    Cavatelli

Excellent spot in Beaver Creek for a fancy, dimly lit dinner. The service was fantastic from even before you step into the restaurant. The valet service is prompt (they even make an effort to address you by your last name), organized coat check service is available if you're going in the winter, and the servers are well trained. The bread service is soooo good - the honey butter on their honey oat bread is now the standard. I only took a picture of the Cavatelli appetizer which was delicious! I split a New York Strip entree and it was plenty for me, I still had leftovers. If you do end up with leftovers and ask for it to-go, they provide you with an actual reusable bag :0

This food was PRICEY but you get what you pay for. Amazing service, fresh ingredients, and the lemon soufflé was phenomenal! My waiter even went above and beyond with dessert to congratulate me on my new pregnancy. Home baked breads were phenomenal. Truly this was a 5 star dining experience with a chef who gives you a wonderful culinary experience. My husband had the branzino, and that was our favorite.I loved that we could see into the kitchen and watch the chefs make the food. I would come back again for a special occasion!

My boyfriend surprised me with a dinner reservation here and I was so impressed! He knows that I love a fine dining experience and Splendido did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful and has gorgeous views of the mountains. Everyone was friendly and our server, Auggie, was super patient with us! To start, we ordered a couple glasses of Pinot Noir and the foie gras and asparagus appetizers. Both were extremely delicious. The foie gras was really well rounded in acid-fat balance. The acidity and sweetness levels of the sauce really rounded out the whole dish. The asparagus was also delicious. The sauce was the winner for me. I think it was a Bernaise sauce and it was extremely tasty when paired with the asparagus and mushrooms. For dinner, I ordered the dover sole and my boyfriend ordered the tenderloin. My mind was blown. Everything was so perfect. My fish was cooked perfectly and the flavor was so unique. Buttery and mildly sweet! I loved it. The tenderloin was also cooked to perfection and seasoned so well. Both were melt in your mouth satisfaction. I love that in fine dining restaurants they never place salt and pepper shakers on the table. The chef is expected to prepare each dish to the level of wonderful that you should never need to alter any aspect of your plate. Obviously, the service was fantastic, and they even treated us to a little anniversary dessert! We felt extremely pampered and were both completely delighted with our meals. 10/10 recommend!

    House salad.

Excellent restaurant in Beaver Creek. Great menu with many options to choose from and a well performing kitchen. We enjoyed delicious salads. Jamie choose a house green salad that was huge. I had a tomato salad. For dinner Jamie had a Chilean sea bass while I had their version of Dover Sole. Both were extraordinary. For dessert - we shared a chocolate soufflé. Highly recommended!

Buckle up folks because this is going to be extensive! Service: Our main server was Laurie and she was absolutely delightful! She was extremely attentive and witty. Laurie made sure to clarify any items on the menu that were slightly confusing and was quick to make superb suggestions for courses. Additionally, there were multiple other servers who ensured our cups were never empty and our empty plates were picked up quickly. Food: Oh. My. Gosh. The food was so so good. The party I was in had 4 people and we each made sure to order something different so that were would be able to try the most possible options on the menu. For appetizers, we ordered Steak Tar Tar, this apricot burrata dish, and the carrot. All were exceptionally flavorful. We were also served bread with tomato purée and this amazing honey butter which I could not recommend more. Our entrees were also very yummy. Our table ordered the Dover Sole, which was this incredible white fish all the way from Norway. We also ordered the Millers Chicken that included this delish mushroom and truffle flavoring. Next, the beef tenderloin with the onion tart was like butter. It was amazing. Finally, the pork chop had a unique flavor and was perfectly accented with a sort of lime sauce. We ended with the best desserts. The lemon soufflé and strawberry soufflé were light and sweet. The rhubarb dessert was so yummy and unique. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. It's a bit on the pricier side but I think it's worth it. I had an amazing meal with amazing people.

Wood Oven Roasted Colorado Lamb Rack

This place was fantastic. Best lamb I have ever had in my life honestly. Also extra brownie points for the bread. It comes with a salted whipped butter and a butternut squash spread. I could've just eaten the bread and left happy. The wine selection was really good, the ambience was great, and the people at my table thought that the chocolate soufflé was the best one they've ever had. Overall great experience. Only thing I would say is that the menu is quite Small.

We had the absolute best time. Everything was amazing, exceeded expectations. Our waitress, Lori, was super enthusiastic to tell us about what she recommended, which was exactly what we needed! She was the absolute best. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area. The ambiance is laid back but also entertaining. Absolute best service we've ever had!

Splendido is hands down my favorite restaurant in Beaver Creek and in the Vail area. It's been a long standard of my families and the one spot that we take any guests visiting Colorado to. With it's setting amongst the evergreens and aspens and the menu designed to showcase Colorado's finest, there's nothing to dislike about this restaurant. Their wine list is extensive and the general manager is a well versed sommelier and can help guide you in choosing the right wine based on your palate or preference. The menu has something for everyone but is focused on showing off what's great in Colorado. The elk, lamb rack, dover sole, and foie gras are the highlights. Finally, it's all about their soufflés. I highly recommend opting for one of their tasty soufflés for dessert. They are airy, fluffy, and delicious and my mouth is watering as I'm typing this. The flavors change seasonally so you'll have to see what suits your desires at the time, but after having tried a variety over the years, I haven't found one I haven't loved. I look forward to coming here again the next time we visit Colorado!

We weren't asked if we wanted it split - this made it $25, which was not worth it. I opted for the table side cacio e pepe which was super cheesey and also had delicious pork belly blended in. My husband had the burger which was 2 larger patties combined - we only wished it could've been cooked more medium rare because the flavor of the meat had so much potential! We weren't hungry for dessert but the table next to us got a unique mason jar dessert that looked like it was packed with chocolatey goodness. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with providing recommendations. We started off with the bread and fondue. The fondue was a big hit with our table, and the cheese was so tasty. The bread was also good, and had a nice unique taste. For mains I tried some of the following: -steak frites: delicious and cooked perfectly, and a huge portion of delicious fries -mussels: definitely a miss, and tasted a bit too salty and the sizes were pretty inconsistent -filet: amazing -mushroom ravioli: absolutely horrible, literally the worst ravioli I've ever had -cacio e pepe: sooo tasty, but tastes was more like carbonara vs a traditional cacio e pepe. I liked the presentation and really loved the pork too. I would definitely recommend sticking with the meats here, as the pasta and seafood were major misses (except the cacio e Pepe was amazing) Overall a solid option for a nicer meal, but not the greatest place ever.

My buddies had beers and I had the winter mule, which was a raspberry/blueberry mule - it was really good. My dining mates shared a bottle of wine at dinner. Our server Petra was very good - attentive, efficient, friendly, and overly and unnecessarily apologetic for something totally immaterial! I went to the hostess to ask for a fork between appetizers and my main. In fact she immediately brought me a complimentary cocktail as a gesture. Our appetizers of lamb meatballs and pickled deviled eggs were outstanding. The meatballs had a Mediterranean flair with some tzatziki sauce, picked and pita bread. The deviled eggs were perfectly creamy and savory - but I can't say I have ever had a bad deviled egg! For mains, two of us had the wagyu tenderloin. Our other dish was the thick cut lamb loin chops. (I forgot to take a pic of my main!) We all opted for the sides of a twice baked potato and broccolini - which were included with our dish. However you could choose a set of sides from any main dish. My steak was a perfect rare and super tender. The potato was a little disappointing - I had expectations of a big fluffy twice baked... it was smallish and maybe a bit stale - I think I got a few bites out of it. Desserts were the toffee cake and crème brûlée. I tried the crème brûlée, which was lit at the table - a nice, but unnecessary touch. I believe it was Bacardi 151, haha. Overall, it was a nice dinner - service was very good, and most of the food was spot on.
