Allie's Cabin in Beaver Creek is an absolute must-do experience. From the moment the open sleigh ride up the mountain began, we were in awe--the ride itself was breathtaking, with snow-covered views that felt straight out of a winter postcard. The setting is magical and truly sets the tone before you even arrive. Once at the cabin, everything felt cozy, welcoming, and thoughtfully done. The food overall was yummy and enjoyable, though the lasagna wasn't our favorite. That said, the incredible atmosphere, unique sleigh ride, and mountain setting made this a memorable experience we'll be talking about for a long time. We made a reservation over a month in advance. Needed to change the time by 30 minutes. Called every day. No one ever called back. There was no email address. On day of reservation, went in person and asked for our reservation for 2 to be changed by 30 minutes. At first their in person representative Jasmine said, "yes"and she was so sorry and she wanted me to tell my story to their executives because it was so terrible that I couldn't reach anyone. She gave me her phone number and said she would get our reservation changed and be right back. She stepped away to make a call and returned saying, she couldn't do anything to help us. The absolute most rude hostess we have ever encountered (blondish lady with glasses)! Greeted with eye rolls, sarcasm, and nasty comments. Rotten, nasty person. How does someone like that work in an upscale resort like beaver creek where you are paying for service, I do not understand. The food was ok. Not worth the price. Bread that was served ice cold. We had a later dining time and were part of a very large group to be taken down at the end of the night. Waited an extra 30 minutes because the staff loaded the food onto the sleigh ride from the bottom of the mountain and then unloaded it once to the restaurant while everyone waited. Why wouldn't this be done once all of the customers have been taken back down the mountain. There must have been 30 people that had to wait for this to be done (just for context, we're not talking about a small group of stragglers). Was a fun experience overall, but when paying Beaver Creek prices there is a level of quality and service expected and we did not have that. read more

We did the snowcat adventure up for dinner. It was a fun experience. The food was excellent. We both had different salads and thought they were amazing. The focaccia bread was the best we've ever had. My husband got the chicken with roasted potatoes and said he would order it again. I ordered the beef tenderloin with roasted potatoes. I have a home in Bachelor Gulch. I do a girls week 1 week out of the year. I booked a reservation in August 2025 for the end of February 2026. I received a email confirmation that they received my reservation. This week I received a email telling me they cancelled my reservation. I called and the lady I spoke with told me they had a "Glitch" in their system. They booked the restaurant for a group event. She asked if she could book for a different day. I asked for Monday or Tuesday the same week. They are closed. We can't do any other time during my girls week as we have reservations and plans at other places. The woman I spoke with just flat didn't care. I will share with everyone I know and the Bachelor Gulch Club what happened. I will never go there. Just beware if you have a specific week, you might not get your reservation even if you have a confirmation...if they have something better come up your out! read more

We took a wonderful evening bobcat sleigh ride while it was snowing. Seats were wet but this was expected for the location. Restaurant was nice cozy and warm. Cocktails were delicious @20-23 USD per cocktail. Bison Bolognese was unavailable so we ordered the Tomahawk for two @155 USD. A large 3 inch cut properly cooked whole steak in bone was brought out. We requested the steak to be filleted by the Chef or server since we were to share this meal. The request was refused by the chef. Nonetheless we proceeded to filet the meat as best we could. What a wonderful dinner over Christmas week! We started with a snowcat ride up the mountain. Your reservation time is for your snowcat ride - a 7 PM reservation means you'll take the 7 PM snowcat and get to the restaurant around 7:15. (It is cold so bundle up - there are blankets but the prior guests have probably let them fall on the floor or get snowy on both sides.) There's a roaring fire near the bar, wonderful food, and really nice service. The sommelier had a most welcome wine suggestion (and didn't try to embarrass us by only recommending $200+ wines when we asked to stay under $100). Our server (Katie, maybe?) was on top of things the whole time. I loved her menu suggestions. I had the lasagna -- very cosy and filling, and not actually lasagna-like. It almost tasted like a dense soufflé with bolognese and bechamel. Delicious. The real star was the carrot cake dessert. If it's on the menu, do not pass this by. Start with it, in fact. Get two pieces (one portion was nicely sized but I could have downed an entire cake without stopping). It was plainly served but packed the most awesome browned butter creaminess I've ever had. read more

What an underwhelming experience. To start, the snowcat to take us up had wet seats. We were sat quickly, which was great. Our server was great, but they were unable to make several drinks including a Manhattan and dirty martini because of a lack of ingredients- shocking for a place like this. Apps were average. The bolognese was good. I had the chicken, which was simply awful. It was well cooked, but terribly under seasoned. Broccolini tasted burnt like char. Other veggies were average. The beet salad was the best plate imo. Not worth paying the prices. Get a Digorno and bottle of wine instead. read more

We were looking forward to this after such a wonderful experience last year but this year just wasn't up to par. Our waiter was friendly and personable but it took 45 minutes for him to even take our appetizer order. Other tables sat at the same time as us were leaving by the time our entrees were served. The food quality was unacceptable as well. We sent the brussel sprouts back they tasted so bitter and the tenderloin was severely undercooked even for ordering it medium-rare. You get to the cabin by climbing inside a snowcat and being transported. Can't really see the outside terrain. I had the pleasure of recently experiencing Allie's Cabin for their D'Arenberg winery dinner. It was simply amazing; I mean if you like sleigh rides, fireworks, cozy fires, fantastic food and perfectly paired wine, then amazing is the best descriptor! Each course was better then the next. By the end I couldn't eat another bite, but was fortunate enough to score one of the few glasses of dessert wine to sip by the fireplace while we waited on the sleigh. My favorite course, and one I'll reminisce on often, was the Cassoulet with a small side of blue cheese and salami. The host, which has worked at the cabin for something like 20 years, was very attentive and did a great intro into the wine and dinner. I would highly recommend!! read more

Maybe it was the holidays but I will never eat there again. The snowcat going up was ok but coming back the blankets & seats were wet. It was so cold that my face was burning and our eyes were tearing. It is a beautiful rustic cabin but we ordered veal chop and it was fried and tasteless, the potatoes must have been doubled salted so we couldn't eat them and we left 75% of the veal on the plate. It took our waitress 30 minutes to come take our order. We told her we were very hungry, could she please take our order. She jumped on it and our food came pretty fast. We didn't stay for desert, coffee or after dinner drinks. Paid around $600 for 4 people and 2 of our guest said, "There food was terrible". Because we live in Vail we didn't complain but they lost my family and my guests return business. read more

The hostess made such a stink and was so bothered from the minute we walked in. She almost had us leave just because of the mixup. They accommodated us but not without making me feel absolutely horrible. She stood glaring at my children for standing up to stretch their legs and giving my family nasty looks. We were told from reservation agency that this was a family restaurant. HARDLY! i would never have brought my young children there. Our waitress also had such an attitude. It started with a sleigh ride up the mountain being pulled by one of the Cats used to groom the snow on the slopes of Beaver Creek. I was very grateful for the blankets that were provided. Once inside we were greeted with our first wine. The server even knew my name. Now that was a surprise. Before dinner there was time to mingle & a fireworks display in the valley. Fine dining should be about having fun, not pretending like your dinner party is a judge-table on a cooking show. Ostentatious, obnoxious, overpriced. I need to be upfront at the start! This is our third adventure of this type. We have done the horse drawn sleigh dinner in Park City and the snow cat dinner in Mammoth Mountain. Funny, but, this is a cross of these two. Yet, the dinner house is by far the most elaborate and elegant. Allie's Cabin is a very nice adventure, but, I want to share one thing that we got lucky with.......do this adventure when there is a Full Moon!!!!!! OMG!!!! the ride up and down is majestic!!!! Everything is lite up to the point that it is a picture post card!!!! Just incredible!!! Now for my review of the food. Actually, we did not expect it to be as good as it really was! Really, really GOOD!!! I had the Elk Filet and my wife had the Pork Chop Tomahawk. Really GOOD!!!! If I have to critique anything, I will have to say that the staff did not fill my water glass and iced tea glasses at all. They never came by to even ask. We had the 7:30 seating and really there was no excuse for this. The numbers we very lite at this time and should not have been a problem to this level. The ride and food are excellent, but, the service had a little problem. The price will catch you a little. Even they list $105 per person, our final bill with tip automatically included, was $316 for 2. I cannot imagine wha the cost would be for a family of 4 with Adults drinking wine. I would have to say that the table next to use that had bottles of wine spent over $1000 for their meal. Once again, the ride and food were great, but, be ready for the price tag and the possiblity of poor service. We had a very nice time, but, we most likely will not return. read more

Fine dining in a stately cabin set amidst aspen groves, with a breathtaking view of Beaver Creek mountain and the surrounding valley. Inside, a magnificent floor-to-ceiling fire place is the focal point of the dining room. Stepping outside, there is a large deck that is the perfect venue for enjoying sun, the view, good food and drinks. In such a gorgeous setting, food almost becomes an afterthought, but I am glad to reflect that the food we had was high quality and well executed. Perhaps not innovative or complex-flavoured, but solid classic American dishes done well (our group menu included tomato soup, a few appetizers, organic greens with goat cheese and hazelnut salad, tenderloin, salmon trout, and some other main I can't remember now). The view of the surrounding aspen forest and beaver creek village below, and the cozy fireplace and cabin feel set the tone for a rustic, but upscale evening. 10/10 recommend for the ambience. Each of the 5 courses were very well paired to the wine selections, the food was satisfying with out being too heavy. I'm a pescatarian, and the chef was able to accommodate my needs in a way that still ate so well with my wine. The sleigh ride to and from the cabin served as a cherry on top of this evening. An open air sleigh on a clear night is unbeatable. Mediterranean menu, but not a lot of good choices. We had a party of 6 - the appetizers and salads were good. The gnocchi was not good, veal was not good, tenderloin was average. Lamb shank was good. Dessert menu didn't have many choices - tiramasu good, but not really any others. Just not worth the cost. Service was slow and not very attentive. We had much better meals elsewhere. My husband and I were invited to a wedding in beaver creek, and this cabin happened to be the site for the reception. Wow, what a memorable and beautiful place to attend a reception. It had been sprinkling on and off all afternoon but once we made it to the top it seemed as though someone up above cleared the skies just for us. This granted us a glorious view of the valley below and a very beautiful sunset. My husband being a huge Broncos fan ushered in the sight with one of his favorite sayings, you know God loves us because the sunsets are orange and blue! The view was not the only sight, the large balcony provided a terrific view of the surrounding aspen forest, granting lovely smells of pine, and the occasional relief of the crowds inside on the dance floor. Just the cool down spot we needed after cutting some serious rug. The decor is exactly the cozy vibe one would hope for in a cabin. Nooks near fireplaces to steal away for a quite moment, a layout that flowed easily from the bar, dance floor, and so on. The dinner was lovely as well, although I am not sure that an outside caterer wasn't solely responsible for that. I would love to see this cabin in the dead of winter when one has to ski in and ski out to gain access. I bet it looks absolutely charming covered in snow, which makes me want to sit by the fireplace, cocoa in hand staring out the half walls of glass into the valley below. read more

What a unique experience. The only way to get to Allies cabin for dinner is by taking a bobcat "sleigh ride" up the mountain. It takes some pretty steep hills so it is quite the adventure. Then once you are inside you can change into warm slippers, use their charging stations after a long day of skiing, and have a nice glass of wine and dinner. The service was great. Went for a recent wine dinner which is held on Thursday nights during the season at Allie's Cabin in Beaver Creek. This one featured Chateau Montelena. We enjoyed every bit of it. You take a Snocat open air sleigh ride (dress warmly and wear a hat) up the mountain, watch the fireworks, have a great meal and enjoy great wines. The food was excellent; the snapper was one of the best we ever had and unlike many of this degustation type events, the wine was plentiful as opposed to this tiny little pours you get sometimes. It is expensive for sure ($500 for two), but if this type of experience is on your bucket list, it is money well spent. The staff at Allie's Cabin were all terrific. These girls made the dining experience such a comfortable and lovely one. Bob the host for the evening was informative but not intrusive and was very helpful. We mentioned to him that providing tasting notes with the wines might be a way to turn a degustation into a fun blind tasting. And the chef whose name escapes us was very visible and hugely friendly. Special mention to Elizabeth (now known as Queen Elizabeth) and Katie in reservations who were totally helpful and completely professional. Great experience! read more

My wife and I, along with her three young daughters, ate here during a ski weekend to Beaver Creek. Very average food, with extraordinarily ridiculous pricing. Two adult meals, three kids meals... No alcohol. $450 later we were on our way down the mountain. Do yourself a favor, save $300 and eat in the village, or down the hill in Avon.
