This place a true hidden gem with super authentic Greek food. The prices are very reasonable but the quality of the food was great. This place is 9 minutes away from the Woodbury Commons Outlet and way better than the food options there. Service was super quick and the staff was on point. My fiancé and I got the beef/lamb gyro combo sandwich with baklava and their orange phyllo dough cake for dessert. The orange cake is a must, so delicious and moist. Staff was very accommodating to my large group, and tables can easily be rearranged if the restaurant isn't busy. Food was hit or miss. I liked the salad and lemon potatoes with the lamb souvlaki, but the actual meat didn't impress me. The tzatziki tasted house-made though, which was pretty great. I was just visiting this area and the hotel recommended this place and it is an amazing restaurant! The salad had just the right amount of dressing and I added the grape leaves as an appetizer which tasted fantastic. The lamb shank was so tender and it literally fell off the bone! We loved the food, everything was delicious. We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back home and will definitely go back. Our server, Kevin, was very nice and courteous. The only thing that made our experience uncomfortable was this other server who was there. He was not our server but he kept coming to the table and was trying to clear plates while we were still eating. We appreciate he was trying to help out and make room, but we were clearly still eating. Read the room maybe?! We asked our server for the check and he dropped it off. The server told us they were out of the others. I ordered pastichio. It was ok, nothing special for $22.00. My friend ordered the Veggie Combo plate. It included 3 mini spanikopita, 2 zucchini cakes, 3 falafel and a bowl of hummus on top of some chopped up lettuce and peppers. It was $24.00 and she was charged a dollar for a pita bread. We aren't sure how they expected people to eat the hummus. The vegetables were chopped small. She had specified no green peppers in her salad and yet half the veggies on the plate were green peppers. We ate here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. When we searched for a lunch spot, the other place came up and we realized it closed, but still went inside. I loved everything about this place. It has a nice charm with the owners actually around and engaging. I definitely got a they care for their customers over making a dollar vibe. We both got gyro sandwiches and the pitas were very fresh and they tasted really good. The onions were not overpowering and the chicken I had was edible. I am more white meat over dark so I do mot like the fatty pieces and this was perfect! Even their French fries were cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor to them.
