So my first hand experiences here were not to be present for any services but to plan for them. When I walked in, I was given a warm and friendly greeting, then introduced to one of the sales staff. I questioned and he gave answers with regards to cremations, burial trust, religious or other services, floral arrangements and obituaries. I think I have this correct that you may contract through various companies which share in the use of Broward Burial & Cremation facilities and each of these companies specializing in certain matters such as price or lavishness ceremonies. Though I haven't contracted for anything as of yet, I remain well impressed with their offerings and capabilities.

In the days immediately following my dad's death, we had had too many family members trying to influence our decision. Burial or cremation. We ended up waiting too long and had no choice except to cremate my dad. We had my poor father's remained shipped to us and when I received the package I wanted to absolutely DIE. His cremains were leaking out of the pathetic interior box they used. Opened it further, his cremains were sticking to the clear packing tape on the exterior box and leaking through the corners of the shipper. I only have the ability to talk about this now because it's been some time, my sister handled most of the arrangements and never even saw the box because it was shipped to me. I have worked in the funeral industry since my father passed away. And I am absolutely appalled. A clear plastic liner should have been used to hold my father's ashes inside the black box inside the shipper. I have never, ever seen one NOT used. So my father ended up being spread through Fedex's shipping network. I have seriously wondered if the cremains I received were even my fathers. With no way to prove it, I can only hope that they are. I will never ever forget how horrible things were handled. My father should not have leaked out of the box. And the lady handling the arrangements in their office was horrible, I hope to God she was fired. She verbally assaulted me over the phone. I hope God punishes her.

We were able to display my father-in-law's beloved Model T in front of the funeral home which was extremely meaningful to us. The funeral home had plenty of comfortable seating. There is the main room for the viewing but they also have have large side living room areas for people who may may want to step out of the main room. This was also great for some of the youngest family members. The next day when my father-in-law was taken to the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, he was personally driven there by Patricia Ralph. She was able to speak to the cemetery to get a special exception to allow the family to see the casket lowered into the ground. It is not something they normally allow and it was very appreciated. We felt extremely cared for by T.M Ralph during all aspects of the funeral. They made a difficult time easier.

Complete ripoff, headstone soaked in all the rain water and has two different colors because of the water, years later it never dried. Mom's Bronze plate faded after only 3 years while constantly cleaning and maintaining it. Spoke with the owner Gary who promised to get this issue resolve but never did. I ended up getting my grandmothers bronze name plate done through the cemetery and Gary had the audacity to ask me why I didn't go to him. The guy is very insensitive and a complete jerk to ask me that question at such a tough time all while knowing I was not happy with his work. Do not use this place they are a rip off!!!

The manager could not find the original receipt due to their upgrades to system. I was able to speak with the owner Mr Gary. He tried to locate the original receipt, but was unsuccessful. The owner, Mr. Gary decided to honor all the information that we provided to him with dates times, and he re-ordered the headstone and made sure that the headstone was delivered and place upon her grave. Upon completing the forms, digitally with digital signature , as the forms instructed. Upon emailing the completed forms, Jack called me to tell me "you need to do better" and argued with me on the digital signature provided, again as the form instructed. I was then instructed that the forms needed to be filled out in pen and ink, scanned and emailed. I was also instructed that the Broward Country release form needed to be sent to the address at the bottom of that from. Again, I complied with Jack's request. Jack then called me to yell at me for sending the form to Broward when my father was not yet deceased, which he already knew from our previous conversations. He then proceeded to accuse me of lying that I told him that my father was here and then there, deceased and then not deceased. The best party of my experince with this company and man came when he said they would refuse their serices to me and my family./ Beware as this man and the organization, he gets confused easily and then attempts to berate belittle and blame you when you follow his instructions.

What an embarrassment that my uncle's burial paperwork was not completed nor paid to the cemetery. We had the church service nearby, hundreds made a procession through the rain to the cemetery, and to be turned back around because they didn't have a plot nor tomb ready for us. The cemetery didn't get paid by the funeral home and they wanted their money. We took everyone back to their office and had a VERY unprofessional conversation with the manager and owner(s). They expected us to pay again because someone in their office didn't document payment properly and didn't reserve a spot for my uncles body. Shouldn't someone have called or at least tell us at the church? It was pouring down rain and we had my parents along with many other elderly family members dangerously wading through water in their parking lot. Some had been sitting for hours and needed to use the restrooms and I ordered refreshments to hold us over (additional unexpected expenses). My father was the last living sibling of my uncle and all we wanted was to give my uncle a good farewell. Hours later we were able to get things worked out but it was not a pretty scene. I've complained with the BBB and governing bodies, however, people need to know what kind of business practices they're up against.
