White Magnolia Milk Tea - Floral without being perfumey or too sharp! Pretty good balance of tea to milk ratio and reminds me of molly tea. 4/5 Jasmine Milk Tea - honestly pretty good too. feels like a molly tea knock off with the menu offerings, cup designs and even flavor profile. its slightly too sharp but still good. 3.75/5 Da Hong Pao Milk Tea - the tea flavor is there but it doesn't mix as well as the magnolia or jasmine. I think they are better at more floral teas but this wasnt bad. 2/5 Banana Pudding Matcha - Banana flavor was not strong, it was not sweet when it should have definitely been more sweet and the flavors just didnt mix very well 0.5/5 Portugese Tart - pretty good but nothing too memorable 2.75/5

The tofu steam bun -- easily my favorite lunch item in the area -- really didn't work. It's still an interesting experience but I really can't recommend a place I now avoid. --- PROS - Interesting selection, interesting food, lots of options, overall friendly staff. - Bathrooms were clean. The interior of the restaurant seemed like a good meeting/date spot. Although they had Wifi, I wouldn't call this a great place to come and study or get work done, although I saw people doing that. I've had the Vietnamese coffee twice, the first time was great, the second time was just okay. Food items are very unique, so much so I didn't like some of them but I still enjoyed the experience. Try something that sounds weird, it's half the fun of coming in here. CONS * Allergies - it wasn't clear what all everything was made with so if you're trying to avoid gluten or peanuts or eggs, I didn't see much on ingredients. I know for some people that's a red flag. * The tea. We just thought it was above average but not amazing. I mean its right in the name, come on. * Collecting items - you gotta look for the little trays and the salad tongs. That's what you use to grab stuff out of the cases. I know for most people that was super obvious but it wasn't for me. * Summertime note: during the hotter months I've noticed they seem to have some issues with keeping things cool.

While the restaurant has a few tables for dining, this restaurant appears to be a order and go type of place, which is primarily patronized by folks working in construction and landscaping. Although the two workers speak limited English, you might have a better experience if you can communicate in some Spanish. Looking back, I wish that I went with a Latin breakfast (eg, a breakfast pupusa) instead of a "standard" bacon, egg, cheese bagel. There wasn't anything wrong with the sandwich, but I realized that I could get this type of sandwich from any breakfast place in the area. However, I'll blame my choice of ordering my breakfast sandwich over a breakfast pupusa on the fact that I was still in sleep mode. ;) I thought the prices were pretty fair. My bacon, egg, cheese bagel + a side of potatoes + a can of Diet Coke was about 10 bucks. One tip (pun intended), bring cash for a tip. Unfortunately, their electronic payment system isn't set up to add a tip to your payment. Although I would not go out of my way to stop here, it is nice to have another early-morning breakfast option that isn't a fast food spot. One other thing: parking is VERY limited (like most places in this area) because I think the storefront only has 2-3 parking spots. Also, I'm not sure how strict other business are regarding folks parking in their spots.

The cafe on the ground floor of Total Wine HA. The entrance might be a bit hard to find, but it is on the side that is facing the main road. While it's a small cafe, it has a menu that contains various salads, soups, and sandwiches. Also, I believe Rock Cafe has Indian food on Mondays and Thursdays. Since I visited on a Thursday and didn't want a sandwich, I decided to go with the Butter Chicken. OMG! The dish was so yummy. In fact, the plan was to eat half of it and save the rest for dinner. However, it was so delicious that I ate the entire thing! The owner/manager has a great rapport with the Rock Cafe's visitors and seems to be on a first name basis with many of them. I have a feeling that I will have a few more lunches at Rock Cafe.

Nice full-size sandwich, nothing fancy, but filling enough. Other reviews mention this, but might as well: the entrance towards the main parking lot is secured. There is an entrance facing the road, with limited parking, that you won't need to bother the security guard to access. (Shoutout to the guard today though, who saw me looking confused and knew right away where I was trying to go.)

I have to tell you that my granddaughter absolutely adores Jamie's challah rolls. She has a severe gluten allergy and celiacs disease. So, to find a bakery that makes delicious baked goods that she can eat, is a true miracle. I even order extra to take home with her after our holiday dinner. Red Bandana's cupcakes have become a birthday staple in our home. The service, the selection, and the quality are all fabulous. I even met my neighbor picking up baked goods at the same time. The very best part is that my granddaughter can feel just like everyone else, enjoying her delicious baked goods, with no fear of a food allergy reaction. Thank you Jamie and Red Bandana Bakery.

The cake ordering form is also very clear and easy to do substitutions and customizations. They were very friendly through the whole process and pickup was very smooth. As for the cake itself, I am personally not that well versed in gluten free/ dairy free desserts but my aunt enjoyed the cake! The cake to me was both moist but also dense at the same time; I personally like a more fluffy/ airy cake but that's my preference. The strawberry frosting was on the sweeter side; dense and sweet but honestly very nice strawberry flavor. The cake itself was beautiful! The filling was apricot reserves/jam. It was yummy, but I did feel like maybe it wasn't enough filling/ there needed to be something else in there as well that's light and airy to offset the more dense cake. Overall though, I would definitely come here again for a gluten-free/dairy free cake. The people here and the service here is excellent and the cakes are beautiful.
