I have a brain tumor and my hubby is bipolor, so we see the doctor every month, not the doc all the time. But we have prescriptions that can not be called in or refilled, So each month we both have to pick them up. We are at the pharmacy every two weeks. So in four years they know are cats names, birthdays, problems with our families if there are any. I just love the place, everyone is so nice and super caring, not to mention great at their jobs. It's nothing fancy but if you need anything by manner of toiletries, medications (they also have a pharmacy), first aid items, etc they've got it. I've definitely bought my share of aloe more than once here after a wicked sunburn from the beach. They also have a small toy selection, a few self-care/beauty things, etc. Pretty much anything you forgot to throw in your suitcase you can get replaced here. I also absolutely love that they still have the old soda fountain counter in the back. We love going and splitting a soda or a float like we're kids in the 1950s. The one thing I do miss is the large selection they used to have of beach toys and whatnot. Every visit we'd buy a kite to fly at the beach, or something goofy to take to oval like a big beach umbrella, chairs, or blow up floaties. It was always the highlight of our trip and I miss it!

The reason I purchased a yearly supply was because of the $400 rebate from acuvue Kat informed me of. Saying it was a pretty incredible rebate. $400 rebate? Why wouldn't I purchase the year supply? Kat (along with another employee) told me all I had to do was go to the acuvue website follow the reward instructions and make sure I input a NEW email address. I did that. It did not give me a $400 rebate only a $100 rebate. Kat left me a voicemail saying "Jenny we talked about this, you must've forgotten, make sure you're using a work email or different email." I don't even have a work email because I'm a stay-at-home mom (hence why the $300 loss is a hard one.) I called kat back to inform her it's not an email address I needed, then they gave me two codes to input on the acuvue rewards website. I submitted all the necessary info. Still, a $100 rebate. Even if you use a new email- acuvue still has your information. You make a new profile with a new email address, you still have to input your first name and your last name your mailing address and your date of birth, using a new email doesn't do anything. So instead of getting the $400 rebate I was assured of receiving multiple times. I lost $300 and am only receiving $100. Not a single employee ever knows what's going on there and will steer you in any direction to get your money. Go elsewhere, learn from my loss!

There's a full aisle of Hallmark cards, another aisle of wrapping paper and other gift wrapping items, lots of yummy candies including big brands like jelly belly and Russell Stover and a local section featuring Hellman's nuts and candies. They also have a full service pharmacy, and an ice cream shop at the front of the store.

They are in direct violation of Michigan Act 469 of 2008 requiring business to let people use the bathroom who have a medical condition. I know their bathroom is in the stock room but they could partition the access to the john. Also, there were more than two people working at the time. Won't be back.
