I found Allbright through Groupon, which had high reviews of the service. Mark did a terrific job cleaning the carpet on the stairs going down to the garage. They were nasty from years of tromping and coffee spills. Mark had to navigate through my garage which is a disaster at the moment, but he was very courteous and didn't say a word about it! Sadly I found out that you get what you paid for. I purchased a living social deal for 3 rooms just to touch up a few heavy traffic areas. Mark commented on how many carpets didn't look like they really needed to be clean, but for the price, I thought I would get them cleaned before Xmas. What a mistake!! They look worse and have never looked so bad. I have had my carpets cleaned by multiple companies before and have never had some much wick back before. This is caused by over wetting the carpets and not using the right chemicals. He wasn't even going to Prespray a spot and I had to tell him that I would go ahead and do it with something I had. This is the only spot that looks good! I know have 3 dark spots all throughout my carpet where his jets are in his wand. Mark really needs to learn how to clean carpets because all he is doing is making a big mess in people's home which is why he is probably trying to get more business on Livingsocial. The vendor was not communicative. I reached out multiple times to ask questions about his services and he only got back to me once. When he arrived I asked the questions I had and he seemed annoyed. I reminded him that I had reached out several times with no response from him. He finished the job quickly ... too quickly ... i don't feel he gave the cleaning time and energy it needed. The cleaning looks uneven like if he was in a hurry. I guess I get what I paid for. What a shame. Will never use this guy again. We bought a groupon for Albright Sherwood cleaning services and then spent a week trying to get a hold of him to setup the appt. The groupon said to give at least 3 days heads up, we still had more then a week before our move. Man on the phone said he couldn't make it until June which was past the time we needed the cleaning. Was given a call ahead of time, which was nice and he was on time. The carpet guy finished a 3 bedroom house in about 30 minutes. He didn't even try to get any of the stains out. I could have done a better job renting one at the local store and doing it myself and wish I would have. He packed away so fast did not even ask if we were happy with the cleaning. Mark was really great at working with me when I had to change my appointment 5 different times (the closing date on our house kept changing). We ended up getting the keys Friday evening and Mark graciously offered to come over first thing Saturday morning so we could dry the carpets and move in as soon as possible. The carpets look great except for a few hard stains that no other company would have been able to remove. The price was just right. Absolutely FAN-Freakin-Tastic!! My husband and I were expecting our first child so we were moving from a 3-story townhouse to a single level home. Our landlords were amazing people so we decided to spend a little extra on moving costs to have all of the floors cleaned... and let me tell you, in a 3-story home that means a LOT of floor space! I called around to some of the more well-advertised cleaners and kept getting inflated pricing and so-so customer service. Finally I called Allbright Cleaning Service. Thank goodness! Mark gave me a quote that was far better than any I had received from all the other cleaning companies! I set an appointment right away. Mark wasn't just on time, he was early! That made my life so much easier for I was already on location finishing with some deep-cleaning. Keep in mind I was 71/2 mos. pregnant! He made sure I never had to move/lift a thing! Such a gentleman. What's even more impressive was the cleaning job itself... we had a roommate at one time who was less than cleanly and we actually thought we might have to pay for all new carpet in his old room considering the damage. Mark said he would pre-treat the room at no extra charge and that it should clean up just fine. I was skeptical, again considering that the carpet was severely stained throughout. No problem at all! It looked brand new by the time he was done! Amazing. I will NEVER use another cleaning service. We had Allbright come in and do a 4 room carpet cleaning. First, the appointment was for 9:00am and the guy showed up at 8:30am with us not home yet, insisting the appointment was for 8:30am. As I drove up, he was using my trashcan to throw things away, very unprofessional Save your personal trash for your own company trashcan! And he had taken the very middle of the driveway, when he could have easily stayed to one side, to get another car safely in the driveway. We have no couches in the house as we are in the process of getting new ones, so there were maybe one or two items that needed to be picked up off the floor, but the guy didn't lift a finger to so. He even asked if the little 2x3 bathroom mat would be picked up in front of the master sink. Uh, yeah, I'm 8 months pregnant, you see me picking up toys and moving tables, and you can't even move that aside yourself? Then he came through and sprayed, seemingly unevenly and went once over every room. The noticeable spots did come up for the most part, but no special care to go over them twice or anything was made. There was a spot that hugged the wall in one of the bedroom where our dog had vomited and upon closer inspection after the guy had left, he missed at least a whole inch from the wall out, so the spot is still crusty. He also did not care to move a small one one drawer end table to the side to get underneath that, or a 2 pound IKEA lamp either. When he left, he left the house in the garage laying on the garage floor; didn't even attempt to coil it back up, so of course, I drove on it when I could finally get in the garage. We have tried to contact this company to talk about our concerns and possibly get someone back to redo the spot the wasn't gone over at all, but to no avail. Left a message with a receptionist and also called another phone number that was given at time of booking and left several messages. I have also tried to contact this company via email through their website (when showing interest in getting service, we got a response this way within 1 day). It's been almost a whole week, and no one had bothered to call us back. Too bad we could not cancel the check in time! Poor service! read more

On overall experience, I would give 0 stars but I will give 1 star for a little effort. I went with Allbright Carpet Cleaning because they gave me an awesome special that other carpet cleaners could not beat! I checked their website and youtube video and it convinced me enough that I should go with them. They came in a two team. They were friendly, confident and assured me that they will do a great job. Well, they didn't. After they were done, they loaded the equipment back into their van. I did a walk-thru and was stunned to see many spots left (not stains). There were spots left in every room and I could tell they didn't do a thorough job. I was very disappointed and more so because they didn't acknowledge that there were spots left or even asked if I was satisfied . The owner didn't do a walk thru himself because when I complained, he wasn't aware of the spots. He said his partner was new but even so, he should've checked to see if his partner did a thorough job. I could tell he was upset that I wasn't satisfied because he didn't respond and I was talking to myself. However, he did re-do the carpet and went over the spots and got most of them out. I was satisfied with that part and thanked him for that. BUT after they left, I inspected my carpet myself and discovered damages on the edges of my wall where their hose was rubbing against while cleaning. There was also damage on the edge of my bedroom door frame where the paint was chipped off and you could see the wood inside. There is also blue line smudges on the wall from the blue hose and the white paint chipped off! They didn't protect the edges of my walls or my wood floor. There was a puddle of water from the stairs to my front door that I had to wipe off myself. The spots should've came off the first time so that they wouldn't have to pull all their equipment out the second time to re do it. After they cleaned it the first time, they didn't wear plastic booties and tracked dirt back into the carpet. This just took so much of my time and was not a pleasant experience. The fact that I had to go over and scrub the spots that they should've gotten out really upsets me. I really wished I hadn't written that check out to them. (This was before I discovered the damages) Before hiring a carpet cleaner , make sure you ask if they use protection for your walls, furniture, floor and doors. Also, let them know that after they are done and before they put their equipment away to let you know so you could do a walk-thru in case any spots are left. They did not do what they offered on their website and this is misleading customers. I would not recommend AllBright Carpet Cleaning to anyone. read more

My husband and I have used a couple different companies that advertise in the clippers magazine. We decided to try this company out and didn't think twice about it considering we have had good luck with companies in the past . We even own a dog and have always been pleased with the outcome of how clean the carpets smelled. The guy that cleaned our carpets was on time and was done quickly. Prior to cleaning them, he sprayed a solution on the carpet. I thought this was maybe a pre treatement but now am convinced that it was the only cleaning solution he used. I noticed that there wasn't a fresh smell in the house. In the past we have always noticed a fresh clean scent after the carpets had been cleaned, at least with other companies and that was at our old house which had really nasty carpet. The carpet that we have in our new house is only a year old. So, I thought maybe it needed time to dry to smell better. The next day I smelled the carpet up close. It smelled like our dog. Prior to Allbright cleaning the carpets, the carpet had a slight hint of dog smell hence the reason we wanted them cleaned, but like I said before the other companies we have gone through have always been able to get rid of any weird smells. Two days after they cleaned the carpets, I really started to notice that our house wreaked of dog. Much worse than before! I am not the type to call up a company and demand for my money back, nor do I want them touching my carpet again. This company did not use steam cleaning, in fact I could have rented a rug doctor and done a better job myself. The smell is so much stronger that we now have to pay another company to come fix what All Bright did. Giving this company one star pretty much makes me want to vomit, but I wont cause then I would be afraid of getting it on my carpet and making the smell even worse. So folks, the moral of this story is do not use All Bright unless you like throwing money away. read more
