was fine for a few months when I noticed the car was leaking oil for the first time since I bought it new off the dealership floor. I took the car back to them three times and each time they said they didn't see any signs of leaking. I finally took the car to the Toyota dealership and they said the rear main seal was leaking. They said that it is normal to replace the rear main seal during a transmission replacement as it connects the transmission to the engine and it's prudent to do so. I went back to Rusty and he said he does not automatically replace this seal during transmission work unless there is something wrong with it. I ask him, as a subject matter expert, why would he not replace the $20 seal since the car was 10 years old with over 140K miles. His defense is there was nothing wrong with the seal and it didn't warrant replacing, regardless of age or mileage. So obviously Rusty's employees who worked on my car overlooked the better judgement of replacing the rear main seal and he was not willing to take responsibility for it. For those who are not aware, in order to change the rear main seal, the transmission has to be dropped and this is major work, so for Rusty's employee mistake on replacing a $20 gasket I now have to pay almost a couple thousand dollars to repair the leak. Rusty offered to give me a couple hundred dollars discount for him to have a repair completed that he created, I am not in the habit of throwing good money after bad. He should have had the employees who did the work correct their error; I would not recommend this company nor this location. I've heard of dirty dealings, and I'm not easily shocked, but this one takes the cake! We took our vehicle to All Transmission World to get a second opinion on what was wrong with the transmission. My husband chose this scummy place based upon positive reviews on the internet, which I'm still baffled over considering our experience. He called them and was promised a" free" estimate to determine what was wrong with the transmission. Lo and behold, a couple of days later he called to check on the car to find "free" isn't free anymore (should've ran screaming then), but for $362.00 dollars more, they can do a more "in-depth" look at the transmission for a definitive answer. Since the car wasn't running we agreed. I should add my husband made it VERY clear he didn't want to spend thousands of dollars on the car. For a couple of hundred dollars, if it was a sensor, for instance, we would fix it, but we didn't have intentions on spending thousands on a transmission. To make an unbelievably horrible story short, All Transmission World said they could fix it for $3000 and tried to convince us of how great a car it was, and oh, they also have financing if we can't afford it. How dandy! As we told them earlier, we were not going to spend thousands on the car, so in their generous spirit, they dropped it to around $2000.00. When this didn't work, they offered to buy the car from us for the amount of their inspection. Yeah, I know. You can't make this stuff up. Wait, this is not the terrible part, I know they are a business trying to make a sale. We're not even salty about that. After trying to talk us into paying the exorbitant fees we already told them we had no intention of paying from the start, they asked us to pick up the car because they need the parking space. Not a problem. When my husband arrives with the tow truck, we were met with a GOTCHA! ALL TRANSMISSION WORLD WANTED APPROXIMATELY $400.00 TO PUT THE TRANSMISSION TOGETHER AGAIN! THIS FINE DETAIL WAS NOT PROVIDED TO US WHEN WE AGREED FOR A MORE THOROUGH TRANSMISSION ASSESSMENT. IF WE KNEW, THE SERVICE WOULD NOT HAVE COMMENCED AND THE CAR WOULD'VE BEEN PICKED UP IMMEDIATELY. So let's skip to the end. We refused All Transmission World's extortion tactics, and true to their shady, crooked, hustling dealings, All Transmission World unceremoniously dumped our disassembled transmission in the trunk of the car. Even the tow truck driver looked incredulous and shocked at All Transmission Worlds manager, Rusty Axsom, and their dirty dealings as he towed the car away. All Transmission World preys on perceived desperation, because let's face it, people need their cars. They promise, "free assessments," but it's nothing more than a sham to lure you into their swindling clutches. Once your car is in their possession, they will get their pound of flesh, one way or the other. Reputable businesses are transparent, with superb customer service. This place is full of two-bit hustlers purporting a shake-down. You've been warned. read more

I brought my car in when first gear was hesitant. They told me it needed rebuilt and charged me $2500. It took them 3 days to have my car back to me. The rebuilt transmission lasted a few weeks when it went out completely. Its now been 3 weeks and my car's still at their shop waiting for the warrantied work. Its costing me $200 a week for a rental car, so thats $600 and counting. I will update this in how everything turns out... read more

I was taking the family on vacation to Disney and when pulling into my campsite transmission fluid was everywhere. Disney has a car care center and towed for free to there shop and said it needs a new tranny. I have a 99 f250 7.3 diesel and I know it's not cheap to replace a transmission. They said of hand at least 4 grand. It was 4th of July and started calling around and all transmission world answered. Rusty went above and beyond. He knew exactly the trouble I was in and took care of it immediately. He rebuilt the transmission for way less than the car care center and test drove it many times to make sure everything was good. Terrific rescue. Pep Boys in Miami replaced the starter on my older Infiniti. They handed me a compromised car. Jolting harsh shift from first to second. Check Engine Light. Error Code P0745. Wonderful. I took it back. Pep Boys ace electrician stood by his work. Enjoy your car. Three subsequent mechanics in Miami and the Orlando area were stumped. One guy insisted I needed an $800 solenoid swap or a $1500 rebuild. Luckily my instincts were wide open. This has to be electrical, associated with the starter. While visiting relatives in Ocoee I was directed to All Transmission World. Rusty asked all the relevant questions and was very diligent along with Ricky and other crew members. They agreed it had to be electrical. It took late one day and most of the next to identify the combination -- reset computer, burnt starter wires and failed drop resistor. I had mentioned drop resistor to the three previous mechanics. I'm not convinced they knew what it was. All ignored the possibility. Rusty did not. The bill was very reasonable, especially given the devoted hours, and a fraction of the solenoid quote. My vintage G20 feels like itself again, shifting as smoothly as ever. Maybe better.
