I was a repeat customer having been there in the last few weeks to replace a watch battery and have a piece of trim reaffixed to the inside of the watch. Please be cautious about taking your jewelry here. We brought in a ring that has a beautiful diamond that is almost a full carat, set in a thick wide gold band. We asked them the value of the ring and they quoted us $333! Couldn't believe they low-balled us so much. And, they said that their offer was only good until 6pm that day. Took it to another jeweler who valued it at $3400. Big difference. Of course, that was retail value, but the diamond alone clearly could be sold for more than $333. Should have known something was not right when they kept discreetly looking at each other and giving a slight nod. Take your business elsewhere. read more

I had taken my timepiece to other places, and they could not fix it. I was told that the link was put in place by a screw not a pin at Alliance Jewelers. I gave it to them and they had it ready the same day. Fantastic staff, friendly as can be and very professional. This is the only place I will take my timepieces and my wife's jewelry. Bought my 14k gold chain in because the close clasp broke. Paid $45. For a new one. They kept my old one and gave me a smaller one so my cross keeps getting caught on it. He then claimed to fill in the extend clasp with gold(but it is black) so the cross won't get caught. All I wanted was a new clasp the same size as my old one. Great local business that can pretty much take care of most jewelry related needs- cleaning, repair, battery replacement- all at a reasonable price. There are two specialists that have unique talents to care for your time pieces and jewelry. The nice woman who manages the shop was super friendly and not at all pushy with the services offered. There's a decent selection of Citizen watches and also custom jewelry to browse. I saw quite a few relics that were either "on display", or perhaps being refinished/repaired by the shop. They clean/flash jewelry as well- I was quoted the total clean package for a wedding ring starts around $50 (which is competitive) and they can usually have it ready same day. All cleaning and repairs take place on-site- they do not ship to another vendor to handle the "dirty work". Sized my daughters ring and turned the band into no more than a wire. I had brought in a gold bracelet I found for them to quote a price to purchase. Seems they melted it down before giving me a price and informed me that they used its value as payment for the ring being sized without prior discussion. It was valued far more than I would have paid for the sizing, terrible job or not. I said that was kind of a strange way to do it. The guy screamed at me, called me a bitch. This jeweler is a true gem! I went in to consult about resetting/remaking my ring. Jeff took time to talk through all sorts of options and gave his advice on what would make it more comfortable, durable, etc. I ultimately decided to sell the ring and will be taking my buyer there today to meet Jeff and begin his relationship with this awesome establishment.
