So glad that we picked Allan Le as our wedding photographer! Prior to choosing him, my wife and I meticulously vetted a handful of other wedding photographers based on wedding portfolio, package pricing, schedule flexibility, and familiarity with a Vietnamese wedding. Needless to say, Allan Le checked all of those boxes and delivered on every one of them. We signed with him a year before our wedding. Throughout the process, Allan was very communicative via text and email. One thing that stands out to me is that our original engagement photoshoot date was forecasted to be rained on so Allan was very flexible in postponing it to a suitable date. At our engagement photoshoot, he knew where all the picturesque spots were at the LA Arboretum and came prepared with a wagon full of camera equipment. At our other location at USC campus, he found many inspirational shots that turned out amazing when we got the photo copies. On the days leading to our wedding day, Allan took the time to review our wedding schedule and provided great feedback on realistic time frames for each location. On the wedding day, he woke up early and arrived by 7am at my wife's location while he sent his assistant to my location to take pictures of me and my groomsmen. He was very knowledgeable about the traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony and gave great direction to everyone off the cuff because not everyone knew the process. Overall, he did a tremendous job throughout our wedding day to not be intrusive with our schedule, but rather, flexible with whatever we planned. Trust me, he's a very calm and easy-going guy. A few months after our wedding, we chose our photos to be added to the wedding photo album. Although it took a little longer than I thought, the final product was definitely worth the wait. We picked up the product at his house and it was well packaged, heavy, and had a thick picturesque cover. Each page was filled with great shots of happy memories on our engagement and wedding day, which our parents even complemented. We've already recommended Allan to a friend of ours and it was awesome seeing his photography craft on her wedding day, but as a guest this time. After tons of research, I decided to contact Allan based on package prices and what he had to offer compared to other vendors. He didn't pick up when I initially called him since he was on a shoot that day but he made sure to give me a call back and after a long phone and in-person "interview", we decided to pick him for our special day! Before I know about Allan.. I have contacted two other photographers. Our wedding was on July 2017. But I've already searching for photographer back in August of 2016. I know that our wedding will only be one day.. but pictures are for forever. So to me finding a good photographer is not easy. On top of that I am picky. From August 2016 to January 2017, my fiancé then did not get a chance to meet Allan due to work. I was the only one asking questions and giving him a hard time (jk) .. so I'm really scared that my husband might not click w Allan..because my fiancé only met Allan on the actual engagement photoshoot day.. But Allan made it very fun and wonderful experience for both of us on our engagement day. Be careful with Allan as he can flake and cancel on your wedding contract last minute and ruin the best day of your life like he did for us. This is extreme unprofessionalism and shows no moral or conscience in a person who intentionally quits on you 2 months before your wedding, leaving you scrambling to find a last minute replacement on top of all the other stresses. On legal terms, we could've sued him and make it far worse for his guiltless conscience, but we are better than him and his low level & rude actions. I do believe in karma and what goes around come around though. Allan signed a contract with us to render his service, but he did not honor it and quit based on his own personal issues or what not. His wishy washy attitude shows no responsibility or professionalism to complete what he promised to do by signing his name on the written contract. And for him to respond to my honest review by criticizing and attacking my other reviews as a yelper, shows true unprofessionalism and deflecting what is the true focus: my review of him. Allan was a joy to work with! I used Allan for an engagement photo shoot since he wasn't available for my wedding. We rescheduled 3 times because of the weather and he was super flexible about it. During our photo shoot, we were able to go to multiple sites in just one day. That was one long day! But it was really for the best so we wouldn't have to take an extra day off work or book my makeup artist twice. He had a great personality so even when we got frustrated (and I'm sure you will), the photo shoot was still lighthearted and successful. My fiancé and I live in LA and our schedule is not the easiest to work with but Allan managed to fit us in his SUPER BUSY schedule with his full time job and 2nd full time job as a photographer.
