Less than impressive. The lady at the desk was nice. The med tech was awesome. Very helpful and performed with efficiency without sacrificing care. The Nurse Practioner, Charlene Baldwin had a laissez faire attitude. Pretty much is not broken go home. I requested that they at least wrap it as the ankle was considerably swollen compared to the uninjured ankle to at least provide some support. I came in because I woke up this morning with a swollen eyelid. Figured it was pink eye since I have kids or a stye but went in anyways to make sure. I came in and filled out paperwork and within 10 minutes I was seen. I put in my paperwork I had high blood pressure which I've had for years with no medication but thought nothing of it. Saw the doctor I believe his name was Mark? He prescribed me eyedrops and immediately asked about my BP since it was pretty high when they checked, and what meds I've tried, and he prescribed me something for that too. I almost cried because many doctors I've seen just say monitor it. I've had a lot of health issues between having my 2 kids, seizures, seen neurologists, ENT's, Mark was by FAR the nicest doctor I have met in the last 8 years, and I've met quite a few, and he only saw me for about 10 mins. I will forever come here as long as he's here and will always recommend this place. read more

I took my two daughters here on Sunday to be seen, for fever cough and body aches. as the nurse Tammy goes to call us back she looks at us an goes ALL OF YOU ARE COMING I responded yes mind u it was me my mom an 2 daughters . we proceed to go to the back she starts asking my daughter what's wrong my daughter didn't t answer so I started to talk an the nurse Tammy looked at me like be quite let her talk mind you my daughter is a minor I have the right to speak for her . after she takes vitals of my girl we go to the room the doctor Nadine comes in she ask what's going on I go to explain an say I want them to have a x ray due to them having same symptoms as me an I have pneumonia an she proceeds to cut me off and says let me examine them. she proceeds to exam my youngest first an says her lungs . an I said yes I know they may sound clear but I just left the hospital with mine sounded clear an they did a x-ray just to be safe an it showed pneumonia. she goes to exam my oldest daughter my daughter tells her I do not have a shirt on under my jacket so I cant lift it up. the doctor Nadine said ok I can do the exam with your jacket on but then still lifts the back of her jacket up an goes ohh you don't have a shirt on an made my daughter every uncomfortable for lifting her jacket. I continued to still ask for the x-ray an she kept denying it an finally only did one on my youngest an was being sarcastic about an asked her ok what color do you want to light up. the nurse Tammy comes in an says ok let's go take the x ray I said ok an told my oldest daughter to go with her an the nurse Tammy got all attitude an said well you do know she will have to stand outside an I said yes I do know why would I send my daughter alone with a stranger!!!!!!!! they come back we are waiting in room for 15 minutes an mind you I have never sat that longer there waiting for results from a x ray at that place. so I left they didn't even bother to call me the same day with results they had someone call me the next day saying she had pneumonia!!!!!!!!!! THEY NEGLECT my children by not listening because I was right the whole time!!!!!!!!!!! so my daughters had to go a extra day without medicine because they refused to listen on what I had to save !!!!!!!!! I took them to there regular doctor the next morning an sure enough there lungs weren't clear and they both have pneumonia !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went in on a Sunday after having a fever for five days. They ran no tests and sent me home saying, "it's a virus." I stated I was developing a rash as well and was told "viruses these days! They do weird stuff!" Four days later still feeling awful I went to a different Urgent Care that was able to diagnose me with strep throat and scarlet fever. The receptionist was rude and obnoxious. I waited past my appointment time and I was the first one while she and the nurse talked loudly about Vegas. The nurse told me to take a child's Medicine. She was rude and i asked her to watch her tone. These people do not care about your health. This is a social place for them to sit around. I've had better experiences with other doctors at this location but today the female doctor (nurse practitioner?) was just rude. I said it may take a bit long to explain what was happening and she just said "keep it short." I understand being on a tight schedule but I was literally the ONLY patient. Even when I went online to book the appointment none of the other slots were taken for the day. She spent less than 5 minutes total with me and was condescending and had an attitude of "let's get this over with so I can go back to doing nothing." Total and complete waste of $70. This place was horrible. It was convenient at first because i scheduled an appointment online, but I wasn't seen until 40 minutes after I got there. Their credit card machine wasn't working. I told them I had my tonsils out and that i still sometimes get strep. The doctor said "that's impossible" ? Which is a really weird thing to argue about because I clearly have had strep several times after my surgery. Overall was very incompetent and I had to fight to advocate for myself several times. She was rude, blunt, and at no point did I feel like she cared about me or her job. It was by far the most bizzare experience i've had at an urgent care. They took 30 more minutes to come back after testing me for strep (I've seen it done in 5 minutes so i don't know what they were waiting for) Don't go here. read more

Imagine how embarrassed I was a couple Saturday mornings ago when I slipped in my bathroom and landed face first into the tub. Before you ask, I was completely sober. While I don't recall the actual impact, and I have no idea how I ended up back in bed, the end result of the incident was far from pleasant. Turns out I skinned a portion of the top of my tongue and took a out a chunk from the right side. This, I discovered upon brushing my teeth. Thinking nothing about it, I proceeded to go to the farmer's market that morning and went to a pool party later in the day. We had a good laugh about my mishap because I sounded I like Cindy Brady. The following day, I went to brunch and a movie, then a going-away dinner. By Sunday night the pain was excruciating, so I knew the next morning I'd have to go to urgent care. Fortunately, this place is a short walk from home. I was the first person here that Monday morning. The process was simple and reception was pleasant. Although the medical person was running late due to traffic, she saw me promptly on arrival and conducted a quick examination. Yes, my tongue was infected (which I already knew as it swelled up enough to fill my mouth). With a prescription for antibiotics, I was out the door in under 45 minutes. The pills did wonders, and while my tongue is still a little sensitive nearly 2 weeks later, I feel fine. If you don't have insurance, the visit will set you back $90. A reasonable price to be able to get in immediately for treatment. Lesson learned: don't clean the bathroom floor so we'll that's a slip and slide. read more

My Wife Was Badly Treated Today In Our First Visit. I came with her to the urgent care this morning so she could check on some concerning chest pains. While she was there, the nurse who checked her temperature, did her X-ray, etc., treated her in a very careless and rude way. My wife is already nervous coming into doctor's offices and this was a very bad experience for her. She needed to get an X-ray to check on the chest pains, but had to check if she was pregnant first. After the nurse had tested my wife's sample, she didn't even tell her if she was pregnant, but just hustled her into the X-ray room. When my wife pressed her to find out if she was pregnant, the nurse rudely said, without even looking at her, that, no she wasn't pregnant, which is why she was getting the X-ray. Then the nurse ordered her to take off her bra without even acknowledging her rudeness. Health is a very sensitive and personal thing for my wife, and for her to be treated like she wasn't human, but having people just order her around and telling her very personal information so rudely, is not the way that she or anyone should be treated at a health office. My wife was very nervous about her chest pains and stressed about wondering if she was pregnant and it was not right for her to be treated this way. I am extremely disappointed and upset at this experience today and I doubt we will be back. read more

It's great place to go in a time crunch, but if you can wait to go somewhere else you should do that. I went in to get a strep test, and the nurse proceeded to try and swab my throat but swabbed everywhere except my tonsils for a good 3 minutes and then proceeded to get upset at me for gagging and pulling back. Then I was such a frustration to her that she walked out of the room and said "someone else can try later". I waited longer and someone else came in and looked at my throat and said nah you probably have covid have a good day. Definitely wasn't a great experience. Fast and simple. Front desk lady was super generous and friendly. Prices are reasonable.

NEVER going back. misdiagnosed my wife, didn't listen, gave her narcotics instead of a simple anti nausea med. chargeed way too much for a 2 min visit and kicked my wife outside so they could close instead of waiting 2 minutes for her ride. The MD gave her steroids to fight a virus which would make it harder to fight. Guy is a quack and is more concerned about getting out the door than practicing medicine. An addendum. The company was good enough to refund the charges, and the MD will no longer so work there at the end of the month. read more

I had such a horrible experience this morning at Alliance urgent care. I have been to them in the past and I've never had any problems. This morning I was experiencing a very bad asthma attack, I asked my daughter to take me and she did waiting time with Harley nothing the minute I got in I couldn't believe I was dealing with a bunch of Airheads. The girl that came in to take my vitals, I told her I was in distress and she just goes uh huh; I need to help I need someone to help me so I can breathe, I need a breathing treatment. She say okay never no urgency whatsoever and her voice. In comes the other Airhead turns out she is a physician's assistant she told me oh your air your oxygen level is perfect there's nothing we can do I'm looking at her and I can barely speak because I can't breathe. I cant get any air in she just looks at me like and repeats well your oxygen level is good. By then I'm looking at her and telling her I need a breathing treatment my daughter told this Airhead physician's assistant my mom needs a breathing treatment can't you give her one finally this positions assistant says okay. The person who took my vitals comes in with the nebulizer and the medicine doesn't screw the top on right so when I turn the whole medicine goes flying everywhere and, I'm looking at my daughter just like I don't believe this is happening. The physician's assistant comes in and said so are you feeling better I'm going yes at least I can breathe a little bit and she says there's really nothing else we can do. This woman needs to go back to school and learn about "asthma" . At this point my daughter says I should have taken you to the emergency room obviously they don't know what they're doing. I had an absolutely terrible experience at this urgent care and would urge anyone to avoid this place at all costs. I would give it -3 stars if I could. I was miserable with the flu but was out of town for a work training. I made an appointment, came on time, directly after work and still waited for well over an hour. When I got in, I met with a female PA who just went through the motions, nothing special. At the end, I had a few questions about my birth control. I had left it at home and just asked if there was any way they could fill my prescription. It has messed me up the last time I was off it, but she instead told me bluntly just to have self control and walked away. I was sick, waited WAY too long in that awful place and was shocked at how unprofessional and uncaring this woman was. The next kicker is that this visit was 2 years ago, but I JUST got the bill for this visit. Somehow they read my address wrong and sent bills that got returned to sender. I just got a call the other day (TWO YEARS LATER) asking for my address and got the bill in the mail. This place is terrible... read more

The Front Office staff was awesome. Super sweet and quick with paperwork. MA (male, but forget name) was very good as well. Nurse Practitioner was AWFUL! I am a health care provider and I would never ever send anyone I knew there. I went in for pink eye, which was confirmed by a different HCP, and this nurse practitioner told me she simply did not know what it was she said it could be "allergies", could be "the wind" (WHATTTT?), a burst blood vessel (present extremely different from pink eye and I have no hx of this what so ever), or possible pink eye but she "just didn't know". Please use you medical degree and critical thinking skills please... and then she prescribed an ointment instead of drops to treat pink eye. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't go here and definitely don't bring your kids here. read more

I went here for strep and every time for that was good but I went here for shingles recently and I get them at least once a year so I know the medicine dose. The doctors have no idea what they're doing the medicine dose is 1G valtrex THREE times a day for SEVEN days I've gotten that everytime and you will see that with a quick Google search as well. I walked out and saw the prescription she gave me and it was TWO pills for ONE DAY?! Excuse me, doing that does nothing and will just make the rash come back possibly worse. I went back in and talked to the receptionist when she came back with a compromised prescription TWO times a day for seven days. This is a non addictive substance. I only let it go because I have some leftover low dose medicine I can use to replace the mid day dose from my doctor back home. Unless you're going for a simple test don't go here because obviously they don't know what they're doing. read more

If I could rate this experience lower than one star I would. I went in because I was experiencing an extremely sore throat for over a week, my right tonsil was covered in white spots and my right ear felt large amounts of pressure (tmi I'm sorry) I had a fever of 102 every night and I was in bad shape. I explained all of this to the nurse practitioner I saw, I do not remember her name but she was short and had short hair like a guys haircut. She then proceeded to look at my tonsils and my ears. While she was doing so she kept saying " yep you got the crud I'm sorry to tell ya" then said "you have food stuck in your tonsils that is why they are so enlarged and look that way" I told her that I have never heard of food being stuck inside the tonsils. I asked her to give me a strep test, so another lady came in and swabbed my throat but it wasn't your normal throat swab she jabbed the Qtip into my mouth, with an attitude like she was upset to be doing it!(very awkward experience) So 10 minutes later the original practitioner came back in saying it was just a viral cold and sent me off saying there was nothing she could do. I decided to go to a different urgent care that was down the street and the man I saw was shocked by my tonsils and my ear was filled with fluid and come to find out, I have a severe case of tonsillitis and had to rush to the hospital! I couldn't believe 30 minutes earlier some lady told me it was a virus and that I had FOOD in my TONSILS. If you care about your family, your children, your friends, just people in general, DO NOT GO HERE. You will be told ludicrous statements and have your sickness/pain swept under the rug, so they can shove "viral infection" down your throat. I will never go here again, and I hope to god that the woman who told me I have food in my tonsils reads this and gets her license taken away because she absolutely does not deserve to be a practitioner. I am also giving her the benefit of the doubt, that she is actually ignorant and doesn't know better. I really don't want to think she purposely lied to me. read more

We've needed a convenient local urgent care facility rather than using large emergency rooms in this part of town. We got the chance to use it yesterday when my wife fell and thought she broke her ankle. We got in, saw the doctor, had four x-rays taken, casual conversation with the doctor, and abrasions wrapped and out the door in one hour. The staff was casually professional, quick, and friendly. Without this facility, we would have had to use the hospital or wait until the next day. One hour-----if we had to use the hospital, we'd still be there. read more

I needed to get an appointment to get some stitches removed from my finger. I called my primary care physician, the hospital I went to and a few other places and nobody could accomodate me in a reasonable amount of time. I contacted Alliance, and they were able to get me in same day. Not only did they get me in, but unlike almost ever other dr experience I've ever had, they were ready when I arrived! Check in was a breeze and within 10 minutes or so up on arriving, I was already in the back awaiting the doctor. All total, I think I spent maybe 30 minutes there? It was a great experience (or as good as it can get when you're at Urgent Care). The staff was courteous, speedy and professional. Highly recommend this place if you're in need of urgent care in the area. read more

So bad I can't even believe it. Read the reviews and thought about going elsewhere but was hurting so figured I would try. That was a mistake. The pa gave next to no info, no what to look for if it gets worse or how long it could take to heal or thoughts on following up with a primary. I honestly think it was the biggest waste of my time. Googling would have provided more info. I had to keep asking questions to get anything from her and kept getting no info with bunch of I don't know it depends on what you do and what your lifestyle is. Ok how about you ask me what I do and how much I will use my wrist. It was so frustrating and after a few minutes of this I could see it was going nowhere so I just took my script and left. Such a waste of my time and money. The office staff wasn't much better either. Maybe they all hate their jobs or just don't like people. Trust me and trust the massive amount of bad reviews and go to another urgent care. I will say that it was quick to get back there was only two other people in the office and I had an appointment and was back in the room within a few minutes but since I had no definitive answers or diagnosis maybe nobody does and that's why it's so quick. I hate to give such an awful review but this was so horrible I do t want it to happen to someone else. read more

Although this place was quick to get admitted, the service is terrible. I have full insurance coverage and the PA, Nadine Shelepak, treated me as if I didn't have any. She did not assess me and I was still charged and billed. I DO NOT recommend coming here. Go somewhere else to get treated. read more

Went to Alliance Camelback and was treated by Kyle Tisi immediately. I believe an N.P. He was great. Was able to remove nail almost painlessly, and gave me further information on a related issue. I have been coming here and bringing my two boys here for about over 3 years now and I have never had a bad experience. I make it a point to see the P.A Nadine. She is always very knowledgeable and friendly and she doesn't beat around the bush when it comes to medical advice. My only wish would be that she worked in a primary care setting. But for now Alliance Urgent Care will always be my preference when needing last minute medical care. The staff all are also very friendly. read more
