Allo is perfect for working parents who need flexibility too. Once the word gets out I bet they will have 2 year waiting list and have to open more locations. My daughter has a 1.5cm lift in her left shoe to keep her hips level and healthy. We've gone to a million indoor playspaces and classes where it was never an issue. But boy was it an issue here. I was treated disrespectfully based on my daughters small physical difference from other kids. It hurt me so much. Even after I explained why she wears them and that they were clean...they were still hesitant to let my sweet little 18 month old play there?! Awful. PS- if you need another reason to skip this place... $20 dollars if you will only be there an hour?! Every other playspace offers a $10 for 1 hour deal... Or 15 for the entire day. Skip it and go Vinkari Safari, Imagine in Cambridge, or MuckyKids art studio.. There are better and more affordable options for indoor play spaces and activities for kids 5 and under. read more

This is a tough review to write. I usually only write positive reviews. If I have a bad experience somewhere, I like to contact them directly because I feel like everyone can have a bad day and I do not want to hurt a business if that is the case. I went into Allo with my 3 year old grandson so he could play with other children and to see if this may be a place that we could send him on a weekly basis. When I went in there was 1 employee and 1 small child. She came into the climbing room where we were and looked very sad. She said to me "my Mommy is coming back for me". I told her "of course she is". The girl working kept poking her head in. She heard her say it to me. I said to the teacher "where are all the kids?". She said "they went to the park and her mother does not want her to go". This woman seemed annoyed. She would cross her arms and roll her eyes at the little girl. There was no consoling. When the children returned from the park they had lunch and then played. 2 boys were setting up some large wooden tracks (I think thats what they were). 1 of the boys hit my grandson and the other boy in the head with the wood. There were no teachers in this room. At this time, the little girl from earlier was at the lunch table and she was crying. The same teacher stood at the table towering over her with her arms crossed. Again, no consoling just standing there letting her cry. Then the teacher guided her out of the room and made her stand in the lobby area next to the coats and shoes. She just stood there and cried and the teacher went back behind the desk. This was so incredibly sad. Clearly this little girl was having a bad day. Or maybe she is like this every day. I do not know. But this teacher never bent down to her level just stood right over her, arms crossed and did not try to talk to her. I'm sure working with kids is not easy at times, but there needs to be compassion. Maybe this little girl is going through something tough at home. The situation and having to write this is sad, but as a parent I would want to know. read more

This playscape is next level! I've never seen so much variety in learning activities, toys, and interactive classes! This staff works very hard and it shows. I've seen families of all ethnicities play and interact here. Everyone is friendly and just happy to be involved with their children's learning in a clean healthy environment. We recently hosted my daughter's first birthday at Allo. The event far exceeded our expectations. The space was beautifully and creatively decorated. In every corner was a fun, engaging activity--a sand box sensory table filled with jewels and seashells, a table decorated with mermaid tails on the backs of the chairs, an art corner, a slide/climbing structure--in keeping with the "under the sea" theme. The activities were perfectly suited for the age group of my daughter's little friends--9 months through 6 years old. The room comfortably fit our 55 guests (including 15 kids). In addition to creating the playful event space, Shana, Allo's owner, handled all of the set up and clean up--she received the food from the caterer, helped set up our homemade desserts, packed up all the leftover food, helped us pack/unpack our car and more.
