DON'T COME HERE!!! I came in with no other customers there, was told he (Denny Allen) could QUICKLY change my two front tires as I am in a rush to get to a family event and had a nail in my tire. He "forgot" to tell me that he had to order the tires from a shop 30 minutes away! I have now been here for nearly 2 hours and I feel absolutely swindled. I told him if he had been straight up with the fact that he didn't have the proper tires on hand I would have NEVER agreed to wait. He played me, and wasn't up front at all. Also, he was creepy to me, came and sat next to me closely and made me look at photos of his dog which was so weird and I can GUARANTEE he wouldn't do that to a male customer. Surprised by the good reviews here. Caught the service manager putting in an optional road hazard fee on my bill. Check your bill when you shop here. He then lied that the tires were in the shop when they were not. And then noticed an elderly customer who had been waiting for his car for over two hours and they didn't tell him the wait would be this long. He had his alignment done here two weeks ago and the car was veering so he brought it back and he said he would never come to this shop again. Wasted so much time at this shop and hopefully my experience is not typical. Even still, double check your bill! read more

This tire company is located between garden grove and knot...close to the 22 freeway. I first heard of this place when I had a flat tire and had to get it replace. The manager and the workers are customer friendly and don't try to sell you or bs of things of you need. Flash forward when I had to get 4 new tires. I had to compare this place and costco. Between the two after asking a lot questions and comparing prices, this is the winner. Ask for josh because he is super friendly. Despite the wait time, I'm willing to wait. Next day the tire pressure went on...so had to fill it with air. I follow up with Josh on this and recommend to bring it the next morning. Turns out it was simple problem that can be fix and best part it was no cost. Allen tire also doesn't charge if you need air. Overall, I highly recommend this place. read more

This is the worst Allen Tire shop that I've been to. I've been a customer of the Santa Ana and Fullerton locations for over 15 years. The manager at this location, Danny, is an A-Hole. I came in on Monday 11/4/24 right at opening. I needed an oil change and brake light bulb replacement. He led me to believe that he had the bulbs available. He gave me the work order to sign and I noticed that there wasn't mention of the bulbs on the bill. When I told him that he implied that he had the bulbs available, his attitude soured and he annoyingly said "We're not doing it if you don't have them with you." I had already handed him the keys during the check-in process, so I asked for the keys back so I can run down to AutoZone to purchase the bulbs and come back. He said, "Nope. We're going to start the oil change in a minute." I ended up having to spend $15 for an Uber to take me the nearest AutoZone. When I got back, I handed Danny the bulbs and he said, "If we have time. We'll see." They had barely started lifting my car to start the oil change by the time I arrived with the bulbs! It's not like they finished and I came too late. I will never be back to this location again. The experience here was garbage. I'm hoping higher management will contact me about my experience. read more

I am so disappointed. My late husband I have bought tires at this location for years. I ordered tires on Saturday and returned on Monday (yesterday 3/10) for installation. During this time, I asked to have my wiper blades replaced and was given a fair price. During the tire installation, it was determined that I had a right rear leaking shock. I asked how long would it take and how much? I was told by the manager Denny "not much extra time at all and he gave me the price for a set of rear shocks." I consented to the replacement of the rear shocks. I was led to believe the shocks were on premises. After over an hour, I overheard Denny call via the telephone someone asking where "his shocks were?" After another 40 minutes, Denny walked over to me and said " Your car is almost completed and you most likely will be gone by the time I return from an errand. One of the gentlemen will be here to help you check out". Shortly within earshot of me, the serviceman who was working on my car came into the office and spoke with gentleman at the desk and explained he could not remove a bolt from the shock of my car. The two men proceeded to look up on the computer "How to remove the bolt for the shock on a Jeep" as I was sitting right there. Not realizing that I was listening to what was going on, the gentleman at the desk looked over and told me that "You will not be able to have your car tonight as there was an issue with the shock placement and I would need to get a ride home." I called my daughter to pick me up. As I was leaving, I said to the serviceman "I hope that you will be able to finish the shock replacement correctly with no damage to my car". His reply was yes. No apology for the inconvenience of 2 1/2 hours of waiting or the issue with my car. When I called this morning (Tuesday 3/11) at 10:00AM as I had not heard from Allen Tire regarding the status of my car, I spoke with Denny, and he stated that my car would be done soon. I conveyed my observations and lack of confidence regarding the events of yesterday. Denny's response was "I am sorry that you feel that way" and " I showed the serviceman how to fix the shock issue". Your car should be completed shortly" No true apology was given, and Denny spoke to me with a very condescending tone. My question is that if I have any issues with the shocks and/or the new tires in the future, do I have to return to this location or can I go to any Allen Tire franchise for assistance? I do not wish to return to this location...ever! read more

Allen Tire provides great prices on the Tires and other services for years unfortunately Alfredo is no longer at this location. I still go there for all my tire needs . Staff very friendly and quick at service do your not there all day . They tell me about wait times and how long job will take before starting . I would definitely recommend them for tires and alignments as well . read more

I've used Allen tire for several years and highly recommend their service. They are also good with alignments when they use the CORRECT alignment specifications for the car. If your foreign vehicle has many different models, have them confirm the spec sheet with you before putting your vehicle on the rack. Mechanics are not familiar with all model variations of foreign vehicles. Close only counts in horseshoes. I've had two instances where the alignment was performed using the wrong spec and results in a 2nd trip, some unnecessary discussion and extra hours of wasted time. The car performs well after the 2nd try, but it should have been done on the first. read more

Due to having a fleet account the service stations I previously visited did not want to take the extra step looking up the account for authorization. I thought it was a nail in the tire but it turned out to be the pin from a door hinge. It's amazing how something like that can get all the way inside the tire, absolutely incredible. Service here is excellent Samuel came out of the garage to meet me before I even get out of the car. And they fixed it in less than 15 minutes I was back on the road. Been coming to this place for years. Have always been given fair deals and treated with respect. These guys are honest, and won't try to get you to get something more expensive if you don't need it. For example, when I was there today, I was prepared to buy a brand new tire to have as my spare, but the said it would be better for me to patch up the spare I had instead. First, let me say I have had nothing but an amazing experience at my usual Allen Tire Co. in Long Beach. I went to my regular spot but they were booked until Monday and I have a slow leak in my tire. We looked for another location and called Westminster. The man (Alfredo, manager and employee for 31 years) said they weren't busy and to bring it in. My girlfriend and I went in and immediately felt like we weren't welcome.....we're an African American lesbian couple. As if that should matter. He was very vague about the wait time and said "go outside too" When the car was ready, he took my card for payment and then asked me, "who's that your daughter?" I said no and looked at my girlfriend. Next he asked, "is that your sister, aunt, friend?" We both stood without responding just waiting for the payment to process. When I got to this tire shop today by myself, boy was I afraid of the same things happening. I approached the gentleman at the desk that I needed assistance with a flat and possibly new tires all around. Me being clueless, I asked him if he can examine them all. They inspected my tires and said they are fine, just the flat was due to a nail being embedded which could be patched. That I still don't need new tires. This honest and genuine service is what made me feel respected, relaxed, and comfortable with reaching out to them! They were super friendly even offered to get them coffee.
