    Spicy gyro egg rolls

This is by far one of the better options in town. The portions are huge for the price. It is Mediterranean food with Greek and Lebanese influence as far as I can tell. The doner platter was very good and enough food for 2 meals. Lots of variety in the platter, and they have 3 sauces you can get (tahini, red pepper, and tzatziki). The empanadas are Lebanese style - more of a meat pie - they are very big and filled with beef and an egg. My favorite item so far are the spicy gyro egg rolls - SO GOOD. Just enough spice and the dipping sauce is awesome. I have had bites of the gyro, which are also really big portions. I want to try the chicken next. Right before this place opened I was saying this town needed a Mediterranean restaurant. They heard my call!

Finally got to try here, it's bit hard to know when they open due to lack of hours posted on door. That said, I will say the service is very warm and inviting, the son manages the counter and the dad cook up. When me and my friend went here, there was no issues, asking for extra sauce or to go containers, the son was very polite and willing to a great server. Plus offered the cheaper lunch special when I was thinking on full platter, let me tell the lunch special is plenty of food as it is. I mean fries, rice, side salad and the protein, it was so much food, I can't imagine how much more I would gotten with the full size platter. The meat was very tender, well seasoned and juicy, fries were piping hot and lightly salted, rice was very seasoned and fluffily and side salad, well was great, but definitely could been dressed bit more. I like white and red sauce and got more since helped the salad and honestly love true homemade sauce. Well worth the trip to finally try them here. Still find it crazy a lunch special give that much food, you definitely get spoiled here, appreciated a place that does not use the current economy to be cheap, and puts customers first.

Read previous reviews and wanted a reason to grab lunch anyway in the area and glad everything worked out well. Food is very good and decent portions for a relatively inexpensive place. Only downside is the size of restaurant is limited to two tables and bar stool seating which is fine for eating in or take out.

This small restaurant has the best Giros I've ever had, and the service is excellent.

The space itself is spectacular, and the views are absolutely magnificent; definitely a beautiful way to start the evening. We were seated immediately, which was appreciated. Unfortunately, the service felt a little off throughout the night. The servers did their job, but they weren't particularly attentive or especially friendly, which took away from the overall experience. We both ordered the three-course meal from the Cherry Blossom Spring Menu. My wife had a non-alcoholic drink that she loved, while I ordered the Blueskin's Bounce, a rye cocktail with cherry liqueur. My drink was just okay. For her meal, she ordered the local burrata, the Chilean sea bass, and the black sesame cheesecake. She really enjoyed the sea bass, but the cheesecake was disappointing. I had the tuna crudo, the cherry-glazed duck breast, and the cherry blossom panna cotta. Unfortunately, the duck was extremely tough, almost impossible to cut or chew, and the panna cotta was bland and forgettable. Overall, despite the stunning atmosphere and views, the food and service did not live up to expectations, especially for a birthday dinner. Sadly, I wouldn't return.

I took a quick look at the ratings and the food photos and that was enough for us to set the GPS for the Stone House. Entering, we were greeted immediately and made to feel very welcome. The dining room was lively but we had a nice table and soon had water and bread, which came with a delicious sauce of some kind that had vegetables and cheese in it. It was so good they should sell jars of it! We ordered some shrimp cocktail to start (those were some giant shrimp, although it was only three and four would have been a nice even number) and then I had the rib eye for my main. It doesn't come with anything so I ordered fries on the side. That steak was outstanding! The flavor, the texture...everything was amazing. It came out on a sizzling skillet and it tasted as good as it looked. It was also so big that I took half of it home for lunch and if possible, it tasted even better the next day. I was very pleased. The fries were also exceptional and even though the serving was big, I ate them all. I couldn't help myself! Since I took half of my steak home, I decided there was room for dessert and the chocolate mousse didn't disappoint. The food was so good and the service was so warm and friendly, I definitely want to go back to Stone House Grill. If you're nearby, stop in for a meal. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

We just got back from a restaurant where we celebrated Father's Day…read more The place looks very nice: it's clean and has a calm atmosphere. We ordered oysters, prosciutto with watermelon, chickpea-crusted fried calamari, scallops, and two pasta dishes--one with veal and the other with scallops. Plus cocktails and wine. The oysters were magnificent--fresh and delicious. The pasta wasn't particularly memorable, but the scallops turned out to be very tasty... While the dishes weren't extraordinary, they were certainly tasty enough. The most unpleasant--and even awkward--part was that the waiters were in no rush to clear away dirty dishes (and sometimes didn't do it at all), even though the tables there are quite small. You end up eating surrounded by dirty plates and glasses, which certainly doesn't help the impression of the service quality. Even when we asked for the dishes to be cleared, it didn't happen. We were told they would clear everything when they brought our second round of cocktails, but since the cocktails never arrived, the dirty dishes stayed on the table. It's unlikely we'll visit this restaurant again. We live just a seven-minute drive away, but we have no desire to spend over $300 again to eat in an atmosphere reminiscent of a roadside diner.

Their pollo classico is my absolute favorite--it's always cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Beyond that, the menu offers many other fine dishes to satisfy any craving. The wine list is impressive, with a great selection to pair with every meal. And for dessert lovers, you can't go wrong with their Spanish flan or the rich and creamy tiramisu--both are wonderful finishes to a great dinner. Consistently excellent food, warm atmosphere, and quality service make this one of my go-to places when I want something truly special.
