I recently took a Garnet bracelet to them along with some earrings that were not latching correctly. They added a safety chain to my bracelet and fixed the latch along with working on the settings so the stones would be secure. They did an excellent job as well as cleaning the bracelet and earrings. I needed my wife's ring repaired and was in the area. I called ahead and the guy I spoke to was vague. He said he needed to see it before he could tell me anything. I got creepy vibes as soon as I walked in the door. The guy behind the counter was dressed like a thug. He was packing heat right in plain sight. I guess he didn't get the memo that we don't have open carry in Texas. Needless to say I was uncomfortable. When he looked at the ring he told me that I either needed to add gold to the setting or change the setting completely and quoted me 150 bucks. After reading some of the reviews on here I realize some people fell for it. One person was so disappointed because the look of their ring was destroyed. I took the ring to a fine establishment nearby that's run by honest people. They fixed her ring while I waited for a price that was more than reasonable. Bottom line: don't shop at Kyle's Jewelry unless you just want to let some creep rip you off. I realize a fool and his money are easily parted and I don't appreciate being taken for a fool. read more

They apparently have incorporated some new technology that allows duplication of patterns (heart, in this case) and this tech enables them to efficiently create customized jewelry (and, at a good price) - would definitely recommend giving Kyle's a chance to earn your business. Bait & Switch. I had them mount a very nice red spinel in a ring to give my wife for valentines day. Kyle and his son showed me many pictures in a catalog. I decided on one that Kyles son recommended. The picture showed 2 rows of diamonds on the shank. When I went and picked it up, there was only one row. They said the second row was a wedding band and could be added for another $1200. I had already paid $2500. They did not tell me thier were 2 rings in the picture, it appeared as it was one and I thought I would be getting a mounting with 2 rows of Diamonds in the shank, sadly there is only one and my wife doesn't like it. Later I went to have them repair my gold cross pendant. Kyle gave me a price to fix it which I agreed to. About 20 minutes later I get a call from his son saying it was going to cost more although nothing changed. I told him forget it and went back and picked it up. I took a few watches in to get the batteries replaced and the guy saw that my crystal was scratched and said he could replace it for me, so I said sure and left my watch there. Three weeks go by with no phone call, so I reached out and asked if it was ready and he said it was and that he had called me (I never got a call/message). I went up there and he asks me what I dropped off when I hand my receipt to him because it doesn't say/he didn't know, and he hands me back my watch and says "it's perfect" to me. With the same exact crystal. I said "I don't understand what you did, it's not fixed it's still scratched up" and he said "it's an old watch it was already scratched up, that's not our fault". They took my watch, held it for weeks and did absolutely no work to it? I said "that is the reason you had it" and he tried to offer me a discount to leave it again since it was their "mistake". He tried to blame a younger man there, who I had never spoken to, for the "mistake". What was he charging me for? What did they do to my watch? The clasp clicks way harder now than it used to, but he wouldn't tell me what they did to it for 4 weeks. I was so uncomfortable with him trying to get mad at the other guy for no reason I just wanted to get out of there, so I'll never know because I'll never be back. EDIT: that response had NOTHING to do with what happened. When I called you said it was done for over a week and that you had tried to call me and I didn't answer. What was done? What does this have to do with shipping? It was handed back to me and said the work was completed and it was "perfect", and that crystal was scratched cause the watch was old. What did you do to my watch to "fix" it for three weeks, when it was left there for a crystal replacement? read more

I honestly have no idea how they are still in business. I came here 3 years ago trying to sell a watch I had already had appraised at $800 and they offered $20. Today, I came in by accident (was trying to go to another shop nearby) but decided to have them value my scrap metal anyways. Nothing too crazy, just needed some extra spending money. They valued it at $46 and I walked out the door because I had done research on the value of sterling at that time. Went down the street and got twice that. I went into Kyle' jewelry to purchase a gold chain for my grandpas birthday after looking around I purchased an alright chain with my debit card (I usually use cash for certain Things like this but I was in a rush this day and forgot to bring cash) I got charged $800 2 times once the day of the transaction then once again the next day I called Kyle to see why this happened and he told me there is nothing they can do about it and they have no other transactions on there end and the only way to get my money back would be to return the chain I purchased but that wouldn't guarantee the other $800 back ??? I was recommended to Kyle's Jewelry Repair by my Nextdoor app. I needed my wedding rings and a gold wedding band resized as I have put on the Covid-19 30#s. Kyle was extremely knowledgeable and honest as to what it would cost to repair my rings. He showed me that I was about to lose my diamond as my prongs were worn down to a dangerous level. He explained what he would do and he quoted me a fair price so I told him to go ahead. He does all his work in-house so my rings were ready the next day by noon. I called to make sure he does watch repair and for pricing. I came in after work to have it fix. He finished within 5 mins. Changing the battery out was only $11. Nordstrom was going to charge me $20+ and wait up to eight weeks. This is definitely one of the businesses I want to survive.
