I was here early in the morning and there was nobody around. They are located in an easily accessible parking lot of Cool Hand Luke's steakhouse saloon. So if you're here when the restaurant is open, it can be a good place to stop, get a drink, and use the restroom. The spots themselves are pretty wide and there's plenty of room to plug in. There's also a handicapped spot. The rates are also pretty standard and reasonable although I did not pay since my Tesla has lifetime supercharging.

He saw me stopped at the air pump and offered his help right away, insurance was giving the run around and saying it was gonna be $800 to tow it to Santa Maria and Frank was able to fix it right there on the spot for $100! Also, my tires are tube tire tires with wire rims, so it is something more specialty that most people don't know how to do and he did not blink an eye! I had the spare tube thankfully and He popped it in there and had me back on the road within 45 minutes! Literally could not have been happier with the whole experience!

Elijah came to my rescue today while I was stranded on the 99 heading home for the holidays…read more My car's fail safe was activated while I was driving in a 2-lane area of the freeway, there were barricades on either side of the lanes (no shoulders) and I couldn't reach a nearby exit before my car completely shut down. I created a huge amount of traffic, so I assumed that after contacting a local towing company, it would take a long time for them to get through the traffic and load my car. Elijah happened to be passing by in the traffic, and offered to help me off the freeway to wait for my tow truck. I was only 5 minutes from my car shop so he took me there before heading to his scheduled job. (We also coordinated with the tow truck that was originally called). Elijah definitely didn't need to step in, but he really went above and beyond to help out. He saw I was in need, and was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I did however have roadside assistance since I had a new Kia Sorento but after waiting some time all they did was put a spare on which we managed to do ourselves but they did not recommend we drive back home on our spare. But at that point they were unable to do anything more for me but send me on my way. Luckily I had placed a phone call to one tire company that was open 24 hours and they were absolutely understanding an awesome.. It was earlier in the morning and I desperately needed to be somewhere. I called several mobile commercial tire repair shops, but no one was available at that moment. I called Mark from Marks tire. I told him my problem and where I was. He said his shop was right around the corner. I drove a mile down the road to his shop. Mark himself showed up a little before opening time, him and another employee got right to work. I was back on the road in 30 minutes. I can't remember the last time I saw a business owner getting his hands dirty. This is a great business owned by an old school guy.

It's an $800+ tire that will need to be ordered so I hopped on Yelp to find a local dealer to handle it over my break. The folks at Marks were so helpful and would be happy to order a new tire but suggested their techs should take a close look at the problem to see if it could be repaired. So in I go and they pulled off the tire, fixed it, and remounted it all in less than an hour for $57. Really terrific service, great staff, total professionals and a lesser shop could have easily sold me a pricey tire but Mark's took the time to see if they could fix mine up instead and I super appreciate it. I'll be back next time I need tires for sure.
