Alex then immediately gave us three excellent suggestions for visiting and accompanying us on the tours. He then assisted personally with the transition. After the transition he helped in finding an Adult Daily Living agency to provide the daily care. Overall our family would strongly recommend Alex for his personal experience and excellent resources.

This is a huge decision and it's reassuring to know that there is someone staying on top of the numerous offerings out there and who is super accessible and communicates well. I won't hesitate to call him if I need placement help again.

Dr Utamsingh is treating my mother, who is a resident in the memory care wing of an assisted living…read morefacility. I reached out to him via fax regarding her prescriptions. He responded in an aggressively defensive manner, insinuating that I was deficient in the care of my mother, while simultaneously getting my mother's medical history completely wrong. Rudeness combined with incompetence is an unacceptable combination in my opinion. I would suggest avoiding him and his practice if at all possible.

I was assigned Dr. Utamsingh as a primary doctor because I needed a physical to be done. He said I…read moreneeded a follow up to do the physical. Prescribed lotion for a rash on my hand that cost $219(with insurance)!!! I had to go to ER do to an allergic reaction to Amoxicillan, listed him as my primary upon checking in. He arrived the following morning, and had no idea who I was, no recollection on anything, spent 2 minutes at most with me and said it wasn't serious. Another doctor from Infectious Disease came in to evaluate me, spent 15 minutes more with me(a doctor I've never seen before who showed more concern and paid more attention) and said I did not need to stay at hospital. A family emergency came up and I was ready to be released, but the nurses said I had to be released by DR. Utamsingh. I asked if they could get in contact with him so I may be released since everything stated to me was okay to go. They said he was unreachable and I would have to wait until morning. I signed the waver to release myself, and the nurses suggested I contact him in the morning(since he's always in early according to them) or leave a message at the office to write a prescription for the steroids needed to wean off the Prednisone. I called and left a message at the office at 10:14pm. My phone rang back at 10:19pm, I answered after 2 rings and whoever called me from the office hung up. I called back, once again leaving a message to call me. Dr. Utamsingh called me back at 10:24. I explained to him my reason for calling, he asked me what was the emergency I had to leave the hospital for(which is personal and he has no right to ask such a thing), then told me I could have lost my life today even though he spent all of 2 minutes with me and told me it was nothing serious, and said "Your brother could be visiting your embalmed body!" If it was that serious, why did he not say that to me at the hospital? He raised his voice to me over the phone(what professional doctor does that?), and questioned why am I calling him now and not call him when I was still at the hospital. I told him I did not have his number with me while I was there, and I requested the nurses at the hospital before I was released to contact him, and they tried and said "He was unreachable". That's why I left an office message when I found the phone number. I asked if I could stop by his office first thing in the morning to pick up the prescription, and, with his voice still being raised at me, he told me I have to make an appointment first like everyone else and HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME! How can he say I could have died and my brother could be "seeing my embalmed body", and still deny a prescription he knew in advance I would need first thing in the morning and had to make an appointment first. I have never experienced, nor wish anyone to ever experience the horrific bedside manner and extreme unprofessionalism that I have from a person who is considered a medical doctor.
