I made it abundantly clear when scheduling that I would need to be given Oxytocin in the event of complications which I was told 'of course, no problem!'. I took her on February 9th, received her radiographs and was then made to wait about 25 minutes where they could 'see about the prescription'. Once I was given it, I went through Chewy to order it (on February 9th) and staff neglected to approve the request for two entire days full well knowing Bay was due on Friday, February 13th and I stressed it's importance. I made phone calls, sent texts and was told a doctor would get back to me. I then was told it was my responsibility to upload the script to Chewy (which I couldn't find anyway) - which I then contacted Chewy and was told that was incorrect and they had been waiting for my vet approval this entire time, Chewy even called them and received no response. Regardless if I had the script or not, it was not my responsibility and the office did not prioritize my pregnant dog nor her puppies. I eventually was contacted on February 11th around 4pm by the practice manager who told me her staff did not feel comfortable prescribing the medication anymore after I spent $400 on the vet visit and now wasted two days. Fast forward February 12th - Bay goes into labor and as I expected, needs assistance from the drug; but I do not have it because Doylestown Vet had my hands tied and denied my dog the care she needed for a successful labor. I make an emergency trip to the ER (an additional $900 expense) she delivers 3 deceased puppies and 3 living puppies. We head home and now her labor is stalled again and the ER asked me to use the Oxytocin my vet should have responsibility prescribed me as standard repro practice. But here I am, unprepared because Doylestown chose ignorance over the reality of whelping puppies. I understand vet school and ethics, but if you care for some field experience, there's a big reality check here at my house because of your lack of concern for myself, my dog and her puppies. Shame on you for putting me in this position, stalling to tell me you had a change of mind about my dog's care, and then running down the clock so I had limited options on how to proceed finding her the care she needed. Edited to add, we are now a week out from Bay's delivery and I have had zero follow up from this practice. Ethics? I don't think so.

Dr. Singh was remote and arrogant at a time when we needed clarity and kindness. First, he spent an unbelievably long time arguing that the coming Tuesday, on which my dog had an appointment with our regular vet, was "next Tuesday" rather than "this Tuesday," while we sat in rising panic, waiting for him to come to the point. Then, he graciously deigned to inform us that our baby had a tumor on his spleen, which had burst, filling his stomach with blood, and only a specialist in Allentown could perform the surgery that might or might not save him. Dr. Singh kept saying we could pursue this option "if you have a lot of cash lying around." We tried in vain to tell him that the money wasn't the issue--we would go into debt to save our baby--but we did care if we would be forcing him to endure more suffering for no good reason. What would success mean? How much time might we be able to buy him, and how much torture would it cost? If this were his dog, what would he do? I looked into his eyes and tried to get a compassionate human response. But he only smirked and shook his head and said, "Well, I'm a vet. I know things." What things--and how might they help us make this gut-wrenching decision--he did not care to share with us. Finally, and no thanks to him, we decided to put our baby out of his misery, and we were grateful when the vet did not perform the procedure himself. The vet techs and nurses behaved with perfect professionalism and sensitivity. Had the vet on duty been on par with the rest of the staff, I would be warmly recommending this establishment. As it is, I cannot.

Today they inexplicably completely shaved (!!) my golden retriever and then I was basically told to pound sand by the office staff. The office told me that it was my fault for not showing a picture of the cut I wanted (what professional groomer hasn't seen a golden?) and also falsely accused my dog of being overly matted (absolutely false). The office said anything they could to avoid being accountable. My dog looks absolutely ridiculous and now has zero hair as our weather drops into the 30s. Save yourself the headache. Go *anywhere* else.

March…read more29th, 2025 my baby Houdini passed away due to a heart attack or possibly a stroke after trying to recover from a bad virus . He was a runt of a litter and was 10days from turning 1yrs old with his siblings and mama . Just when we thought he was getting better from his virus and we were finally over the mountain he started eating and drinking. He passed away at home suddenly. He went to nap and never woke back up. I never dealt with a dog passing away before. Especially one of my own. I couldn't think straight. The veterinarian Hospital placed us in touch with Pet Meadow. They treated us with so much respect, ,compassion , kindness & empathy. They helped with every step and decision. I even had my husband with me in case I was to emotionally upset to make proper decisions. I was very pleased with them. They went above and beyond. Sadly my oldest dog has passed away this morning June 8th, 2025 . Clyde is 15 years old and fought cancer and other health issues. He led a fulfilled life . We rescued him when he was 2 with his mama . He was my first dog ever . A pure Bread Beagle. He gave us so much joy and happiness. I have not stopped crying since he passed away at home this morning . We immediately called Pet Meadow and we are receiving the same awesome treatment as a few months ago . Tomorrow he gets cremated. We all have our own experiences and I'm not trying to put anyone's opinions down during such devastating loss in their life . I'm sad to hear how disappointed you were and wished to see all reviews top 5 stars . My hearts are with you all . No matter good or bad reviews. Grief and loss of a fur-baby is horrible. They were cherished family members for over 12 years . The time had come that their bodies were failing and their quality of life was diminishing . He explained everything , answered questions , was sympathetic to all our needs , and really cared for us and our babies.
