It's a 75 minute drive but completely worth it because every doctor we've seen over the years is fantastic. They are diligent in every aspect of care. This review in in regards to a recent sick visit. Jax has overall been very healthy but I recently moved in with my boyfriend and both our dogs came down with diarrhea. My cat had been puking repeatedly and they do blood work, urinalysis and a fecal test. It took them 2 weeks +3 phone calls from me to get the results. She had a uti and they prescribed her antibiotics, which then took them another week and 4 more phone calls from me just to have them fill it right after I called the 4th time. 2 out of the 4 times I called I was told that I would get a call the next day from the vet tech when the medicine was ready but I never once received a call from them. This was extremely frustrating and I will never be returning to this vet as they so clearly did not care about the health of my cat. This vet is borderline negligent when it comes to making sure people get results and medication in a timely manner, I wouldn't recommend ever going to them for anything serious.

People need to know the toxic environment and lack of good testing, regardless of the bully tactics of this vet. We only used this vet for a year for feral kittens we'd get in as it's closer than our regular vet, we rehab and re-home mostly adults the last 20 years and use our regular vet for those. Basically only once before, just for deworming, with a litter that had no actual medical issues. The kitten we have now is a 5 week old deaf kitten, that had clear signs of mange. The doctor and staff were argumentative about testing him for mange (which is highly contagious and could effect our other fosters). They even questioned whether or not he's deaf, but never tested it, just disagreed with us stating it was deaf. It was a lot of gaslighting, claiming I was the problem (again, been doing this for 20 years, no issue with any other vet or their care in that time). Long story short, they made us come back twice for these tests, claimed both were NEGATIVE. I had to call back for the results mind you, as they were a week late with them, where they claimed, more people gaslighting, that I hung up on them the week before (there was no call, no hang up, they just lie to cover their own poor practices). In the meantime, while waiting for the results, I took the poor thing in for a 3rd appt at my regular vet. He tested POSITIVE for both ringworm and mange. And has started treatment. My regular vet also tested his hearing upon my explaining he was deaf and found he is indeed so. No gaslighting, no brushing off pertinent client info, no toxic ego. I do not think people who go to Upper Saucon are aware that their pets are under the care of someone who can't even diagnose simple things like ringworm and mange, even with a knowledgeable client helping with the diagnosis. He wouldn't have tested at all if it wasn't brought up, even with it being very visible on the kitten. We had to show him the lesions, which he poo poo'd. It's either he is completely incompetent as a vet, or he is so unprofessional and unethical that he claimed the kitten didn't have it as a punitive measure. Either way, not good. The 35 minute drive to our regular vet is well worth it that our ferals we are fostering aren't endangered like this ever again. I don't want myself or my family to be treated that way again either, just because a vet has a misplaced ego issue. Himself and the staff should have just run the tests, all the game playing, lying and toxic stuff was absolutely unnecessary on their end. They can feel free to rewrite the narrative, gaslight, falsely claim I'm the problem, as they do with others who write honest reviews. The facts remain, they claimed to have tested for ringworm and mange, claimed both were negative, but in fact the kitten has both. Their smearing of clients who question their unethical and incompetent behavior isn't changing the fact that they were incompetent, unethical and unprofessional. And endangered a 5 week old kitten and other fosters. Edit: As you can see, he responded (in an hour, because gaslighting clients he endangered is important). 1. He did not address that he gave false negatives to TWO tests, which are pretty easy to read. 2. He made false claims against me. I called back ONCE, right after the 1st appt, wanting the 2nd test done, as I had asked when making the appt. AND my son asked for AT the 1st appt. I simply asked that they not charge a 2nd emergency fee in 3 days. Asking for a service to be done & not be hit with excess charges for services not rendered is rational, not threatening. It's NOT rational for a Dr. to call back hostile & yelling because I left a message asking for the test. He escalated throughout the call, even yelling at me 'you're one of those girls who's never satisfied, you need to go elsewhere'. Direct quote to me asking that a kitten be checked for mange (that I repeat, it turned out to have). What someone is supposed to say to a vet saying that? His issues have nothing to do with myself or this poor kitten. We already made an appointment with our regular vet after the 2nd test/appt when he again claimed it was negative. Thank God we did. It CAN get treatment for both issues, contrary to his false medical claim. Again, a reason people should not go to this vet. 4. The doctor never discussed ANY safety precautions. Remember: he said the kitten did not have either. The doctor needed to be shown the lesions (tail, ear, stomach) at BOTH appts. I don't know why he's acting like he discovered them. 5. We never complained about $. We asked that we not get charged a emer. appt. fee twice in 3 days due to their error. If we were cheap we wouldn't be asking for tests to be done at all. He literally charged us for tests he did not do correctly though. He's a scam.

Long story short...our first (and last) appointment with them…read more Took our girl for a wellness checkup, but got bum rushed out of there, the "exam" lasted less than 2 minutes, and was severely incomplete. However, it did last long enough for the vet to recommend meds and services that add up to over $1000.00. Bad attitude, I would call it hostile, and apparently solely based on us lacking our dog's records, which our previous vet said they would furnish to this vet. The vet must have repeated that she "needs the records" a half dozen times. Really??? Every other time we switched vets over the years, and we've had many dogs, they never made such a big deal about it, and proceeded to conduct the exam without them. Not this vet, it was as if she either refused to give a comprehensive exam because there were no records, or that she was incapable of conducting an exam without them, even though we told her we'd provide as much info as we could recall, including any meds or procedures. But she blew us off. This vet gets good reviews, but she also gets a significant number of bad one's, mine included. Hard pass.
