This place has bartenders that over charge. My friend and I bought each other drinks him a round me a round. Total of 4 shots. After he left I had one more. When my friend left we noticed she charged him for all 4 shots. I was going to say something then but he said its ok he will pay for it. Left me his receipt just in case she charged me for them too. Which as we both felt was going to happen. Sure as the sky is blue she charged me for 3 drinks instead of 1. I showed her and she immediately got defensive call some lady that was worse cursed me out on the phone. I finally said whatever I will dispute the charge as I did not sign the slip. So if it is signed she then forged my signature. I ordered my uber and went to the bathroom. Then one of her friends came in and tried to talk to me. I told her friend that I am not in the business of having a convo with some random lady while sitting on the toilet. For this review I want to focus on their TACO TUESDAY. I have to say I'm never disappointed. We don't come here often enough but when we do we are always happy we did. We sat at the bar and specifically came by for their tacos. How can you go wrong when they have them at 2 for $5!!! And yes all delicious; packed to the rim and all the fixings plus sour cream on the side. We got plenty. We got happy Amanda B, The bartender was there. She is always so nice and pleasant. She knows her stuff and no matter how packed the place was, always comes by to check on you. The place was packed to my surprise. Okay I had to update my review. I play pool so I was forced to go back to Game Time. They have new management, all new staff from what I could tell. They moved things around and the pool tables are now in a great spot. Staff was friendly and accommodating, place was clean, soap in the bathrooms! Food? Very good!!! My only negative was karaoke being played VERY loudly on the same night they have billiards matches going on. Was hard to concentrate, can't hear yourself think. Superbowl Sunday. 5:30pm - Sit at a table 6:00pm - Order (2 beers because I can tell the one server is taking forever). Can't order off the Superbowl menu until kickoff at 6:30. Ask for a second time for the screens to get turned to the Superbowl. 6:30pm - One of the two screens facing us is still not on the Superbowl at kickoff. Finally get our fist order. Server says they will come back for food orders after she drops off more drinks. 7:00pm - Finally get to order food. Also order two more beers. 7:45pm - Still haven't gotten food. Just got second round of beers. Second screen is still on local news with 9 minutes left in the first half. Ridiculous. read more

So back for the prime rib sandwich. A work friend said, "Dude, it is the greatest sandwich I have ever eaten ..." Ok so it's got some hype so I need to temper my expectations. I'm here on Thursday night football to try it. It comes with a Demi glacé dipping sauce which is a thickened au jus. First get some extra napkins because this juicy, tender sandwich is all that especially when you dip it it French dip style in the Demi. The prime rib is thinly sliced so it is easy to eat. So is it the best Prime Rib Sandwich? Well to be honest it's the only one I had so it's hard to compare but so have had a lot of French Dip Sandwiches and this tops them all! This is a new sports bar to the Groton area. My husband and I and our friend group is big into football season, so we decided to check it out to hold a fantasy draft on a Thursday night at 6:30PM. The space is nice, lots of TVs and places to sit, however I cannot say the same about the service. It wasn't that busy.... There were 2 servers (one of which it was her first night and was suppose to be training with the other server) and 1 bartender. It took us 40 minutes to even get A DRINK! When the entire table ordered bottled beer... which they were "out of" Budweiser. It took another 30 minutes for us to have them take our food order. The food was ok, typical bar food. Nothing stand out. Any time we received any sort of service, I had to initiate it by walking over and finding a waitress. We were a group of 7 who were there for a little over 2 hours to complete our draft. Lots of potential to sell, especially drinks. It doesn't take much to keep a group of guys happy, just keep the beers coming. I really wanted to like this place, especially for football Sundays. read more

This brand new bar is awesome! It looks closed from the outside because of the tinted windows, but don't let it fool you! The bartenders, Emily and Kate, are absolutely amazing. They're both so sweet and the drinks are great! There are tons of TVs with every game on imaginable! read more

Had dinner here while visiting my son based at the submarine base. Food was excellent, especially the tomato soup with grilled cheese. Nachos are huge, trust your server when she tells you that! Friendly staff and a nice place to watch sports. Would definitely visit again! read more
