Dorothy offered to schedule a tech that afternoon and then started running through the most common causes. With her on the line I found a blown fuse on the units motherboard and was able to replace it (props to Home Depot for having them in stock). Bottom line, she was polite, responsive AND helped me solve the issue over the phone at no cost. I will definitely call Davey Heating and Air for all my HVAC needs in the future.

Within ~10 minutes, got a call from this company who asked some basic questions and troubleshooted some things over the phone, without even talking amount payment or price. When that didn't work after an hour, I messaged back and they got me on the schedule for the next day (it was already 5pm by this time. They came promptly during the window and gave me heads up, figured out the issue in less than 15 minutes, and gave me a range of options and prices. He actually taught me several things about the AC and showed me how to do some repairs myself and where to get parts, and lo and behold it worked like a charm! Couldn't be happier with the quality, speed, and friendliness of the service. Got my AC pumping ice cold air in time to get the house cool for my kids' naps. Davey will absolutely be my go-to from now on and I would recommend them to anyone and everything.

My wife and I called JUMP, and BJ drove out to our house at 9PM after working an install all day to give me a quote. He hadn't eaten dinner yet and drove an hour to come give me a quote. I was very impressed by BJs dedication. The got me a quote within 2 days, which my uncle who was a master HVAC tech in CO before moving out of state, advised me was appropriately priced. Install day Adam came out and he and his apprentice buuuusted their butts working in over 100 degree temperatures to get my new system installed. Unfortunately, while tearing my old system out there was a miss communication between Adam and his apprentice and a place to filter my system got missed. The next day I sent BJ an email, and over the next 2 months jump came out and tried to install some filter grills but apparently my returns are a unique size which required custom grilles to be made. BJ came out personally twice during this process and in general in general I could tell he felt bad about the issues that kept popping up. But I want to express, things happen, it was not JUMPs fault my returns were a wild size, and even though the filter slot on install day got missed, it was again the dedication from BJ to fix the problem that came up. I'm today's day and age everyone is so quick to trash people and company's over a mistake, which by the way unless you're Jesus, everyone has also made mistakes. I let BJ address the issue and his dedication and work ethic handled the problem. Although it was not a seamless process, I would rather work with a company who I know is going to make things right when issues arise than a company who won't stand behind their work. So long as BJ owns Jump I will be a customer to them. Thanks Bj, Emily, and Adam for all your hard work.

Received a flat quote of $89 for 25 checklist items that they would check and inspect. I guess I misunderstood the term maintenance service versus diagnostic quote. The tech spent less than 15 min at my house to come up with 3 possible (not definitive) solutions for cause of ac smells. Then emailed me one of them pretty much saying I needed to replace my whole vent system. No actual work was done on thìs visit . Even the ac cleaning would needed to be a separate appointment and charge. So just be cautious n aware of what service you're looking for.

While the technicians themselves were friendly, my overall experience with Summit was disappointing…read more-- particularly given that they had been highly recommended by a neighbor. After the fourth visit and two failed inspections, I asked to speak with the owner. He said he'd show up on the final day and didn't. Not showing up after committing to do so speaks volumes. On multiple occasions, employees attempted to -- or did -- walk through my home beyond where work was being completed with their shoes on. This is a basic courtesy that should not have needed to be addressed. On the final day, an employee complained about the time spent waiting for the inspector to arrive. After five+ weeks of doing exactly that myself, I couldn't help but laugh internally. Most importantly, Summit advertises a "100% Right or 100% Free" guarantee on their website. These are not complicated words -- 100% means 100%, and free means free. There is no secondary meaning to either. When I raised this, I was told it essentially means they will keep trying until the job is done correctly -- which is admirable in theory, but falls well short of what "100% Free" implies when a customer has invested THOUSANDS of dollars. After reading the other reviews, I'm hoping the problem with my AC wasn't just a leak somewhere that could have been fixed for much less. I would strongly encourage potential customers to clarify what that guarantee truly means before signing a contract, and to get everything in writing.

Previously, I've done this repair myself and it's a relatively quick and easy repair if you know how to watch YouTube. Unfortunately, we had a family issue which prevented me from handling it this time so we hired the first people who answered. One technician came and diagnosed the problem with a quote $851. I agreed. The next day, a different technician completed the job quickly and if you've ever done this job, it's plug and play and the most time consuming thing is unscrewing the panels. Total labor time across both visits was only about 40 minutes. Drive time, let's give them 2 hours. Unfortunately, the invoice showed just a single $851 charge with no breakdown. I assumed there was something a little more technical than an ignitor. When I questioned the bill, I was told the ignitor part alone was $200 or more. What does or more mean? Let's say a total of 2 hours of labor was involved and a $250 part. That's $300 per hour in labor! While I understand businesses have overhead and travel costs, this price felt surprisingly high for such a short repair and no transparency. Lesson learned
