    The phrase, I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemies doesn't apply here. I would absolutely wish this money pit on my worst enemies. Unprofessional, unreliable, expensive, and worst of all TIME CONSUMING. AC wasn't working, so I took my vehicle in. They quoted me NOTHING, said "we'll take a look and call you." Never heard from them again, so I just drove to the facility at their closing time. They said they could not find the leak but have replaced the fluid, placed dye, and would recheck it as part of the package (that I never agreed to). I didn't even make an issue out of them charging me without authorization, because they said it should be good and time is the most valuable thing to me. AC stops working a week later. I take my Yukon in two more sperate times they hold on to my vehicle from open to close on both separate days, never calling me to come pick it up I just show up around closing. They say they can't find the leak and they are going to have to charge me extra to take the bumper off.... I decided this was taking to long and wanted someone else to take a look. I took my Yukon to another shop which found the leak and replaced the fluid in 45 MINUTES from walking in the door. New place scheduled me for an appointment and had it fixed in less than a day on that scheduled appointment. The other place got the job done and was cheaper. This place seems to be a stereotypical scamming auto shop. I wasn't even concerned about the money, all the time wasted at this shop is was what killed me. When I wrote them, they responded with "there is no universal fix that fixes everything". I didn't want a universal fix for everything, just wanted my ac to work like I said day one. That was my experience with this place. ****This company has responded by telling me that I never took my vehicle there and that I have made a mistake. I have attached a screenshot of some the paperwork they have sent (because they do it electronically) with their address at the top. Everything I said was accurate. And again, inefficient on your end. Please take better care of your responses than you do of customers vehicles.

    Mike and his team have been great. The last two times I have taken my cars to Mike they were honest with their pricing, and realistic with their deadlines. It's unusual to have this experience with most mechanics. Unfortunately a lot of mechanics will look at your car for the reason you brought it in then they call you and tell you something else needs to be fixed, and that they don't feel it is "safe" to drive home with the car in that condition. Mike and his team did not use any old school dirtbag mechanic tricks, they just give an honest price, fix it, and that's it. I will continue to bring my cars into Allstar Auto Repair.

    They changed the wrong battery cable on my car and had to fix which they did at no charge. But it was a pretty careless mistake.

He has great customer service at the front desk and answered any questions and concerns I had. He offered a rental car or a free ride back home (which is the services they provide). The driver was very kind, friendly and safe driver. My car went in for diagnostics, after inspection, I gave a go to replace the clogged CAT. They gave me a very great inspection report, full with pictures and easy to read descriptions (I also very much like the 3D video explanations to which parts they are referring to). For now, it runs a lot smoother and I'm very happy with how my car runs (I haven't driven it long enough yet). I drive the most in my family, so it feels great to get things I need done now. :) My cons: I would say communication could be a little better. I had dropped my car off 5/29 and didn't get it back until 6/12. It's the longest I've ever had my car stay at a shop, and I will admit I was uncomfortable with how long it stood there. I did feel strung along the entire process, as I was told multiple different dates when my car should be finished. I had to call the shop a good number of times to get an update and I hate having to call to ask the same question over and over (felt like a kid on a road trip constantly asking "are we there yet?"). So, I'm not sure how their process goes about when taking in cars, if maybe they take a little too much than what they can handle time-wise or if maybe scheduling an appointment with them would make a difference? I didn't find out what the issue was until I had come in to pick up my car, to which I am very understanding that things happen, but I wish I was informed during the phone calls I had made. I'm aware of the excessive amount of problems there are with CAT's and they had informed me that the CAT's were being stolen during transport before they even reach the shop or customers (which is such an issue in itself, that ticks me off), so the shop had faced delay due to those circumstances that were not in their control. :) Overall: Pretty good and very kind set of guys that work there. Communication with the customer could be better, so I didn't have to feel left in the dark. Would prefer accurate finish dates and with explanation if there is ever delay (I did refuse a rental car in the beginning because I was told inspection would be done the following day if not till very early next week, but then a few days became 2 weeks) so, definitely want more accurate times to plan my days that I don't have a car. :)

Sure enough Matt called me to let me know there were some items found during inspection and which ones needed to be addressed right away. After agreeing to the updated quote they got to work. I came back to the shop prior to being told my car was ready, and I think there may have been a delay in getting parts needed (dropped the car off at 9am, wasn't done until 4pm). Other than that, the quoted price is what I paid, there wasn't any pushing to buy a service that wasn't needed. I will definitely be bringing my car back for the additional work needed.

I chose this…read morecompany based on location and called ahead to confirm they could do more than just read basic codes. I had already done my own diagnostics and knew the car was running rich. I had ruled out the upstream O2 sensor, catalytic converter (both new), MAP sensor, and fuel injectors. I explained all of this to Matt before bringing the car in. He assured me they could perform deeper diagnostics with their equipment. After dropping off the car, Matt called and told me they had "confirmed" exactly what I had already told them, and that the next step would be pulling spark plugs--for an additional fee. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't understand is why I was still charged the full $85 diagnostic fee, plus a $4 hazardous materials fee and $3 shop supply fee. Plugging a car into a diagnostic scanner does not generate any hazardous waste--no fluids are drained, no chemicals are used, and no parts are replaced. There's nothing about a basic scan that would justify a hazardous materials charge. That kind of fee typically applies when disposing of things like oil, coolant, or other regulated waste, none of which occurred here. In the end, I paid $92, wasted time and gas, and learned nothing new. The most concerning part was Matt admitting he didn't even know spark plugs would need to be checked as part of further diagnosis.

At first , not gonna lie, I thought the price was a little high compared to what I'm used to paying for an oil change. I usually pay $85 and they were quoting me $130 here for just an oil change I have a 2010 Honda Element and needed a brake light bulb replaced too. They had a coupon available for the oil change so It brought it down to $129 for both oil & bulb What really impressed me was the communication. They sent text updates while my car was being worked on and provided a full digital inspection with photos and videos. They showed me my tires, air filter, battery, windshield wipers and other items they checked. They also provided quotes for future maintenance without any pressure. As a woman, I really appreciated being able to actually see what they were talking about. Instead of just telling me something needed to be replaced... they showed me pictures. That made me feel a lot more comfortable and confident that I wasn't being sold something I didn't need. The shop itself is clean and modern. I also liked that there is a window where you can see them working on your vehicle. I've never had a mechanic provide this much information before. It gave me peace of mind knowing my car is in good shape and now I know what items I should keep an eye on for the future. I feel like I got more of a premium service, especially with their diagnostic test so the price I paid makes sense I will definitely be back. Their name is Stress-Free Auto for a reason

I live in San Clemente and she lives in La Verne which is about 75 miles away for me, no problem I was at her home @ 8am. I explained to her that I used to have my vehicle serviced at H Car Repair and should give them a try. Ok Grandpa let's go she stated, about 7 minutes away arrived and I let her explain what service she needed and any problems she is experiencing. A very proud Grandpa as she spoke with the owner-manager of the shop. She and Dave agreed to have the work completed. So she and I went to have breakfast and enjoy each other's company which was wonderful to catch up. A couple of hours later her vehicle is ready, Dave brought in the parts replaced into the lobby showing my granddaughter and explaining in detail the process and cost. It was a win win overall H Car Repair has a new customer and Granddaughter now knows that she can go have her car serviced without being taken advantage of at a fair price. 5 STAR SERVICE GRANDPA HAS NOW DONE HIS JOB, THE LITTLE BIRD HAS LEARNED TO FLY ON HER OWN !
