Initital experience buying the car was fine. It had a check engine light come on during the test drive, they agreed to fix it. Took two days and they said was good to go, went and signed all the paperwork after another test drive seemed fine. Not even five minutes on the way home and engine light came back on. They said they would work on it and fix the issue. It's now been an entire week and I haven't been able to get through to a single person on the phone. The phone number listed doesn't go to anyone. I haven't been contacted a single time with an update and my salesman had to put me through to the service department who said they were getting the work finished two days ago, haven't heard since. They're keeping my car with no update after letting me buy it. Not a great experience. Update: I was contacted very soon after this review by their head of sales, and after that given regular updates on the progress of my vehicle. I'm very satisfied with the finished product, and they even fixed some other things that weren't the original problem. The communication with the repair in the beginning wasn't great but they did a lot to make it right. I will bring my car back here if I need it worked on in the future. read more

I paid $9,000 for a 2016 Subaru Crosstrek from All Wheel Drive Motors in Denver and do not have the vehicle. Within days of purchase, it broke down on the highway and had to be returned to the dealership. After additional issues, including a coolant leak they claimed to fix in about 30 minutes while I waited, I did not feel the vehicle was safe to drive and left it there. It has now been about two weeks, and I still do not know where my vehicle is. The general manager sent me an email stating they were abandoning the vehicle and did not care what happens to it. While I was at the dealership, I witnessed other customers dealing with similar issues, including one actively arguing with management. There are also multiple recent online reviews describing similar experiences. I have filed complaints with the State of Colorado, the Attorney General, and the BBB. At this point, I have paid in full, do not have possession of the vehicle, and have not been provided a clear resolution. Do not give these thieves your money! On Thusday, April 2nd, 2026 I gave them an $800 deposit for a 2017 Subaru Crosstrek, pending a safety inspection. I was estimated 72 hrs for the inspection and agreed to purchase the vehicle on or before Thursday April 9. When April 9 came around they did not have the vehicle prepared to sell me, it needed an engine replacement and another suspension part which they did not yet have in stock or know when they would be getting. I told them that I could not wait longer, and since it wasn't ready to purchase within the agreed upon time frame I would need a return of my deposit so that I could move forward with a different vehicle. The manager agreed to refund my deposit and told me that since my deposit was via Zelle (bank transfer) they would have to issue me a check, he said that it would take up to 72 hours to process through their accounting and he would call me when the check was available to pick up. I then purchased a different vehicle from a different seller. The following week, on April 15th, I had still not heard from them so I called to inquire about the status of my check. The manager told me that they had now decided NOT to return my deposit, he blamed it on accounting and ownership, but said that he would speak with accounting and call me back by the end of the day. He never called back. I followed up the next day and he re-iterated that they had decided not to refund the deposit. I filed a complaint with the BBB and got no response. read more

They took $1000 for a hold fee on a car then proceeded to struggle getting someone to deliver it which wouldnt have been an issue if they answered any of my multiple calls to confirm if it was on route or not. I gave All Wheel Drive Motors a chance, to do the right thing and they refused. Hence - BUYER BEWARE 3-11-2026 purchased car $7751. Carfax stated oil change in January and windshield sticker described 2405 miles until next oil change. 3-23-2026 mechanic in Denver changed air filter / transmission fluid and brake fluid. No evidence of oil leak and because of windshield sticker - no need to change oil. No evidence of oil leak in driveway or smoking when car started. 3-31-2026 driven a total of 1723 miles in 20 days and engine dies. Mechanic in Oregon drained remaining oil - only had 1 1 1/2 quarts of oil - instead of 5 quarts of oil Clearly the dealership did not check the oil. A prudent man would believe that a dealer would check the fluids before selling the car. Dealership offered to fix it, free labor but we would pay for a new or used engine, provided we ship it back. That's not the right thing. Expensive lesson to learn. Dealership offered to buy it back at sharply reduced cost but then after sending pictures of car - no response. I noticed quite a lot of cars with oil leaks, rats nest in engine bay, zero coolant in reservoir, low oil on dipsticks, transmission shifting issues upon test drive, etc. I highly suggest finding a different dealer. I did purchase a over priced car here and noted a faulty part before signing contract. They agreed to order a new part and let me know when it was in. Over a month later I bugged them about it and obviously they forgot to order it. A few days later they say the part is in so I go pick it up. Come to find out it was a used old part and the wrong size. Not a good experience and dont recommend. If you must I suggest looking past their lazy wipe down polish and fully inspecting these vehicles before purchase. read more

The dealership had recently wiped the computer to hide a Check Engine light--the EVAP emission readiness monitors were incomplete, meaning it will automatically fail Colorado emissions testing. bought a 2013 Crosstrek from here less than 3 weeks ago. it passed the emissions and then not even a week later started throwing out a P0420 code for the catalytic converter. Which in turn disables the cruise control and traction control. Tried cleaner for it and no dice, meaning now I have to replace a catalytic converter on a car I haven't even owned for a month. Inspections when I took it out for a test drive obviously didn't catch it because it wasn't throwing the code-- but the way the cars running leads me to believe that this has been a problem and they "fixed it" (aka used the cleaner) enough to get the code cleared and the car off their hands. Called Martín about the issue last week and still haven't heard a a single peep back from him. of course I didn't get one of their ridiculous warranties that probably wouldn't have covered this anyway, but this is crazy. This place is getting one star reviews everywhere I can possibly leave them a review til I hear back from Martín or his boss. Would not recommend All Wheel Drive Motors for purchasing your car. They use predatory practices and sold me a lemon. When I first went to buy a car, I put a down payment on it. I would pick the car up in few days after they were supposed to clean it and have it ready since the car had just come in. When I came in a few days later the car was not clean at all. We had also asked them initially to fix the plastic siding because it was coming off and could potentially be a hazard if it were to fall off while driving. They did not fix it when I came back and had to ask them again. They refused several times and telling us we would have to pay extra to have it fixed even though they said they were going to fix it. After arguing a while they finally fixed it. Didn't seem like it was that hard for them to do, and would be easier for them since they literally work on cars everyday. They had to reclean the car and finally fixed the siding with ease, but decided to try and get more money by pretending they couldn't fix it. I've now had the car just over a month and the check engine light came on. When I got the code and got it checked out my car had no oil in it. I called them back and they said they only give 30 days for then to work on the car and I am just over a month of having it. It was obviously leaking the whole time, but was not checked properly. When I talked to the service agent, Cole, he was rude and condescending. He also admitted they didn't throughly check the oil. The previous owner had a sticker that it needed to have an oil change in 2k more miles. The car should not have burned through that much oil in a month of driving with over 2k miles left for the next oil change. After getting it checked, my estimate was over $2k to get it fixed. They will not do anything or take any responsibility for selling a bad car. Definitely do not recommend coming here. Not sure why they have a service department since they don't seem to actually take care of the cars. read more

I'M FRUSTRATED and ANGRY. I do not recommend this business. Throughout the process of selecting a car they told me they would take care of any issues that came up in the first 30 days. When I went to take delivery of my car on Oct 10 the check-engine light came on when they started the car. They diagnosed the cause as a cam timing issue and said they would fix it and wanted me to pay half ($750) of the repair cost. I agreed because I liked the car and didn't think I could find one I liked better for the price. When I went back take delivery and they told me the problem was more serious and the engine needed to be replaced, which they would do. After the repair was done and they did several days of test driving they told me the car was ready. On Nov 8 when I picked it up they told me to let them know if I had any problems with the car. I drove the car 26 miles home and parked in my driveway. A few hours later there was a puddle of oil under the car. I called the next business day and left a message w the nice lady service department but never got a response back. I called once per week for TWO MONTHS and talked to salesmen, sales manager and the nice lady in the service dept. They were all respectful and wanted to help but the service manager WOULD NOT call me back. The car leaked 48 ounces of oil in 52 days!! I made a point to be patient and courteous and fair throughout this process, the same way I would want to be treated. So now I'm FRUSTRATED AND ANGRY and will have to find another way to fix a problem that should be their responsibility. Buyer beware! I do not recommend this business. read more

Don't believe the 5 star reviews, they bribe people with gift card raffles for good reviews!! (See -attached picture) I bought my 2016 Subaru WRX from all wheel drive motors back in June of 2023. The car itself is awesome! Unfortunately that's the only good thing I can say. When I purchased the car it had a check engine light on for an O2 sensor issue. I was told it didn't need emissions as a 2016 but as you can see in the attached picture their lead technician agreed to fix the problem by appointment so I agreed. After 2 failed attempts and 4 hours worth of driving I was told that I would have to split the cost because they weren't able to fix it cheaply. I sat on it for a few months and decided to just go and register my car in October. When I arrived at the DMV I was told All Wheel drive Motors hasn't even filed the paperwork with the DMV yet. So I drive back down to their office trying to get things fixed. Long story short the lead technician (Seamus) was upset that I called him out on not fixing the car and started throwing a fit and raising his voice at me. I had to drive to another location to pick up the paperwork and then go file it at the DMV for them... Unfortunately I still wasn't able to register my car because it did in fact need a passing emissions test. After 4 months of arguing they finally gave my the parts to take the shop of my choice and have them fix it. 9 months later I was finally able to register my car. Some other little notes. Lee was actually a great salesman and would buy from him again if he didn't work there. Gonzalo had admitted to me that they buy lots of crashed cars they haven't been reported to insurance and they also fake emissions tests for customers in order for the to register their car. Oh boy. This place. A total waste of 2 hours. Now let me tell you why. My wife and I walked the lot, and we saw a typical lot. Auction cars, trade-ins etc. For the most part, Subaru. Some Nissans and Hondas sprinkled in. The market is so high right now, and we're not delusional, so we know we are going to pay over KBB and market value. One car caught our eye. The price was marked down from original tag price (reference photo). If it had not been marked down, we would have kept walking and not test drove it and gone home. But, we did. Had the price confirmed, took it out for TWO test drives, once together and another with the service manager, to identify a sound from the front end. So we addressed the sound and planned on buying the car. Had approval from the sales person and sales manager. Gave our information, had scanned copies of our IDs, entered into their system. The whole 9 yards. Sat down with the sales person, and we're told they couldn't sell us the vehicle at the marked down advertised price. We were told it was a mistake on their end, and they couldn't sell at that price, but could for only $2000.00 more. Well, that's nice. We had the money on the table, ready to buy, and were just shut down. The lot manager was the one that vetoed the deal. Couldn't even look my wife in the eyes or give a comprehensive response or reason. Just "well, that's not the advertised price". Well, if it's on the price tag in the window, that seems like advertised to me. The worst part, we really liked the car. An overall waste of time and bad business. You set the prices and post them on the car, you should stand by it, mistakes or not. Don't buy into the "we only make $500-$1000 off each vehicle ". Even at the "wrong" price, they would have made $1500 of the listed value of the vehicle and $3500-$4000 if they sold it at the "actual" price. Bottom line, it's a shady car lot, just like any other. Car stickers say they have been repaired and list the supposed repairs done, but yet when I looked around the lot I saw many dented cars with broken windshields (most which were absolutely FILTHY inside)- makes me wonder if any repairs have actually been done if they aren't even willing to clean the car or fix simple cosmetics. When negotiating prices to account for repairs needed, salesman stated all cars are sold as-is and wouldn't budge on price. I took my business to Michaels Auto who was able to give me a much better deal. They fixed all the mechanical issues, changed the oil, replaced all fluids, and detailed the car before I bought it. Same model/year Suburu for $500 less and had 30k less miles. read more

The DMV doesn't have it, the military bank doesn't have it, and we are trying to leave the state for a deployment and we can't register the car. Recently purchased a 2017 Subaru Forester here, for a dealer the prices are the best in Denver, not too much over KBB. During test drive noticed window didn't work, they said after that they knew and would fix that before picking up after purchasing. Would have been better to warn before test drive so it didn't feel like something they were hiding. They were not willing to fix cracked windshield, which may be illegal? Appreciated how they cover an Uber to come get car up to $40. Less than a day after taking the car home, check engine light with catalytic converter code comes on. Local mechanic says most likely it has been like that for awhile and check engine light was just turned off before it was sold. Yikes. Confronted them on it, took 4 conversations before really listened to and would do test on it, very confusing process and they were mad at us for bringing it in when it came on next as instructed on the phone. We were not told to make an appointment. Then gaslighted and shamed, told we shouldn't be angry, but with standing our ground we got it replaced for free...but with a used one, so not even sure if in the long run we are going to be dealing with expensive repair all over again shortly? Trying to get a customer to apologize for being upset at a surprise repair costing thousands 1 day after buying? That's pretty low. Still, we hope after all of that we got a good quality car. Walking home from the park with my son and his friend the mechanics ,or whoever they were, went speeding at nearly 60mph down Kentucky. Nearly hitting not only my kid and his friend but also another teenager who was attempting to cross the road. I walked up to the business and confronted them and received a response of "I wasn't going that fast I was going 50." Then when I said the speed limit is 20 and a sorry doesn't negate the fact my children's lives were put at risk. the response received was "do something about it." The fact there is 0 concern of care that going 50 downs back street where children are crossing is disgusting from a business.
