Came here last night with another family. Got a bowling package for the 6 of us - 2 hours of bowling, shoe rentals, cheese pizza and pitcher of soda for $69. We are a very inexperienced group of bowlers and they kindly put us on the farthest lane. The food server promptly took our food order and checked up on us a few times. The other family (from out of town) really liked the food and especially the pricing (considering we were thinking about Foxwoods's High Roller bowling lounge. A similar package was $300) We ordered (3 at $4 each) hot Suppi stuffies, and order of (4) breadsticks with beer cheese (amazing), a Mac and cheese (topped with crispy bacon and toasted breadcrumbs) with (4) wings combo, and a pepperoni pizza (in addition to the cheese pizza in our package). For the 6 of us (2 of them being children) we still took home some left overs. Like I said - we're inexperienced bowlers and it took us 2 hours to play 2 games of bowling on 1 lane for the 6 of us. Our 2 hours fell right on our 10th frame of the second game and they were nice enough to add 10 minutes to our game. Make sure to tip the staff and servers. They were super helpful and friendly. This place is really cool. It was one of the best bowling alleys I've ever been to the staff was really nice and really the food was really good too. The vibe was very nice. I will come to this place again and again to go bowling. read more

We went to bowl a few strings. Very pleasant experience. The staff was courteous. The cost was reasonable. It was a nice afternoon.

Going a little bit far from the norm, we decided to have a bowling party as the rehearsal dinner for our wedding, and aside from marrying my wife, it was probably the best part of the entire wedding! The group tending to our party was on the ball all night. The drinks were never empty, the food was fantastic and sent out nice and hot, and for what we paid it was so much food. I knew the numbers of what we ordered, but I really didn't expect the size of everything to be so large. I was still having quesadillas for lunch over the next few days! I'm really happy we decided to have a rehearsal dinner here. Everyone really went above and beyond, from the waitress running back and forth making sure everything was good, to giving us a bit more time to finish up a lane or two. I received so many messages about how much fun people had / how great the food was / how it was the best rehearsal dinner ever (I mean, I'll take a little credit there). I'd recommend Alley Katz over and over again, it really was a fantastic evening. read more

I like Alley Katz a lot. It's a typical bowling alley. They have some good bowling specials during the week. I like to go Monday-Thursday, after 9. From 9 to 12 it only costs like 10 bucks for unlimited bowling. After league bowling ends they turn the lights down and play music, "cosmic bowling" style. They have a small game room with some video games, including Golden Tee and Big Buck Hunter. You can get food and drinks from the bar Cleats, which is attached to the bowling alley. Interesting note, this bowling alley is seen in the Steve Carrell movie Dan In Real Life. read more

We threw a 70 person party here after our wedding on October 27th. Dave Foss was SO incredibly helpful. He gave us a tour of the bowling alley and helped us figure out where to set up our DJ. He stored his gear and helped us set up. He was so kind and funny and accommodating to all of our needs. We arrived with our 70 guests and everything was ready to go. The bowling alley had a big costume party for Halloween and we all just partied the night away. Dave made sure we didn't want for anything. He even set up a special bar for us with custom drink specials for our friends. We bowled for two hours and drank and danced and had a blast. It was a perfect experience. Only way for me to describe this place...welcome to the 80's! If you like that, fantastic. It does need a bit of updating and the food situation is a bit strange. I've been to quite a few other bowling alley's within a half hours drive that feel current, have great promotions and draw huge crowds all the time that are open and fun. I say Gordon Ramsey needs to come in and turn this place around! read more

Only came here for bowling so can't really comment on the food. We came here on a Saturday and it was pretty empty and we ended up deciding on paying $13 each for unlimited bowling including shoe rental. Played four games and all in all it was pretty fun. read more

Attended a school event last weekend here. Have to say our experience was not the best due to an overbearing server/ bartender with serious control issues. Not only was she yelling at children who were simply trying to get their slice of pizza, but she also cleared our entire table of food and drinks before we had a chance to finish. She asked no questions- just took everything as we were speaking to the family next to us. Sadly she ruined our experience. As for the bowling experience itself, the alley is pretty dated and could certainly use a new sound system. With some updates it would be a great place for family entertainment. read more

fun place to bring the kids. They accommodate kids with the bumper guards and the guide rails so the kids don't have to throw the balls. (don't know the actual name of the device). interesting décor and great music. We will be going back. read more
