Purchased a custom made wedding ring and continue to experience the painful realities of their poor workmanship issues (diamonds falling out and subsequently lost, intricately designed lace falling off sections of the bezel, etc). Love this place. Bought My fiancé an engagement ring, she lost her breath when I showed it to her. Waguih made a recommended a creation off of a few pictures I showed him on her Pinterest and it was spot on. She loves it and get tons of compliments. Just the other day we went to a wedding around the corner, and stopped by to say "HI"(didn't have much time). The people there cleaned it and inspected it while we waited(what? Customer service does exist?). I purchased this ring over a year ago. They have always been great, and I was so impressed with their service when I wasn't buying anything that day that they were still so great, and didn't run away and get on their phones. BUYER BEWARE! I will never step foot in this place again nor recommend anyone go here. My fiancé at the time worked with the owner Waguih and Corrin to have my custom engagement ring made to match very clear pictures he brought in. The ring turned out to be similar, but there was a big difference on two of the sides that didn't match. The part however I'm disgusted about is both of them playing along with my ex that the stone was a real Moisanite stone when I was in there with him to talk about getting the setting changed. The only reason I found out it wasn't real and pretty much just a glorified CZ was because I had it appraised later on by a reputable jeweler I've known. In shock, I took the ring to Luxor and spoke with Corrin. She remembered me since it had only been several weeks. I asked for an appraisal on it, she was all sorts of flustered and asked me to come back later to pick up the appraisal (she ended up calling my fiancé to discuss what she should do - how sketchy is that!!!?). She also would not admit nor deny it was a Moisanite stone which I thought was very odd. When I picked up the appraisal she seemed as if she was delivering awkward/disappointing news and she was correct, she had to admit per the appraisal that the stone is NOT a Moisanite stone. I never got to speak with Waguih and nor do I care at this point, but I asked her why both she and Waguih spent 20 minutes with my fiancé and I talking about the moisointte stone and teaching me all about Moisoinnite stones because I had never heard of them! She said they went along with what my fiancé told them the stone was because he brought it in to them. That is WRONG!!! She also tried to tell me you can't determine a stone is real Moisanite without the original paperwork and that is an outright lie (a lie I learned she and my (ex)fiancé drummed up on the phone to be on the same page). I called my REPUTABLE jeweler and told him what Corrin said and he said that was absolutely not true and that he would gladly testify in court as an expert against that. Luxor Custom Jewelers credibility is ruined in my mind! I was scammed! read more

I first went to Luxor when I wanted a more sturdy replica (i.e. gold and precious stones) of a family heirloom ring I had just inherited. I had tested out a couple other custom jewelers in Fort Worth but I had been disappointed so far. Most places wanted to ship my precious heirloom across the country to a jewelry artist to create the wax mold. Not the case at Luxor! Their artist is in-house. Waguih (owner) and Corinne were the best! They were very patient with more stones week after week as I tried to commit to a center stone. It came out so much better than I anticipated that I've had more made in different colors. I've also come back for more custom pieces and converted some of my mother's jewelry into items I'd wear. Luxor is now my jeweler for life!! I won't trust anyone else. I still had pieces made by them after I moved to Denver for several years. My sister took my mother's diamond ring and had a complete custom rose gold wedding ring set made. Superb! I have purchased a few items from this jeweler but trying to get follow-up customer service for the items has been impossible. Promises to return phone calls were never returned, emails that never got answered, I have tried everything and these people just ignore me. The one time I was able to speak with someone about my request the woman was very difficult, and kept repeating what an unusual request it was. The request was extremely simple and yet the person just couldn't get over it and was stubborn and insistent that it was something they rarely did. What possible difference could it make to me as to whether they have done this many times or a few times? That should have no bearing on assisting a repeat customer.
