At that time, I had absolutely NO brake issues whatsoever. My brakes were working fine before bringing my car to this shop. After a test drive, I was told to first get an oil change elsewhere because they had no openings that day, and then return for diagnostics regarding the sensor lights. We followed their instructions exactly and returned the car. I paid $517.06 for repairs that included fixing broken wiring to the right front wheel and replacing the front wheel ABS speed sensor. I was also told the ABS module was bad and expensive to replace, but Liz clearly told me that replacing the module was NOT necessary and that the car would still be safe to drive as long as the dashboard lights did not bother me. I even asked again, in front of a witness, if the car would be safe after the repairs, and I was reassured that it would be. Only TWO WEEKS later, my brakes completely failed while driving. The car would barely stop. We immediately brought it back to the shop. They kept the car for days and then charged us another $1,871.48 for brake repairs, including calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, and the master cylinder. After continuing to have issues, they kept the car again for over two additional weeks and charged us another $187.62. In total, we paid $2,576.16 When we When we contacted the shop, instead of taking responsibility, they attempted to blame us and claimed they had warned us about the ABS module causing brake failure -- which is absolutely NOT what we were told originally. They even added wording to the receipt claiming we ACKNOWLEDGED that the brake system could fail without replacing the module. What they did not know is that I recorded the conversation where we were specifically told the car would still be safe to drive without replacing the module. I specifically explained that icdidnt want to put mlney if it was too expensive but ehat they y did not know is that I recorded the conversation where we were specifically told the car would still be safe to drive without replacing the module. Throughout this entire process, we were repeatedly told "they are working on it," while being left without answers, without reliable transportation, and paying thousands of dollars for repairs that still did not fix the problem. This experience has been stressful, expensive, and honestly terrifying. Brake failure is not a minor issue -- it puts lives at risk. I strongly encourage others to ask questions, document everything, and get second opinions before trusting major safety repairs here.

That in itself is beyond worth it in terms of the experience. The transparency is what I value most. I had requested a tire rotation. I feel like most places, especially when they are busy, would just rotate the tires and call it a day. In this case, I was told they would not rotate my tires because my 2 back tires were super worn and wearing unevenly which would not be a benefit to my car if I rotated them. They made their recommendations and were not pushy at all about what I did or did not do for that matter. They told me they honor their estimates for 30 days (if memory serves me right) and that I could call ahead any time if I wanted to do any of the repairs that were not done then. I love the attention to detail too. I had come in right around Halloween so they left me some candy in the car when they were done! You know I will be back!

For the past 2 years the service here has changed. They don't answer their phones and they caused…read moreme over $8000 in unrepairable damages. I have taken them to court where the owner Mark told terrible lies from stating that my receipts are fake, stating they never diagnosed my car, and saying in court his wife Heather who is also the receptionist there no longer works there. Which is very convenient being that she is the one I had been communicating with the whole time but he is the one who showed up to court. I took my car in for a mass airflow sensor and immediately after picking my vehicle up my check engine light came back on and my AC was no longer blowing cool air. When I took it back, Heather told me they put refrigerant in and that did not resolve the issue, they put a green fluid to check for cracks and leaks and that was not it, so they narrowed it down to it being the condenser. My car was there for 2 weeks with no resolve and barely any communication unless I physically showed up there. Heather submitted to my warranty company 3 claims for the condenser yet Mark says they never diagnosed my car. Eventually, I was told there was nothing else they could do for me and to take it to the dealer. The dealer states my entire AC system is contaminated and would need to be replaced. They cannot guarantee a replacement will fix the issue. This has cost me thousands of dollars in addition to time taking them to court. They prefer to have the reputation of another crooked mechanic and had no interest in trying to resolve the issue with me. If you are ok with leaving your car somewhere for weeks with minimal communication, a liar for a mechanic, and possibly more issues with your car go to Larry's. If not, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Thank goodness I had them look it over, because the vehicle wasn't even able to pass inspection. Making matters worse, the front lower ball joints were damaged, making it unsafe to drive. It was a very disappointing and sobering experience, nearly being ripped off by a sleazy used car dealer. I've included a copy of the inspection report as well. I think it's safe to say it was the best $38 I've spent in a long time.
