Omg never a disappointment here. The food is off the chart great. You would never expect their food to be this great. Yes is pizza; flat bread and wings kind of food. But I swear to you is the bomb. Their pizza has so many pepperonis that you can make a second pizza with it lol. The prices are so low it's incredible. The place is very clean and staff is the best. Perfect for families; friends; or work events.

Friendly & polite staff, had a flat tire and needed to use the restroom no questions asked when I went in to only use the restroom.

They moved things around and the pool tables are now in a great spot. Staff was friendly and accommodating, place was clean, soap in the bathrooms! Food? Very good!!! My only negative was karaoke being played VERY loudly on the same night they have billiards matches going on. Was hard to concentrate, can't hear yourself think. But other than that, pleasantly surprised. No longer afraid to return!

When my friend left we noticed she charged him for all 4 shots. I was going to say something then but he said its ok he will pay for it. Left me his receipt just in case she charged me for them too. Which as we both felt was going to happen. Sure as the sky is blue she charged me for 3 drinks instead of 1. I showed her and she immediately got defensive call some lady that was worse cursed me out on the phone. I finally said whatever I will dispute the charge as I did not sign the slip. So if it is signed she then forged my signature. I ordered my uber and went to the bathroom. Then one of her friends came in and tried to talk to me. I told her friend that I am not in the business of having a convo with some random lady while sitting on the toilet. That pissed her off and then pissed the bartender of so much she called the police. I was leaving anyway. I waited for my Uber and left. Below is a picture of the bartender. Gatehouse Tavern [GT]. (2 stars)…read more "Stuffed clams (or stuffies) are popular in New England and consist of a breadcrumb and minced clam mixture that is baked on the half shell of a quahog hard shell clam.[1][2][3][4] Other ingredients typically found in the basic breadcrumb mixture are: meat such as sausage, bacon or chouriço (Portuguese sausage), chili pepper, lemon juice, bell peppers, celery, onion, garlic, spices and herbs. There are many different recipes for stuffed clams; many restaurants in New England have their own variety, as do many home cooks." - Wikipedia "Stuffies - $2.50" The sign caught my eye. I asked myself, "Self, what the heck are stuffies?!" I walked up to the cashier and asked her. She said it's a stuffed clam. Ahhh... In all the years I have been up to New England I never heard of "stuffies" before. Perhaps it could be in part to the fact that I usually frequent seafood restaurants vice watering holes when I am here... As I perused the menu I also saw a pastrami sandwich so I decided to eat here. I ordered the following: -Stuffies -Pastrami Sandwich Stuffies. (1.5 stars). Somehow I imagined this stuffed clam to have some texture & seasoning but not an overkill of salt & onions??!! The stuffing was extremely mushy & unpleasant to eat. I took one bite & didn't finish the rest of it. There were a few minuscule pieces of clam meat chopped up in the stuffing mixture but it was tough to even discern any real clam flavor. I'm sure the locals probably go crazy over GT's stuffies but I just am not a fan... Pastrami (Reuben) Sandwich. (2.5 stars). GT's pastrami sandwich is different from most places I have eaten at because they cook their pastrami slices on a flat top grill. The pastrami had a nice seasoning but some of the sides were a little too burnt for my liking. Instead of the usual 1000 island (yuck) I requested spicy brown mustard & while it was a bit messy to eat, definitely hit the spot on a cold day. The sauerkraut was nice & crunchy which I appreciated. The "rye" bread was quite soft & fell apart before I could take a bite into the sandwich. The rye bread tasted like sourdough bread... --- All in all, GT is a quaint little water hole that is located right across the street from EB (Electric Boat). In its heyday, GT & Elfie's used to be THE places to go for EB employees during lunch. Most of the other establishments in this area (including Elfie's) is now closed due to the fact that EB now has a "cafeteria" on their premise. The owner/bartender is extremely friendly & social which made me feel at ease. Parking is wherever u find it. Street parking is about 1 block away in the residential area. But the good thing is, if u find a stall, it's free!

This was a spot with a large bar that served new American cuisine for the most part. The menu was…read morerather large with very exciting choices. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. I had four dishes that I will describe below. Carolina Hush Puppies ($8) - These came with jalapeno-honey butter, which was what drew me initially, but they did not need them at all. There was five extremely large hush puppies, and they were some of the best, if not the best, I ever had. They were perfectly fried with tons of flavor. The butter was tasty, but as mentioned, not needed at all. Deviled Farm Eggs ($8) - There were four present and they were topped with a homemade chili crunch. These were solid. I thought the chili crunch would be spicier, but there was a nice slight crisp factor with the crunch present. Old Bay Macaroni Salad ($6) - This was a traditional macaroni salad with a hint of old bay. The macaroni was cooked ideally, and the touch of old bay was a different seasoning to use. Chopped Salad ($19) - This had romaine lettuce, roasted carrots, avocado, pickled red onion, cornbread croutons, bell peppers, feta cheese, and pulled rotisserie chicken, with a green goddess dressing. This was very big with a ton of all of the ingredients. They appeared all fresh and paired nicely with one another. I thought the dressing was a little light and actually could have used more flavor. The cornbread croutons were unique and stood out. Will I go back? Yup.
