Everyone was very friendly and welcoming to us. My dog, Sadie, and I were booked on a plane to Georgia on Thursday, and I found out on Tuesday that she needed a health certificate to fly. With such short notice, I was afraid we would have to cancel the flight, so started calling vet clinics, including one who had seen Sadie before, and kept being told "We don't do that" (give health certs for flights). Finally, All Valley Pet Clinic on Emerald was recommended. I called them and they fit her in the next morning. We were greeted warmly and Sadie was examined by the vet tech, then the vet. Both were very friendly and handled Sadie gently and efficiently. She got 3 vaccinations and a health certificate, as well as flea/tick and heart worm preventatives (recommended especially since the southeastern states are known to have many of the creatures that cause issues for pets.) From start to finish, it was a very pleasant experience and I left feeling happy and relieved that we could make our flight the next day. Disappointed ! No personality or compassion or customer service. After the doctor came in and looked at my Sheppard's paws that are red and irritated , her only response was to give Sheba some sort of shot (like a steroid) with no explanation of what the shot was. When I declined and said Ill try something topical first she became disinterested and walked out while I was still talking. When I walked out to pay she was laughing to her staff how I declined to give my dog the shot. The cost was ridicules also , over $100 for the visit because it was a walk in, but their were no other clients there. She was with us for 5 minutes! We brought our dog in for a collapsed trachea and the vet gave her back to us dead. She gave her oxygen for a couple of hours and then steroids, but several articles I found today stated that steroids are ineffective and unnecessarily dangerous in treating a collapsed trachea. My children are devastated. Our dog was only seven years old. She was tired from panting when we brought her in, but stable (and alive.) We assumed she would improve at the vet but whatever they did made things 10 times worse. Of course, they charged us top dollar for everything they did wrong and everything that failed. They even charged us $40 for an impression of our dead dog's paw in clay. One would think that would be a freebie since it costs them next to nothing, but aside from rampant greed, that might be admitting guilt and exposing themselves to a lawsuit. Veterinarians in general need to stop pretending they care about animals because if they did, their prices would be reasonable. The truth is they only care about animals owned by people rich enough to afford their outlandish rates. People with low incomes must allow their animals to suffer and die because they can't afford to make greedy veterinarians richer. read more

Beware, their prices have skyrocketed. I've been taking my pets to All Valley as needed over the past 6 years. Today my dog was supposed to have a preventive dental cleaning, a service which cost about $350 in the past. The first estimate they handed me today was $1,000 on the high end! Even after I had them remove all the extras (like x-rays that would have cost more than human dental x-rays, $20 probiotics and $18 Tylenol), the estimate came in between $660-$800. The woman who helped me was very nice and apologetic, explaining they "switched companies" in June and that was the reason for the cost increase. Time to find a new vet. read more

I am a little bit mixed on this. Typically, I go to Broadway Vet or Ada Vet. Sometimes they are booked so I come to the vet on Emerald. For the most part they have taken care of my dog. They spayed her; they have this discounted spay and neuter clinic once a month. I go here for her shots. They also trim her nails upon request. No complaints there. One thing I realized since maybe mid-2020 they have slightly poor customer service skills. I have been a little irritated with them. Last year, all vet clinics restricted access to their lobby and you had to drop off your pet for care or wait outside. So, I had to be calling to see if I could drop off Bonnie. When I called All Valley to ask the response I got was, "Aw, how cute! You don't have to set up an appointment." So, I guess you were the only vet allowing walk ins? Rude. I should have said something then. Nope, I carried on without complaining. This year, I decided to take my dog in for a teeth cleaning. I wasn't sure what I was doing or what to expect. Yes, I am kind of a bad dog mom because I have never taken any of my dogs for a teeth cleaning. Maybe look into pet insurance? Anyways, I was told that Bonnie had to fast for like 12 hours or so. Unfortunately, my timing is a little off since I have a hectic schedule. Can I feed her breakfast the day before? The only vague answer: she can't be fed the day of the cleaning. Okay, so, I get different information from the beginning so now I am confused. I called again and got another person who was not listening to my question, "She has to fast. She can't eat before the procedure." I asked for a manager, she refused and she repeated herself. I asked again for a manager and she said that she was the manager; so I told her that she was not listening to my question and I was simply asking if she can be fed anything the day before. She finally told me that I can feed her the day before; she can't eat after midnight. Finally! So, Bonnie has her teeth cleaned. They gave me pain killers to give to her for five days, but there was enough to last for three. I am probably going to have a word with their owner here soon. When I spoke to their location on Eagle I was told that the owner was out of town. Something has to be done about the lack of communication skills on Emerald. read more

Thankfully I found All Valley clinic after my dog ripped his dew claw, leaving it barely hanging on to his paw. I was referred to All Valley by a clinic that couldn't squeeze us into their schedule. I could not have asked for a better experience! The clinic didn't have room on their schedule so we had to walk-in. I was dreading the wait and how much it was going to cost. But to my surprise, I spent less than an hour total and the bill was just under $40, prescription included! Most importantly, the vet did a great job with my feisty dog! read more

Don't bring your pets here. Worst experience with a vet I've ever had... brought my one year old cat in yesterday who was in distress. I originally had a 3:30pm appointment but feared my little guy wouldn't make it that long so I called them back and they said to bring him in. Got to the office just before 2:30pm. They said he had a fever of 105 and put him on ice. They then came out to discuss payment and I had asked if we could pay a portion now and make payments towards the rest. That was not an option, so I told them to go ahead a treat him and I would cover the cost. They came out 3 more times to discuss the amount due, which I again stated would be covered and asked for an update on my cat. They said they hadn't given him any antibiotics nor any fluid for his dehydration. So they just allowed him to sit and suffer while running several tests without a diagnosis. They even advised over the phone to get him in immediately so they could begin the antibiotics and fluids. We sat for almost 3 hours waiting for them to treat him but instead they were only concerned with the payment, which was paid in full prior to leaving. An hour after we arrive which was my original appointment time, they wanted to have him transferred to a 24 hour hospital. This was at 3:30pm and they didn't close until 6pm. They pumped him full of antibiotics and fluids hours later and then handed him over to us barely breathing and practically dead. We drove 13 minutes to the emergency hospital upon leaving and my cat stopped breathing before we could get there. The people at this vet clinic are a complete joke and waste of time. They only care about collecting a paycheck and could care less about you or your pet. I asked 3 times why they hadn't given him any meds within that 3 hours they had him but they only jumped around my question without answering. This clinic is complete garbage. The vet we had was an unprofessional older white woman who holds absolutely no empathy for you or your beloved pet. While she was getting her shots the vet didn't puncture her properly with the needle & 1/2 of the sDHPP vaccine leaked from the syringe onto her hair. I have taken both my pets there for almost 16yrs. My Oliver Kitty got sick 4-5 yrs ago and was kept over night on antibiotics. I took him home and still not better. Then it was the weekend so i was told to take him to Emergency care in Nampa. He was given a few more injections as I couldn't afford to leave him overnight again. He eventually got better and lived for 16yrs! I was heart broken when in May I had to put him down. The staff & Dr were very compassionate. I brought Oliver home for burial in a custom made box. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. I took my new puppy here just under 3 years ago for the spay/neuter clinic, and although there was no surgical issues, the customer service was awful and the All Valley Pet Clinic on Cinema Dr. became my vet for my pets after that and I've have been happy since. Then COVID happened.... My dog needed several vaccines and the All Valley on Cinema Dr. stopped those appointments because they are a 24 hour ER. I was told the Emerald faculty still had their vaccine clinic running (3rd Saturday of every month), so they transferred me to the location to make sure and I was told they did. I showed up, and guess what- they did not! They 2 women at the reception area were borderline rude. They blamed the Cinema Dr. location and said they never confirmed the clinic was still open. There was a call and it was "miscommunication", only to find out later that the vet on Emerald didn't communicate this info. Thankfully, even though this vet was a bit far, the one on Federal Way (and way out of my way) was able to get me in later that day and was AMAZING! I'm looking forward to leaving them a great review and it was worth the drive. This place? If l lived next door to it, I'd be more willing to drive out of state than I would be to go to this places read more

I have had good and bad experience at this clinic. On August 1st I had to put one of my fur babies down. Hard decision. They offered paw prints. Long story short after a month of trying to find out what happened to them only one person called me back and went above and beyond. Seems no one can find them but she did Something for me to try and help me feel better. She apologized and did something very special for me. We had another visit this week for another elderly dog who may have fractured his jaw. We can't swing putting the money into him because we don't have it however I feel like Dr McGrath gave me a glimpse of hope and a hope that is slow but steady. Last night my 17-year old cat decided it was time to go.. I took him here, the closest all night clinic. They immediately stepped up to make this terrible painful decision as easy on usas possible. The receptionist, the tech and the vet himself all did their level best to make the experience about me and the cat. They even had a special room, without all the examining contraptions, more like a lounge. I was able to hold him in my arms the whole time. They even trimmed some of his fur to keep, at my request. read more

We've taken our Yorkie to AV for several years just for routine vaccines, dog tag, etc. This summer our dog developed a chronic cough and we took her in. The doc insisted on a chest xray, which was appropriate, but at over $200 I thought was very steep. (I've been in health care and have a sense for appropriate charges.) The doc put her on a diuretic and blood pressure medicine which was potentially OK, but it caused dog severe dizziness - she was literally falling down. I had also asked what the cost would be just to remove a wart on her front leg. They came back with an itemized list of extensive things I didn't ask for and didn't think were needed with a cost just under $1000.00! I was blown away. Instead, I went on Amazon and found a Dog Wart oil for about $6 that I applied regularly and in about 3 weeks the wart was gone. For $6! Aggravated I went to another vet to get a 2nd opinion. This vet actually took my dog's blood pressure, with an actual BP cuff (what a concept!), and determined she did not need to be on the blood pressure med at all. This 2nd vet requested a copy of the xray from All Valley and received an x-ray of a CAT! It took 2-3 days before they finally located the correct x-ray and got it sent over. So between the inappropriate medication, the lack of a thorough diagnosis, the sloppy record handling, and the blatant price gouging I strongly recommend taking your pet ANYWHERE else! read more

So we brought our little 4 pound chihuahua to the vet and probably one of the WORST experiences ever. The vet that examined our poor baby was specialized in horses and not even dogs. (later learned her practice was shit down) Totally misdiagnosed our dog and we ended up have to nurse her back to health. Our dog now has holes in her eyes now from an infection that they told us was just her eyes irritated by the smoke in the air. I agree with the review I saw on here. I was a bit nervous to take our dog here based on the reviews, but my parents take their dog here and they assured us the place is great, and we are so happy we came here! The prices are more competitive than many other places in the area and the care we received was great! We just moved here from CA and our dog has many health issues that the new vets had to get caught up on, they handled his medical history with great care and were super helpful in continuing his treatment. I had a HORRIBLE experience with All Valley and would NEVER recommend them to anyone. My dog broke her shoulder and the vet missed the break in the x-ray because she looked at the wrist NOT the shoulder where the break was. I took my dog back 3 times and each time the vet said it was a muscle injury (for 6 months???) Finally, I took the x-rays from All Valley to another vet and they saw the break at the should in All Valley's X-Rays. Then they wouldn't stand behind their vet's mistake and do her surgery (that she now needed after 6 months of hobbling on her broken leg). I have had nothing but issues with taking my dog to the All Valley clinics. Starting from over two years ago I have had issues with the way they treat customers, how i've been informed and scheduled for a "snip" appointment just to show up and be told that they don't do that program in that office and basically was told I was lying. I've been given appointment cards at a visit to come back the next week when I had scheduled to get my dog fixed only to find that no appointment existed. Unprofessional vet and staff, rude, take dog out of room to do blood draws and other procedures most other places do in front of you. Took two attempts to get a simple heart worm blood sample. This can be done by a vet tech and they tried to have the vet come in to talk to me and charge me for a vet visit. I specifically specified via phone when I made he appointment with a tech that I would not need to see the vet. Will never ever return to this facility. HORRIBLE! read more

The first vet I saw was an older lady who seemed pretty knowledgeable but her bed side manner for someone who is as attached to her pet as I am was awful and we knew there was a bacteria problem but she wouldn't give me antibiotics in the mean time of waiting for testing which while we waited my cat got sicker. Finally I talked to a different vet and she only needed 5 minutes to say there was an infection and gave me the medicine I needed. In the end I was happy with the second vet but not pleased with the first lady. So just be careful which one you get, I guess. read more

They gave my cat medication that made her worse. I called them and I told them about it and they said if the medication isn't helping her than that's not it. I paid $72. I foster for a local rescue organization that uses All Valley for their veterinarian needs and as a result have found myself at both their Emerald Street Clinic and their Meridian hospital on multiple occasions. At both locations I have always received excellent care for the pups in my care. Their staff and Drs. are knowledgeable, friendly, and compassionate. Typically, the Emerald Street clinic is able to get me in on the same day with very little wait time; whereas, the Meridian location is an emergency room and depending on your pets condition and the other emergency cases they have you may experience a longer wait (just like a human emergency room). In either case, the care your pet receives is top-notch. Whether it is a routine puppy exam or emergency surgery you can be assured your pet will receive excellent and compassionate care. read more

We took our puppy here to get neutered and arrived at 7:30 a.m. when the clinic opened. "Bobbi" was working and I don't think she wanted to be there because she walked over to the door, unlocked it and walked away ignoring us. Now, customer service 101: you unlock the door, open the door and say good morning to the people standing there giving you their money. She continued to ignore us so I said, "Good morning." She was really slow, snarky and sarcastic. Not the way I wanted to start my morning and had I not already been there I would have turned around and left. If you hate your job, look for another one. I just wanted to say how thoroughly disappointed I am in this hospital's customer service & care. I brought in a litter of 12 chocolate lab puppies that suddenly became ill at 2 days old. One was really sick when I brought him in and they took him to back room to check him out. They had me sign a form if I would like CPR performed for approx. $200 to $500 if needed. We just wanted to save the pup. After what seemed like forever the vet came in and said he didn't make it & said he was dead on arrival. But of course they still charged me for the CPR. They also couldn't figure out why the other puppies were sick, they said "sometimes puppies get sick and we don't know why" they took fecal tests and saw nothing. So I was sent home with dying puppies with no hope. The next morning another puppy was going down hill fast so we brought her back and they said they recommended keeping for observation & took fecal tests from her to send to outside lab for more testing. Got a call that evening she had passed. Our only hope now was to wait for fecal tests to see if showed anything.The puppies one by one were fading away and I wasn't happy with no answers so I decided to get a 2nd opinion from my old vet Dr. Mills at Settlers Park in Meridian. By that time the puppies now had bloody diarrhea and were crying like they were in pain. He did an evaluation and said it may be too late but could send me home with fluids and antibiotics to keep them hydrated and perhaps kill whatever possible bacteria they my have. At least there was some hope that I could do something. I was feeding them with an eye dropper at this point because they stopped nursing. I had asked All Valley about goats milk since I had read on line it was better than the milk replacer. They said no stick with the milk replacer. Well it wasn't doing anything so I changed to goats milk and they seemed to eat better. In the end we ended up losing 11 of the 12 puppies, but I thank Dr. Mills for saving the last little girls life. I believe if we didn't hydrate her or give antibiotics she also would of died. Oh by the way we will never know what caused this illness as All Valley lost the fecal tests they sent to outside lab. What a horrible nightmare this has all been. Especially watching our mama dog look around house for her missing puppies. read more

We take both of our dogs to the clinic on Federal Way and had many issues this last visit: 1) Called and made the appointment. Took 10 minutes to book two appointments for rabies shots. Something about a new system not working. 2) Told I would get a call back in 24 hours with the price for the shots. No call back. 3) Called back the next day, to confirm the appointment (concerned after the comment about the new system not working) and the price. Was told the appointment was made but still no idea what the shots would cost. Told someone would call me back. Again, no one ever called me back. 4) Show up three days later for the appointment and they don't have a record of the appointment. They say they can get us in but it took them 45 minutes to find the records for one of our dogs (who has been there many times). The front desk tried to argue that we had never brought our dogs there before. Finally found the file, didn't apologize, and when I asked if they frequently lose appointments and files they responded back with 'well, it happens' and a smile. Needless to say we will be finding a new vet, even though we have been taking our dogs there for over 7 years. The clinic has been going downhill the last few years. read more

The first time I was there they took my dog our of the room to do a simple puppy exam, and she yelped. They told me they got a little close to her area (apparently so close that my dog sprayed the vet). I didn't know any better at the time, but of course I don't like to hear my pet upset. The second time was for her spay (which yes, I should have known better) When I got her home the suture line looked really jagged and not a clean cut. 2 weeks later I found a line coming out of my dog, it looked to me like a fishing line. So I took her in and they said it should dissolve but they took it out for me. This did not look like a dissolvable stitch. Not even a day after I found another line coming out of her skin, I pulled and it was attached to layers beneath!! I again took her in and a tech told me the same thing! These were not dissolvable stitches and they were coming from the inner layers! The dissolvable stitches on the outer layer are still in her and its been 7 months. I have to squeeze them out through the holes in her skin from the needles, so they are only partially dissolvable. Every time I look at my ups stomach, I get upset. They basically butchered her stomach, and there are still black mars where her 'dissolvable' are. If this is what I can see, I am worried about what she went through when I was not there! read more

I was really disappointed with this clinic. I took my cats there to get fixed. We were hoping the girl cat wasn't pregnant and they couldn't tell before they started so we just went ahead with the surgery. When I get there to pick the cats up I had my 7 year old and 5 year old with me. They were anxious about their kitties. As soon as I got up to the counter the lady informs me the cat was pregnant and I owe them more money. The kids immediately started asking questions about the cat being pregnant. They were very very upset about the whole thing. I felt like this woman handled the situation very poorly. She easily could have informed me of the extra cost and reason WITHOUT my kids knowing that the baby kitties are now dead. She was more concerned with getting more money out of me than she was about the very sensitive ears that were listening to the conversation. I felt like this was incredibly unprofessional and wouldn't recommend them. read more

I had to make an urgent appointment to establish care for my kittens. I took them to the Federal Way Clinic. I found the staff to be professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They got me in the same day that I called and the entire experience was pleasant, from the phone call until I walked out the door. I was highly impressed with Dr. Niki Eld. She took more time with us than human doctors take with people. The facility was clean, beautiful and set-up nicely for pets. The room that we were in was set-up for the kittens to play. This is by far the best veterinary clinic that I've encountered in all my years of pet ownership. I would highly recommend. read more
