Usually I have bad experiences at any urgent care for the wait time and not even that the Doctor and nurse were amazing. Super nice and cared about me and explained everything perfect. This is absolutely the worst urgent care I have ever been too. I took my daughter 8 days ago to the buckeye location and she was very sick with mostly Covid symptoms. The doctor came in with an attitude and being very rude, even towards my ten year old that wasn't feeling good. Not to mention we waited 2 1/2 hours in the room to be seen. They covid tested her and I was told 2-3 days for results. I called multiple times concerned as i still do not have results and it's been 9 days now. I have spoken with multiple people and all but one guy are rude and hateful and not at all concerned about the results taking this long, and upset with me for calling, as I am bugging them. Today I finally decided to call Sonora Quest myself to see what's going on and they said they sent results to Alliance in buckeye on the 13th, two days after she was tested... but Alliance says it's pending and no results each time I call. I called back to ask them for results as Sonora Quest couldn't tell me over the phone because she's a minor and they said we don't have time to deal with this right now, we are busy and hung up on me. I do not recommend anyone to go to this urgent care! I have never been treated like this is a healthcare facility. A waste of time and money. I finally got an appointment with my Dr. after visiting this urgent care. The nurse and Dr laughed when they saw what they prescribed me. A difficult decision. I have been here several times and have nothing but good things to say about them. My last visit was completely unprofessional. How would any health care provider think it is alright to walk in ripping me to shreds and I have no idea why. And very little chance to get a word in. If she has a problem from home or wherever why take it out on me. I doubt if she would have treated a 68 year old woman this way. Men beware. This review is late in coming, I went there in August 2014. I had fallen and hurt my arm and could hardly move it. I saw that PA Nadine, they took an x-ray of my arm and told me it was a bad contusion. I went straight home and 20 minutes later got a phone call from them saying they had just read my x-ray, and my arm was fractured. They had me come back immediately for a sling. Why did they not read the x-ray when I was there. I will never go back or refer anyone here. The next day I went to an orthopedic surgeon, for my arm. read more

Clean, professional, not scary. There was no one else waiting there, so I saw a nurse practitioner immediately and was out the door 15 minutes after I walked in. She was super sharp and explained my illness and her prescription very clearly. If you can't get to your general practitioner, this is a fantastic alternative. read more

....update.... provider seen: dr. thomas moffo another terrible experience. i've been getting a non-narcotic medication refilled here for the last couple years because i can't get in with a pcp. today the doctor didn't want to give me more than a days worth because he said it's inappropriate to come to an urgent care for a refill. since when? it was noted on my paperwork that i can't get a refill in the future. so now what? if i end up in the hospital because i can't get my medicine i'm filing a lawsuit. i don't understand why some providers have no issue but whenever it's some new provider they give me the run around and just want to send me on my way. when the doctor saw in my facial gestures that i'm fucked and pissed he was like i wish there was more i could do and started laughing. i wish death upon dr. thomas moffo. f*** you dude. just remember who served your country. i've been coming here on and off for about 3-4 years now. i'm a veteran with combat induced ptsd and i don't get any va benefits which is a whole other story in itself. i used to think highly of this urgent care especially when dr. nadine shelepak would see me and understand the medication i need to help with flashbacks and shell shock. until dr. nicole neely saw me and sent me home with nothing and looked at me like i was a drug addict... i have had issues with this place. it's really a hit or miss depending on the provider and their opinions on certain medications. i try to call ahead of time when i need a refill to ask who the provider is so i don't go there for nothing but they can't provide that information over the phone. i suffer on a daily basis and just wish i could find a doctor that understands. and that is especially difficult when you don't have a primary care doctor and rely on urgent care just for refills on medication. read more

The facility is very clean and I got in and out quick. However, the staff lacks personality and friendliness.

My usual urgent care was crowded, and I was seeking relief from pneumonia-like symptoms. I was lured here by the overall positive reviews-- my mistake. The online check-in and the professional receptionist were the highlights of the visit; unfortunately it all went downhill from there. Neither the nurse's assistant nor the P.A. (Nadine) showed much care or concern; rather, their attitudes could best be described as curt and dismissive. Funny though, they weren't rushed-- I was the only patient in the building. The exam was very brief (only my breathing was checked) and the diagnosis was very vague, to the tune of "you have whatever's going around." I was prescribed a cough suppressant that turned out to be worthless. I got the distinct feeling that neither employee wanted to be there. The symptoms did not dissipate. I finally went back to FastMed, where the nurses and PA treated me with great concern and professionalism. After several tests and chest x-rays, it was determined that I had pneumonia. In short, I've learned my lesson. Other places might have longer wait times, but there's generally a good reason for that. I would never recommend this place. Go to FastMed instead! read more

This was by far the WORST experience i have ever been through at any Urgent Care. I had taken my two babies here tonight, got off late at work and they urgently needed to be seen. I walked in gave KIM the receptionist my daughters date of birth, and she says OH it looks like your account has been flagged. I responded, "flagged" what does that mean, "well it looks that you have a balance on your account and we will not be able to see your children here until this bill is resolved. I explained what type of insurance my children have and that there should not be a balance on the account. She said well it looks here that this balance needs to be paid by our billing department before we can see your children. I then asked her to print out the statement, it had the wrong address-which is why i was not notified and is was in regards to my insurance for services I had there. I let her know that my kids are on a totally different insurance policy and that my balance has nothing to do with my babies accounts. She then said we are not able to give you service, not to mention i did show up at 7:40PM and they close at 8PM. I argued with her until 8:05 PM urging that she will not deny service for my 2 year old and 3 year old. She then said i will call the cops if you don't leave this office. I then asked for a manager, she looks at me with confusion, and said there is no manager here. I asked to speak with the PA, they will do nothing for you, do to the balance on the account. I then asked for a number i can call to discuss what was going on. She ended up called someone, which i thought was 911. Ended up being her manager, she then stated we will see you one time, and that is it. I was so pissed off the fact that i called before i showed up and they said they will see my kids. First off my 3 year old, had a fever of 101.7 at school so my mother picked both kids up, 3 hours later her fever was still the same after given children's Advil, she then gave her Tylenol and her fever went to 101.4. She was complaining of neck pain and head hurts. She was crying the whole time till i got there and i ended up deciding to take her in. My son, has a puffy rash like red face- no fever with a rash on his arms. His tongue was white, and white thick bumps on the back of his tongue. You can tell they do not feel well. I was super concerned about both my kids, that is why i went to URGENT CARE in the first place. I then got called back, the Guy Nurse was super nice-other then he didn't seem to care for his job whatsoever. The PA walked in, short, short hair i forgot her name. She asked why they were being seen. I gave all the details she checks out my daughter, ears, throat, and says this is viral- i let her know that she hasn't been eating and she will take down liquids every so often but just a little. She stated that she doesn't need to eat for 2-3 days and she will be perfectly fine, she mention nothing about intake on liquids nor did she care to the start of her walking in the room. It ended up being viral- which i thought there has to be more to do with her discomfort in her neck- and all around symptoms. Moving on to my son- gave her the details for him. PA checks his ears, throat, thought everything was viral as well. I asked if we can do a strep test-or if we can determine if this is thrush of the mouth and body- she mention that children do not develop strep until they are school aged kids. Which i found very misleading.The rash on face-arms, the swelling of his face, and the discomfort he was in. Again it was viral. I asked if there was any cream to put on his rash- due to it being open wounds. No cream, she said again this is viral. I asked her if this is contagious, she said that this is not contagious- as i am walking out of the room with the discharge summary and notes for there day care- she said if your son ends up spreading his rash to you then it is called contagious... like wth. I asked her, should he be put on medicine, she replied again, it is viral. I am so pissed off at this time. I would never recommend or think of coming to alliance ever again. If you care for your family, and it is your main priority to make sure everything is done accurately, do not come here. I believe my service was not taken care of the right way due to them wanting to get out of the office and it was extra work for them if they needed to prescribe my children with medicine. I am checking in with there primary care- and i am just hoping she diagnosed them correctly. This company-office was disrespectful, uncalled for, only time concerned.. My mother recently came to visit me from Indiana, and became extremely ill with an upper respiratory infection while she was here. I took her to Alliance Urgent Care and was seen by their PA Ninnah (spelling may be incorrect). Just to give some background before i explain what happened, i'm a fourth year medical student. While i certainly don't claim to know everything there is to know about medicine, I know enough to consider myself fairly knowledgable. As soon as the PA walked in the room i could tell she had an obvious chip on her shoulder. She asked if my mother has had a temperature to which i replied "no, I have checked twice and her temperature has remained below 100.4 F (for those who do not know, 100.4 F or 38 C is the accepted medical definition of a fever)". She replied to me in a very rude tone that the correct definition of a fever is 102 F. Before coming to the clinic i explained to my mother that she didn't need antibiotics because the infection was most likely viral. When my mother asked for antibiotics the PA was extremely rude in explaining why she wasn't going to prescribe antibiotics. She then walked out of the room with no explanation as to what her plan was. When she came back, I am assuming she reviewed my mothers medical records because she asked my mother why she takes erythromycin daily. My mother explained her Dermatologist put her on it for recurring staph infections (Impetigo) on her face. The PA responded "that's completely ridiculous and not indicated; in my 20 years as a PA i have never seen that treatment regimen". I didn't bother telling her that she was wrong, she is not a dermatologist, and has no idea what is and isn't indicated for chronic recurring impetigo. It was clear the room was not big enough for both her ego and my comment. After boasting about the dermatologist being wrong, i asked if she was going to prescribe a corticosteroid to take down the inflammation. Again, she responded in a very rude tone: "No, corticosteroids are not indicated for pharyngitis". She then explained her treatment regimen: Tessalon Perles, Afrin, Fluticasone (an intranasal corticosteroid), and Promethazine. Even though my mother was not happy, i did agree with her treatment plan 100%. However, in her case, wisdom clearly did not come with age and experience. Not only did she not know the simple definition of a fever, or that fluticasone is a corticosteroid, but she also never advised my mother not to use Afrin for more than 3 - 5 days because past that point it will actually cause rebound congestion. Overall, i felt the PA's bedside manner was below poor; she was extremely rude, incredibly egotistical, and incompetent. read more
