Great Italian location. There is a lot of seating but reservations are preferred. The food was excellent to include the drinks and desert. Wait staff is excellent and attentive.

Atmosphere was great, bartender was so informative and it was One of the best meals I have ever had! The Tennessee Back Road cocktail was so good, the Caesar salad was perfect and the Raviolo was phenomenal! The strawberry desert tasted just like the freshest version of the old strawberry shortcake ice cream bar you could get from the ice cream truck and took us right back to our childhood in the best way! We will be returning on every trip we make to Chattanooga! Only regret is that they aren't open any other nights we are here this weekend because of the July 4th holiday, or we would be going back again in this trip!

Dark and rustic style ambiance, very welcoming and date night atmosphere. From start to finish service was amazing! Jack went above and beyond without being asked, very knowledgeable and just created a memorable experience all together, five stars for the service alone. The lasagna was divine, the meat tasted just like birria, Jack brought out a little side of chili oil that made it a 10/10. The calamari had a good saltiness that was well balanced with the lemon and sauce on it. The pizza I changed up a meat and added ricotta was very tasty and ohh my I devoured the tiramisu in seconds, the best one I've had. Highly recommend this spot.

Service was very good . The waiter was knowledgeable and attentive. My daughter went last week and the waitress remembered her. The restaurant is in an older building and when I tell you the place is stunning from the artwork Andre sculpture wood paneling and the restaurant is huge. So many thing to see. The food is top tier freshly made pastas and deserts so good . Such a gem for Chattanooga.

All of the pastas were amazing- I got the tagliatelle with shrimp- so good. Another friend got the rigatoni with lamb, it was a bit spicy with the chili sauce but so good. The squash raviolis and crab was delicious- so had to choose. We started with calamari and the bruschetta with ricotta and honey- so good! Both appetizers were fantastic but the bruschetta was so unique. The portions are generous and this will be on the list when we visit again!

Came here for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was fantastic with awesome decor. I had the angel hair pasta and shrimp. And my wife had the spaghetti. We both had some drinks and dessert. No part of it was disappointing. The waitress was really friendly and helpful going through menu items.

We had an excellent dinner at Alleia last week. Our server KiKi was fantastic. She was personable, attentive and great with recommendations. We ordered the mussels, the white bean bruschetta and the carpaccio. The mussels had great flavor and my husband said the were tender and quite a healthy portion. The carpaccio was like butter, just melt in your mouth goodness with the bright arugula and sharp cheese. Really enjoyed both of those. The bruschetta was ok, had good flavor but the beans kept falling off. It was a generous portion and we took two pieces home. The ambience was lively without being hard to hear and the design is really beautiful. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Service is fast. Drinks are prepared well. The kombucha almost tastes like a vivid adult grape soda and the Queen Bee cocktail has a nice herby scent accompanying a slightly sweet drink. Both our entrees (pork shoulder and pappardelle) were great. Only downside is that the pasta was a bit clumped in a couple places, but the flavor profile was good.

The pasta tasted super fresh! They have a cream sauce that is similar to Alfredo we asked about. I didn't see it on the menu but perhaps it was there and I didn't see it. I got shrimp penne pasta with the cream sauce and my daughter got gnocchi with chicken sausage and mushrooms with the cream sauce. My husband got another type of pasta and my other daughter got pizza. The cheese flat bread appetizer was delicious. The rice balls were good too... and of course the gelato was amazing! Service was great. We were seated right away. The ambiance was nice, more of a date place, kind of dark for me. I personally like to see my food well but it was still nice. The food was definitely worth it.

Oh my goodness, what a gem! 5 star dining in downtown Chattanooga. We loved our server, Cricket, who was well-versed in the entire menu, made several great recommendations and was prompt with drinks, refills and table service. Our table was on the very comfortable patio. We started with two of recommended drinks, the Tennessee old fashioned and Negroni; a plate of the bacon-wrapped dates and the caprese salad (more on this in a bit). Each of us selected a main dish (the shrimp and tagliatelle pasta and roast pork shoulder and ended our gastronomic adventure with a smooth Chattanooga roasted coffee and dessert (cinnamon gelato and tiramisu). Honestly, we would have been fine sharing a main dish as the portions are generous. But, choosing between homemade pasta and perfectly prepared shrimp and wood fired pork created conflict so we went for it. Happiness and joy!! So, about the Caprese salad - summer is here and the fresh heirloom tomatoes, basil, mozzarella and aged balsamic were above and beyond our expectations. Our tastebuds tingled and memories of summers past, picking the perfect red fruits from grandma's garden, launched our dining experience perfectly. (No photos unfortunately- we ate it too quickly!) To summarize -Alleia is wonderful. If you're in Chattanooga for a visit or are a native looking for a great date night restaurant, make the reservation. And be sure to taste everyone's dish!!

Amazing food. We ordered almost everything on the menu and it was all delicious! Would definitely go back!

    Hand Dipped Ricotta Bruschetta

The place was so dark, can't even see menu clearly, I have to use my phone flashlight to check the menu. Our appetizer was served cold and overcooked. My entree was served burner too. Not worth to try. After dinner still hungry, can't even compare with the random diner we found.

Alleia is a top spot to go to celebrate a special evening in Chattanooga. The dark, moody, modern interior gives off romantic vibes, while the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu is pretty big - it was hard to choose what to get! My husband and I got a couple of cocktails, some appetizers (bacon-wrapped dates & arancini), the grilled romaine salad, and for the main course: gnocchi and penne. We also got a piece of cake and gelato. Everything was really good and it was an all-around great experience. I'll come back for more special occasions!

We went on a Monday night and it was pretty crowded but we were seated quickly. They give each table a big plate of bread with butter, which was delicious and a nice treat. I ordered the arancini to start with. I love arancini, and so many restaurants in Atlanta put meat in them. These were SO good, maybe my favorite arancini that I've had recently. Good ratio of risotto to cheese and nice and crispy. The sauce that came with them was really good too. I wish you got more for the cost, but it was comparable to every restaurant. I ordered the Pomodoro al Vegetariana but subbed penne for the spaghetti (just not a fan lol). The pasta was really good and perfectly cooked. The sauce was maybe a little too garlicky? There was a good ratio of pasta to veggies. I don't like mushrooms but they blended in enough that I could eat them. My gf got the Penne Toscana because she's allergic to garlic, so this was one of the few things she could eat. (Side note, one of the other local Italian restaurants we called basically said there was nothing she'd be able to eat there.) Some of the artichoke pieces were really chewy and the dish was very oily, otherwise she enjoyed it. The inside is very nice, cozy and not stuffy. Our waitress was super sweet.

I did not say anything due to the second reason. Server didn't seem to be too keen on giving us top notch service. We have taken note that when we are a table of four, they always give us the rundown of the nightly specials. In. Great. Detail. Every time it is just the Husband and I? Nada. Nothing. Not even an introduction by the server this time. It's not the same server either. Happens with whomever we have. Seems to be something that they need to work on at this restaurant. We love this place! Watchman (our server) did a great job when it came to serving the food. But I should not have to ask about the specials nor ask for his name. We always tip more than expected, but when will servers learn that going above and beyond will get them above and beyond the expected tip? Hopefully something changes before our next visit to Chattanooga.

Prosecco with a squirt of blackberry syrup at the bottom, but no straw to get to it. The fried raviolis were just cheese-filled and tasted of old oil. The salad contest consisted of whole leaves of iceberg lettuce, four slices of beets and six garbanzos. (This is for two people.) the salad dressing tasted of nothing but oil.
