I moved up to Chester four years ago and have Visited a good majority of pizza shops and I must say here is Chester's hidden gem Tina's Pizza Café restaurant as far none the best amazing the pizzas phenomenal. The cheesesteak made me feel like I was back in Philly and the chicken Parm, Mamma Mia, Mia. Everything was amazing. The staff, the service, the owner, the place feels homey the music, the food served hot the atmosphere beautiful This place has been my go to spot. from the french fries. Look out McDonald's you have competition to the teriyaki chicken wings can't get enough of that. I thought it would be for the small pizza price and they just gave me the pizza. Eating it now. It's good. I can't say this is my favorite place to get pizza but it is definitely in my top 3. The pizza is so flavorful and it's my favorite place to eat in Chester, especially with the limited food options in this area. Staff are so kind and my daughter loves eating here as well. Only thing I wish was improved was the amount of oil that seems to be put in the penne Al a vodka sauce, but even with the oil it is still tasty. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a flavorful slice of pizza. I think they have the best sauce recipe in the 845 out of the places I have tried. My Father and I went to Tina's Pizza Cafe & Restaurant. The food was amazing! Everyone was very nice. When we walked in we just asked if we could take a seat and they told us to pick any seat. When we sat down our waitress brought us a menu right away and took down our drinks. For our appetizers we got the meatballs with ricotta cheese and the garlic bread. The meat balls were very soft and they tasted so good a definite recommend. The garlic bread was very garlicky but tasted very good. After the appetizer then they bring out bread and butter. The bread was so nice and soft. For the dinner I got two chicken cutlets which were very good. My Dad got chicken parmigiana with a side of pasta with penne alla vodka. He said it tasted very good as well. Right before they brought out our food they took our bread basket away which we wanted to keep so we could dip it into the sauce. When we asked for another bread basket they brought it to us but they charged us for it when we could've just had the bread that we still had left from the other bread basket. We were fortunate to have stumbled on Tina's while on our home to PA. We wanted to get something to eat. We were on RT. 17 going thru Chester. We were not disappointed by our stop here. The menu is large and varied. People were friendly and polite. The only negative is that we they are not closer to our home. Delicious! read more

I've tried this place multiple times. The back is dirty. All I dare to eat is the plain slice.. which is basically all a disgusting crust. The hardly put any sauce or cheese on it. Not to mention as soon as you pick it Up you can't even take a bite because it's so floppy and rips in half. This is the same case EVERY time. And the flavor is gross. It's just a nasty pizza spot. I discovered this hidden gem years ago when I was working nearby. Before I knew it, Tina's had become my goto pizza spot in the Chester/Rt.17/I-86 corridor. Several reviews have already touched on the big slices, but these slices are LOADED with toppings (unless you get yours plain, of course). The crust is crisp and the sauce and cheese are in the right proportion for an excellent pizza experience. There are basically two pizza places worth talking about in Chester: Brother Bruno's, and Tina's. They're pretty comparable in price (cheap) and atmosphere (typical casual pizzeria). If you just want a standard cheese pie, Brother Bruno's is the place to go. For everything else, it's Tina's. Better garlic knots, better sandwiches, better specialty pies. Outstanding buffalo chicken and bbq chicken slices. Tina's location is also a little more convenient, since you don't need to deal with a busy supermarket parking lot. You just have to deal with a pothole-riddled strip mall parking lot instead. Plus - and this is a big one - Tina's DELIVERS. In which case, you don't need to deal with any parking lots at all. Best pizza I've had in sixteen years!!!!!!! I just moved to the upstate NY with my wife and girls about three weeks ago and we hit up this small town eatery on a whim. Jeepers Creepers we were not disappointed!!!! Slices were huge, so were the Dinners and everything was just delightful. The young man behind the counter (I believe his name was Stan) was cheerful and tended to our every need. Like I said I moved here three weeks ago and I go to Tina's at least three times a day. Tina's Pizza is ehhh. Much better options for pizza or italian food in the area. I highly recommend Planet Pizza in Monroe or even Cosimo's in Central Valley. It's worth the extra drive. If you're just looking for a convenient place to get a slice, that's what you'll get but don't expect great food. This Restaurant and the Chef Sal have been there for a long time, which in today's market says something that the restaurant has stayed open for as long as it has. But there food is mediocre at best. The slices are overpriced (almost $5 a slice) and the last time I went in there all the tables (in the sitdown area) were filthy. All the tables were empty but none of them had been wiped down. They all had grease and crumbs all over the tables and chairs. There were about 6 kids working behind the counter all standing around BSing so I don't know why one of them couldn't have grabbed a rag and wiped down the tables--especially with what's going on. All the Chester cops eat here b/c the restaurant gives them a heavy discount on the food. There's much better places to eat, but I go here sometimes b/c it's close. read more

Tina's just delivered the most beautiful, proper pepperoni pizza to my house. This is what I expect when I order a pepperoni pie in NY. It's gotta be super thin, absolutely messy with cheese, plenty of pepperonis per slice, and the orange grease.. perfectly baked pepperoni cups with a small lake of orange grease inside that rolls off when you pick it up. I was so blown away by this gorgeous pie that I just had to leave this review. I did also get the chicken bacon ranch pizza and a chicken parm sandwich that was perfectly seasoned, all delicious, but that pepperoni brought me to Yelp. Enjoy! read more

just moved to chester, and decided to order from tina's because we were in the middle of unpacking. ordered margrite pizza. the crust is too doughy and not crunchy, there were wedges of tomatoes (not thin round slices), it had parm cheese (along with mozz) and no basil. when we called, they asked if we wanted spinach...hmm, weird, i thought. and wanted to just order a plain pizza cuz i had a weird feeling. The only thing that keeps me from giving this place five stars is the carpeting, which has seen better days. They make the BEST meatball hero I've ever had. Their garlic knots, which come in a sea of oil and garlic, are outstanding. The chicken parm dinner is huge--hubby and I shared and still had leftovers--but unlike others who serve huge portions the quality isn't compromised. I ordered a large pie for delivery. The girl told me it would be $13.05 plus tax. Once the delivery driver got here he told me the total is $17.05. I couldn't understand why I was being charged that amount so I had the delivery driver call and ask. They stated it was tax and "delivery cost". I then asked if they had included a tip. Have to say my friend and I were very disappointed with Tina's. We ordered for delivery last night. It was somewhat late so I decided to tell the young lady on the phone I would pay with card and tip the deliverer with cash to make it an easier transaction. 7 dollars tip for a less than 1 mile trip (for the inconvenience as it was late). We ordered a half and half specialty pie. I asked the young lady who took my order to give the driver my phone number so he could call me when he arrived as this was in a complex. She even read the number back to me to confirm. However, she forgot to do this so I had to stand outside and keep a look out for the driver. Now to the pizza. It was completely soggy, greasy, and uneven. Couldn't even pick up a slice without all of the toppings and cheese sliding right off. Looked like they rushed it even though it took 50 minutes. I will attatch a picture. My friend's sister ordered a calzone which she couldn't even finish, she said the cheese inside was too ricotta heavy and flavorless. For spending over 30 dollars I definitely expected more. I won't ever order or eat here again. I even considered going in and asking for my money back but I'm not s big believe in that so instead chose to write this review.
