First time here and it certainly won't be my last! Walked in with my mom at around 3pm and we were seated right away. The inside is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Our waitress was Catherine and she was outstanding! Ordered the falafel and stuffed grape leaves appetizer and split a kufta kebab plate. Everything was fresh and tasty. I went there for the first time this past Sunday before a drive back down to my home city and I am so glad I did! We ordered 2 chicken kebab pita sandwiches and I customized mine by swapping the traditional salad with an Israeli salad--great move. The salad was refreshing and blended perfectly with the warm pita, juicy grilled chicken, and yummy tahini. It is an hour drive from where I live and I would go back in a flash! I really, really, really love the food at Allan's! On top of that, they are a friendly place to go on for a great atmosphere with some great food. Exceptional middle eastern food ! Vegan options are excellent. Everything we ordered on the menu has been top notch. If you want lamb, though, as my guest found out recently, you may think it comes on a kebab with chicken as it appears on the menu, but it doesn't -- it's a mix of shredded beef and lamb. We're from Florida visiting family in this area and they just raved about this place. We tried it and it was AH-MAZING!!! Best falafel. Shwarma was soooo good. The kabobs were delicious! Baklava was to die for. Service was excellent and super friendly. Our friend had never had Baklava, tried it for the first time and had to order some to take home. Love Love Love this little gem of a restaurant! Allan and Tanya have outdone themselves - two of the hardest working people we know. Food is always made fresh and seasoned perfectly. I want to go back to try other items, in case this was a fluke, but the gyro had to be one of the worst things I've ever put in my mouth. It wasn't the "typical" gyro meat - it was more like shwarma, shredded meat. And very tough and completely tasteless. The sauce was also not typical tzatziki but was watery tahini. If I'm insulting some regional way to serve gyros, I'm sorry, but it was an awful version. read more

Our office had a lot of take out food yesterday. EVERYTHING was AMAZING!! I've never had hummus so flavorful and fresh. It was my first time trying a falafel and theirs did not disappoint.
